Job description

About us

Pancreatic cancer is a tough one but we’re taking it on. We are supporting those affected by the disease, investing in ground breaking research, lobbying for greater recognition of pancreatic cancer and being a voice for everyone involved in the fight. Together we are taking on pancreatic cancer.

The role

This is a great opportunity to learn about supporter care in a busy charity. The role will play an integral part of getting the organisation prepared for future growth and will sit in the Supporter Care team within the Fundraising Department.

The responsibility of the Supporter Care Assistant is to ensure that all income to the charity is accurately processed and recorded in a streamlined and cost-effective way and that our current and new campaigns and propositions are supported by robust, effective and efficient processes and procedures, allowing us to maximise ROI while giving supporter experience that meets or exceeds expectations.

About you

You will bring strong organisational, written, IT and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for excellent customer service and problem-solving. As you will have direct contact with our supporters it is important that you are able to relate with compassion to people affected by pancreatic cancer, especially on the phone.  Training will be given. You will also need to grasp and follow the regulations for income-processing. This role would suit someone who is keen and quick to learn and enjoys working on detail whilst being part of a busy and responsive team.

Working with us

We are an inclusive employer committed to developing a diverse workforce and are looking for people who can demonstrate dedication to our cause and values. We offer a supportive place to work with helpful and friendly staff who report a high level of job satisfaction. Our main office is based in London on the river with views toward Westminster.
