About the role 

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team, in the newly created role of Support and Community Manager: Music Minds Matter.

Music Minds Matter has developed an ambitious new impact model which aims to transform mental wellbeing amongst people working in music and this role will manage the development and delivery of support within this model and play a truly impactful role across music. 

Day to day the role will deliver a blend of: new support development- from training and groups, to online digital content- ensuring all support is developed in line with our Clinical and Quality Governance protocols, planning and coordinating support for teams and sites across music, direct delivery of some support online and in person, and relationship management of our incredible network of Allies and delivery partners. 

About you 

Lived experience of the music industry, strong programme management skills, mental health service expertise, and the ability to build meaningful stakeholder connections across music will be the essential enablers for true impact in this role. 

You will need to self-manage a diverse portfolio of opportunities — mixing programme management with industry events and meetings to foster partnership. You will need to combine an in-depth understanding of safe and high-quality mental health support with a genuine understanding of what it’s like to work in music and what can make people in music thrive; and you will need to be a compelling and confident communicator able to convey both expertise and empathy.

About The Role

We’re seeking a dynamic individual to support Medair UK’s engagement with trusts and foundations in the United Kingdom. You will be an integral part of this growing Christian charity. You will be a positive and solution focused fundraiser, ready to take initiative and embrace challenging targets. Ideally you will have experience in growing income from trust and foundations from both longstanding and new potential partners, or be able to demonstrate highly relevant transferable experience. Key Activity Areas  

Lead Generation  

• Be responsible for account management of caseload of mid-range Trusts & Foundations.

• Work collaboratively with the Engagement Manager, Engagement Support Officer and volunteers in the identification, approach and management of UK Trusts and Foundations.  

• Regularly research and review opportunities for building potential relationships with prospective Trusts and Foundations and progressing relationships and applications with them through compelling communications. 

• Work with existing networks and contacts to identify and approach potential trusts and foundations and develop relationships with key decision makers there 

• Identify and pursue opportunities to increase income from existing Trust and Foundation relationships 

Communications and Management  

• Work towards an agreed target each year of engaged trusts and related income, both restricted project and unrestricted funds.

• Write compelling cases for support and proposals in order to secure grants 

• Effectively work with internal contacts throughout the global Medair organisation in the preparation of approved proposals, reports and supporting financial and impact information 

• Manage Medair’s engagement plan, initiating and delivering creative touchpoints throughout the year for all of Medair’s trust and foundation partners, as well as building relationships with trustees and representatives through video, online meetings, events and face-2-face opportunities 

Planning, monitoring and pipeline management  

• Maintain a good record of the application pipeline and CRM (salesforce), monitoring application output, income targets, fund allocations and reporting deadlines.

• Ensuring all grants from trusts and foundations are correctly allocated to Medair programmes, with the appropriate grant card on Medair’s project management platform and maintaining good contact with country programmes and finance partners throughout the lifecycle of Medair UK co-funded projects.

Internal Liaison  

• Liaise with Medair’s Heads of Country Programmes, Country Directors and Communications Officers in order to gather information and data for the purposes of applying and reporting to funders 

• Work collaboratively with finance colleagues in the preparation and approval of budgets and reports.

• Foster dynamic and mutually beneficial relationships with other fundraisers within Medair international and the affiliate offices, readily sharing proposals, reports and information.

Mines Advisory Group (MAG) is seeking an experienced reward consultant or consultancy team to support a comprehensive review and redesign of its UK contracted reward framework.

About MAG

MAG (Mines Advisory Group) is an international humanitarian organisation working to save lives and build safer futures in conflict affected and fragile contexts. We operate globally across mine action and weapons and ammunition management programmes, working in partnership with governments, donors and affected communities.

Overview

MAG is undertaking a strategic review of its UK contracted reward framework to ensure it remains fit for purpose, aligned with organisational priorities, and able to support the attraction, retention and development of key talent.

MAG has committed to a more comprehensive review in 2026. This assignment will provide external expertise to support diagnostic analysis, design of a revised framework, and development of practical, implementable recommendations.

Purpose of the assignment

The purpose of this consultancy is to review and redesign key elements of MAG’s UK contracted reward framework so that it is fair, transparent, market aware, operationally effective and financially sustainable.

The assignment will combine technical analysis, stakeholder engagement, options development and implementation planning.

Scope of work

The review will focus on UK contracted staff and will include:

• Review of reward policy and principles to assess alignment with organisational needs and future direction
• Assessment of current job family structure, grading architecture and overall framework design
• Review of job evaluation methodology, including clarity, consistency and practical application
• Analysis of salary structures, progression approaches and incremental models
• Review of allowances and modular reward elements, with recommendations for simplification and alignment
• Development of practical design options with clear recommendations and rationale
• Indicative cost modelling and affordability analysis
• Development of a high level implementation and transition roadmap

The consultant will engage with key internal stakeholders and provide advice that is grounded in relevant market practice while being appropriate for an international humanitarian organisation.

Deliverables

The assignment is expected to produce:

• A diagnostic report outlining strengths, risks and key issues in the current framework
• An options paper with clear recommendations and rationale
• A high level proposed reward framework design
• Indicative financial modelling of recommended options
• An implementation and transition roadmap
• Presentation materials suitable for senior leadership and governance discussions

Prospectus is excited to be working with the our client to help them recruit for a Trust and Foundations Manager to join their UK team. The foundation is a UK-based microfinance charity that gives small loans and business training to women in Malawi, Zimbabwe and Zambia. They envision a world where people living in poverty have the opportunity to build sustainable and better lives for themselves and their families. They provide women in sub-Saharan Africa with financial services, business training, mentoring, and ongoing support.

This is an exciting time to join the foundation as they embark on a phase of major organisational growth. In 2026, they are launching a capital campaign to expand their outreach from serving 150,000 women each year to 1 million women annually.

The role is offered on a permanent full-time basis with a salary between £40,000 to £45,000 per annum with flexible hybrid working options between home and their London office.  

The Trust and Foundations Manager is responsible for securing significant grant income from trusts, foundations, and institutional funders in the UK and internationally. The role leads on developing and managing a high-value funding pipeline, securing five  and six figure grants, and building strong, long-term funder relationships. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Communications, they will work closely with colleagues in London and across sub-Saharan Africa to develop compelling proposals, budgets, and reports. The role includes line management responsibility for one fundraising team member.

They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in securing significant grants (five or six figure gifts) from trusts, foundations, and institutional funders. They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience in writing successful grant applications and bids, with a portfolio of high-value awards. The ideal candidate will have an interest in international development and the work of MicroLoan Foundation.
