Role overview
The Partnership Manager will oversee and deliver account management across our mentoring partnership portfolio. This role involves managing the partner experience across a range of sectors, including higher education, the third sector, schools and corporate partnerships. The post-holder will be responsible for onboarding new partners, supporting them in developing their yearly mentoring plans, engaging in regular communications to ensure we’re on track with our deliverables, and renewing contracts annually. Success in this role will be measured by key performance indicators such as partner satisfaction, partner engagement and meeting renewal income targets.
Key responsibilities
- Onboard new partners and welcoming them to Brightside
- Complete annual mentoring project plans with all partners
- Provide account management for partners to ensure a positive experience
- Coordinate our partner engagement work (such as our partner forums and the partner satisfaction survey)
- Meet regularly with partners to monitor project deliverables and ensure we meet and surpass expectations
- Lead critical partnership meetings, including planning meetings, mid-point reviews and end of contract reviews
- Lead contracting and renewal discussions with partners to achieve renewal income targets
- Manage partner contracts and invoicing
- Lead the recruitment function for our London based mentoring project, working with schools to promote the opportunity to young people
- Create and monitor renewals strategies for each partner
- Identify opportunities for upsells across the portfolio
- Work with partners to identify their critical success factors, and work with the delivery team to realise these
- Maintain our stakeholder register, to ensure we have the right relationships across the portfolio and the Brightside team

Main purpose of role: To manage the day-to-day running of our grant programmes to organisations and support the practical implementation of any new grant programmes from application process through to due diligence and record maintenance.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Grant management
- Act as the first point of contact for grants to organisations.
- Manage a portfolio of organisational grants that deliver our theory of change outcomes.
- Provide full grant management of our organisational grants, including: preparing grant deeds, keeping track of payments and reporting requirements, distilling learning, to grant renewal considerations.
- Organise and conduct regular meetings with funded organisations to learn alongside organisations and see the work in action.
- Implement grant making processes that reflect best practice and encourage learning through our grant making.
- Keep up-to-date with changes and developments in the external environment and work with colleagues to reflect this in strategy and practice.
Grant programme development
- Undertaking scoping and research for new grant programmes, and developing practical knowledge about new programme areas as required.
- Providing project management support for new grant programmes alongside the Senior Grants Manager.
- Taking a lead on the negotiation of new grant agreements.
- Managing the day-to-day processes required by any new grant programme from concept through to advertising the fund, assessing grant applications, due diligence, writing recommendation papers to trustees, to awarding funding and gathering and sharing learning.
Other activities
- Working with the Impact team to develop our monitoring and evaluation capabilities with funded organisations.
- Working with the Partnerships and Participation Manager and Policy and Best Practice Manager to ensure that our grant making processes are informed by the key stakeholders.
- Working with our fundraising and communication team to ensure we are communicating effectively with supporters about our work.

About the team
We have been successfully running the first ever national Peer Support Service for kinship carers in England for over two years since January 2022. We have created 145 peer support groups and supported and trained kinship carers to create and lead their groups in a way which meets their needs.
With a new contract from the Department for Education, we’re now entering a new phase of our service with a focus on:
- creating 90 new sustainable peer support groups in areas of most need over 21 months;
- sustaining and developing the current 145 existing groups, and;
- providing support and help to build a sustainable and welcoming community for all peer support groups across England.
About the role
The type of person we’re looking for:
This is a new a role and a new structure for the team. You will need to be a strong, boundaried manager and leader. You will understand the power of building relationship-focussed peer support groups and the importance of in person local community engagement and outreach.
The team you lead will focus on community outreach and relationship building to develop new groups and new support group leaders through to independence. By independence, we mean that the groups will function successfully without a staff member present.
We want groups to feel a sense of community and belonging through all support and services we offer at Kinship, so your team will be the local contact. They are expected to be out and about in communities.
Your team will need to build resilience through in person outreach, support, training and connection to ensure groups are able to function independently before moving to new ‘hub’ team who will provide centralised support and community building.
Your team will also reach out to existing groups (providing a face of the service and a relationship with it), ensuring they have the resources they need and support to sustain their group and then transition to the ‘hub’ team. This will include in person visits.
Purpose of the role:
The role of Programme Lead is to oversee and take accountability for the development and creation of new sustainable kinship peer support groups across England in priority areas as part of a new hub and spoke delivery model. In this context, your team is the ‘spoke’ of the service, delivering local outreach, online groups (where appropriate) and relationship building with kinship carers.
Managing a national team of seven staff (two direct line reports), you will provide firm leadership, ensuring targets and funder SLAs are met consistently and the service is delivered to a high quality. Our team in Zambia are looking for a Programme Officer to join their WASH NTD project. The WASH NTD Programme Officer will be responsible for all programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation related to SAFE aspects especially WASH and behaviour change interventions.
Accountabilities:
- Support the organisation of the SAFE and WASH NTD Data Tool Development and Targeted Design Assessment for WASH activities relating to the programme and broader NTD work.

