Job description

Deputy Director of Development

Based at Head Office, Preston (travel across the North West as required)

37 hours per week

£40,000 gross per annum

About the role

This role will be responsible for engaging with external agencies, new and existing stakeholders, including commissioners, key local and regional decision makers, including elected members and MP’s, to build strong partnerships, maximising our chances of successful tenders and wider business development activities. The role will work closely with, and when required deputise for, the Business Development Director. The role will ensure local intelligence is embedded in tender responses; actively contributing to content development and supporting our continued drive for organisational growth.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience of working in a senior Partnership Development role, including working in partnership with agencies from a range of sectors, creating and maintaining partnerships across wide geographic areas, instigating and leading partnerships / consortia and/or alliances with a view to joint tendering and leading on the tendering process; from response development through to submission.
