CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.
Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.
The Role
We’re excited to be creating a new Head of People role to support the next phase of our charity’s development. The role provides strategic leadership, expert input and operational oversight of CoppaFeel!’s people, culture and employment practices, aligned with organisational strategy, values and governance.
Blending strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, the role operates with professional autonomy within the People remit and works in close partnership with the Director of Operations, who retains overall accountability. You will support senior leaders, strengthen organisational culture and ensure people practices are consistent, inclusive and effective as the organisation evolves.
This role sits within the Operations Department, reports into the Director of Operations and line manages the HR Manager. This is a hybrid role, with two days per week in our London office. The role is full-time but will consider part-time.
Duties and Responsibilities
The responsibilities below set out the primary scope of the role, but are not an exhaustive list. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to shape future needs, build capacity and respond to organisational growth.
- Develop, implement and deliver CoppaFeel!’s People Strategy to support organisational priorities, providing expert input into strategic decision making and organisational planning.
- Lead strategic workforce planning including succession planning to identify and plan for the charity’s future .
- Establish, monitor and report on key people metrics and performance indicators, using data and insight to evaluate effectiveness, inform continuous improvement and support evidence based decision making for the Leadership team, SMT and , where appropriate, Trustees.
- Define, monitor and be accountable for the effectiveness of all people related functions, including recruitment and inclusion, retention, engagement, leadership capability and overall employee experience.
- Act as a trusted adviser to the Senior Leadership Team and senior managers, providing expert guidance and organisational insight informed by feedback from across the organisation.
- Fulfill the responsibilities of a Head of Department, including accountability for delivery and outcomes, role modelling CoppaFeel!’s leadership behaviours and contributing to effective organisational decision making.
- Act as senior lead for complex employee relations issues and provide expert guidance on best practice.
- Develop and coach managers and leaders across the organisation to embed a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Ensure HR practices are consistent, equitable and legally compliant.
- Maintain, develop , implement and communicate People Policies, processes and systems, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all staff.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law, GDPR and safeguarding requirements.
- Support the Director of Operations in managing people related risk, and reporting, contributing to SMT, CEO and Trustee level oversight as required.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- CIPD Level 5 minimum (Level 7 desirable).
- Significant HR generalist experience at senior advisory or lead level.
- Experience designing and implementing HR policies, frameworks and people processes.
- Experience leading EDI, culture or wellbeing initiatives.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and GDPR.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels.
- Experience supporting managers through complex ER matters.
- Ability to translate strategy into practical, people-focused solutions.
Desirable
- Charity sector experience or experience working in a mission driven organisation.
- Coaching or leadership development experience.
- Experience in a small organisation or growing charity.

The Marketing and Comms Manager will support the delivery of Ella’s integrated communications,
marketing and emerging advocacy work. This role will help to ensure Ella’s reaches and influences
external audiences effectively — raising awareness of the challenges faced by survivors,

Context and Background
The NSPCC’s mission is to end cruelty to children by fighting for every childhood.
To carry out its charitable work, the NSPCC relies on the fundraising support of
people across the UK for 90% of its annual income. Within fundraising, our aim is
to provide maximum resources for the NSPCC. We aim to provide the best possible
supporter experience, building long-term relationships to create an experience
which is different, better and more rewarding than that of supporting any other
charity.
The Public Engagement team is responsible for developing and delivering the
strategy that will drive significant, long-term income growth by inspiring and
engaging public audiences to support the work of the NSPCC.
This will be achieved through integrated, audience-led, multi-channel marketing
approaches, including; mass participation, individual giving, and campaigns that
generate sustainable funding aligned to the NSPCC’s strategic priorities.
Alongside income generation, the team plays a vital role in increasing public
understanding of abuse and neglect and building advocacy.
The Associate Head of Supporter Data Insight and Selections is a key
member of the Public Engagement leadership team who will lead the
development and delivery of insightful supporter data reporting and analysis,
working closely with Operations and philanthropy and partnership teams to
identify business challenges, commission, develop and analyse data sets that
directly improve fundraising outcomes. The role will also be responsible for
managing our vital data selections team, who ensure the right supporters are
receiving appropriate communications.
The team will foster a high-performing, results-driven culture that values
collaboration, innovation, and integration. By focusing on excellent supporter
relationship management and purposeful engagement, it will deliver long-term,
sustainable impact to support the NSPCC’s mission.

Main duties and responsibilities
• Develop and lead the Supporter Data Insights and Selections team
• Work with leaders in Engagement and Fundraising to develop and drive the
strategic direction for Supporter Insight, data analysis and data selections
across the NSPCC.
• Build a productive partnership with the PowerBI development hub in
Technology, utilising their semantic models and complex reporting, and
taking on tools they have developed.• Initiate and oversee the development of data driven insight, analysis and

The role

About Friends of Ibba Girls School (FIGS)
Friends of Ibba Girls School, South Sudan (FIGS), is a registered UK Charity (114620) set up in 2011, at the request of local community leaders to help build and develop a girls’ boarding school in South Sudan. Ibba Girls Boarding School now educates over 320 primary and secondary school girls from across Western Equatoria State and employs around 40 staff.
The school provides high-quality education in a context where most girls leave school before completing primary education and very few reach secondary level. FIGS is a relatively small UK-based charity with a strong national reputation and a substantial impact, demonstrating what high-quality girls’ education can achieve in South Sudan. FIGS works closely with Windle Trust International, which provides technical, financial and organisational support to the school in South Sudan.
FIGS raises approximately £500,000 each year to meet the running and development costs of IGBS and FIGS. Fundraising and effective communications are therefore central to our mission. We are a small team and are looking for someone who will thrive in a varied role, is proactive, organised, and capable of handling multiple demands, with a readiness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
The Role
This role involves supporting both fundraising and communications activities, alongside essential administrative functions. The Fundraising and Communications Officer will play a key role in implementing FIGS’ fundraising and communications plans, supporting donor engagement, campaigns, events, and day-to-day operational administration. You will be working closely with our Head of Fundraising and Communications, ensuring that FIGS has the resources to continue to support the education and boarding of over 320 marginalised girls in South Sudan.
The role is home-based but requires the ability and willingness to travel to fundraising and supporter events across the UK, including occasional evenings and weekends.
FIGS is a trustee-led charity, with an active and engaged Board that plays a hands-on role in governance, strategy, fundraising and ambassadorial work. Trustees bring a wide range of experience, including diplomacy, international development, education, finance and communications, and work closely with staff to ensure the charity is well-run, accountable and effective.
While Trustees retain strategic oversight and are closely involved in key decisions, FIGS also has a small paid staff team responsible for day-to-day operations, fundraising delivery and communications. The culture is collaborative and supportive, with regular interaction between Trustees and staff, and a shared commitment to the success of Ibba Girls Boarding School.

About the role