This Department comprises the Academy, which supports the professional development of staff and volunteers in rescues and rehoming organisations and Grants & Programmes, which provides strategic funding and support to organisations and researchers within the animal welfare sector. Through their collective efforts, both teams seek to advance change, by empowering local partners, so that more cats and dogs have a better future.
The team is seeking a Grants & Programmes Coordinator to support the development and delivery of the Grants & Programmes function. They will act as first point of contact for the Grants & Programmes team; assist with administration of grants, the maintenance of data, produce reports; develop blogs and case studies; and manage travel for team and grantee events.

Who we are
Arts for Dementia is a small charity but a leader in our field. We work with artists, galleries, museums and community spaces to offer inspiring arts programmes for people in the early stages of dementia and their companions. We train facilitators from around the country in early stage dementia awareness and how to deliver effective arts-based activities for people living with dementia. We also raise awareness of the value of the arts for people affected by dementia through our advocacy work.

Key responsibilities
Working with and supporting the Programmes and Communications Manager, alongside the Charity Administrator, to deliver creative programmes for people affected by dementia, including:
· Community research, specifically identifying potential partners and referrers for our creative programmes, including older adults organisations, arts organisations, NHS and memory services and community centres
· Community outreach and development, including contacting, building relationships and working with potential partners and referrers, with a key focus on improving the diversity of our network and participants
· Recruitment of workshop participants, particularly identifying key referrers and those working with people with dementia, visiting relevant organisations to raise awareness and share information, and gathering contact details of potential participants
· Participant communication and relationship-building, including reminding participants with dementia and family carers of upcoming sessions, being main point of contact for some programmes
· Co-ordinating creative programmes, including working with host organisations, artists and volunteers to set up the space, welcome participants, support them throughout the session, and ensure their enjoyment and safety
· Assisting at and eventually delivering our training to artists and learning teams from cultural organisations
· Supporting the work of the wider organisation, including our weekly online Art Wednesday sessions, events, exhibitions, fundraising events etc, as needed
· Assisting the Programmes and Communications Manager with volunteer and artist management as needed

Fine Cell Work are looking for an exceptionally supportive and non-judgemental individual to act as the first point of contact and underpin all aspects of Fine Cell Work's post-prison programme, Open The Gate (OTG).
Beyond skills for employment, OTG offers a range of support to prison-leavers, who we refer to as Apprentices. The Engagement Support Officer will be responsible for establishing sustainable referral pathways with external partners, recruiting OTG Apprentices in line with organisational strategy, and preparing individual risk assessments and tailored support plans. They will also be responsible for the development of OTG’s remote support scheme and for supporting volunteer employment mentors alongside the Volunteer and Programmes Manager.
Our purpose
Fine Cell Work is a rehabilitation charity and social enterprise that teaches prisoners and prison-leavers to make beautiful handmade products. The making and selling of high quality needlework boosts their self-worth, instils self-discipline and fosters hope. Our aim is for our stitchers to finish their sentences with work skills, money earned and saved, and the self-belief to not re-offend. We also guide them towards training and support on release. At the Fine Cell Work Hub in Battersea, we run our Open the Gate programme which provides work experience, formal training and employment to prison-leavers.
The role
As well as offering person-centred support and helping to shape our post-release programmes, you would be responsible for:
- Presenting and promoting Open the Gate among external partners including HMP resettlement teams, probation services, approved premises and other organisations supporting prison-leavers on their resettlement journey.
- Assisting with the development of risk management plans including information gathering, dissemination, and regular review.
- Providing day to day practical, emotional, and sign-posting support to a caseload of adult Apprentices engaging with Open the Gate and providing ad hoc support to past Apprentices when required.
- Action planning and setting out individual objectives with all Apprentices, supporting them to achieve work-ready outcomes in an agreed period.
- Working with the team to research and liaise with offender support and employment agencies beyond FCW, signposting Apprentices and supporting mentors with appropriate signposting and referrals to partner agencies.
- Working with the wider team at FCW to develop and coordinate a series of employability and creative wellbeing workshops for Apprentices.
- Ensuring timely, accurate, and safe recording of all information and personal data.
- Responding to safeguarding concerns in line with FCW policy and procedure.
- Providing remote support via telephone and online to FCW experienced prison-leavers who do not live in London and the Southeast.
- Supporting the Volunteer and Programmes Manager with delivering the Service User Involvement Strategy and championing service user involvement across the organisation more broadly.
- Supporting the Volunteer and Programmes Manager to recruit and deliver training to mentors and other volunteers in roles supporting OTG Apprentices.
- Working with the Volunteer and Programmes Manager to develop and enhance the OTG Mentor Offer including as the first point of contact for Mentors pre- and post- mentoring sessions.

Salary: £27,000 - £29,000, dependant on experience
