Corporate Partnerships Lead - 0.6 FTE

Purpose of the Role: 

Voice 21 is a rapidly growing national education charity, with a bold new strategy to 2030, and ambitious plans to double fundraised income over this strategic period. We believe there is significant potential for the corporate sector to engage with our work and support our mission to transform education. We are seeking an experienced corporate fundraiser to build our burgeoning programme, unlock exciting new opportunities for support and lead on developing new voluntary income from corporate partnerships. You will champion creative, insight-driven new business development and account management, ensuring partnerships are meaningful, mutually beneficial and aligned with our mission. This role will encompass research and qualification, engagement of potential corporate partners, developing propositions and proposals, pitching and securing new partners and relationship building and stewardship. This role will suit someone proactive and self-motivated, with proven experience in building income from corporate partnerships, who is comfortable working independently, skilled in building relationships at all levels, and driven by Voice 21’s mission.

Key Responsibility of the Role: 

• Work collaboratively across the organisation to build trusted relationships internally, maximise opportunities, and ensure corporate partnerships support our strategic objectives.

• Identify and deliver opportunities to develop new partnerships, securing and onboarding new corporate partners through targeted engagement.

• Build sustainable relationships with corporate contacts, ensuring excellent engagement and stewardship.

• Build a robust pipeline of prospective partners, ensuring a strategic and targeted approach to new business.

• Collaborate across teams to shape and deliver high-value, mutually beneficial partnership proposals that align with organisational priorities. 

• Provide strategic support to the Head of Fundraising and Senior Leadership Team, ensuring where appropriate that senior colleagues are fully briefed and prepared.

• Contribute your sector knowledge, expertise and specialist insights to inform strategy and innovation and assist decision-making.

• Keep accurate records of all interactions with supporters and prospects. 

What you will bring: 

• Proven experience in setting up a corporate fundraising programme, with a track record of securing five-figure+ relationships and raising income to target.

• Knowledge and/or experience of a range of corporate income streams, from strategic partnerships and sponsorships, to cause-related marketing, employee engagement, gifts in kind, etc.

• Strong commercial awareness, with ability to identify and prioritise high-value opportunities. Proactive and assertive, with the ability to recognise and act on new opportunities and the tenacity to secure meetings. 

• Experience of building a portfolio of corporate sector prospects and managing a pipeline of opportunities. Ideally with experience of using Salesforce (or another CRM system) to manage pipelines, track performance and report on outcomes.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, negotiating and influencing to achieve successful outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confident and engaging presentation abilities.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Knowledge of fundraising legislation, ethics, compliance, and data protection requirements.

• Self-motivated, comfortable working autonomously, and able to take ownership of own performance. Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative culture.

Who you’ll work with: Your line manager will be the Head of Fundraising and you will work alongside a fundraising officer. The fundraising team sits in the Operations Directorate.

Where you’ll work: All Voice 21 staff work remotely and this is a home-based role, with some travel expected to our London office (by Victoria station) and elsewhere for meetings. Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on where you are based. Voice 21 pays all travel and accommodation expenses.

As Weldmar Hospicecare moves into an exciting new direction in fundraising, we are seeking a Philanthropy Manager to lead our engagement with key investors and high net worth individuals.

This is a brand new role designed to broaden our reach and secure the major gifts necessary to fund our specialist care services. Working alongside fellow fundraising managers, as well as the Senior Leadership Team and Trustees, and reporting to the Director of Fundraising, your key responsibilities will be to:

Our client is a charity based in Chelsea and Westminster with a mission to create world-class facilities, drive innovation and research, and enhance patient and staff wellbeing. This charity has grown an ambitious fundraising programme, from a £12.5m critical care redevelopment campaign to rapid-response COVID fundraising and a pioneering young people's mental health programme. Now, with over £19m raised towards Thirty at Thirty (a £30m appeal launched in May 2023), the charity is seeking an exceptional relationship fundraiser to help deliver the final phase of this major campaign and to oversee the philanthropic giving programme beyond.

Head of Major Gifts

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising & Communications, the Head of Major Gifts will lead the high-value fundraising activity, personally managing a portfolio of key supporters while leading the Major Gifts team (two direct reports and one dotted-line report). Working closely with the CEO (an experienced and active fundraiser), you will oversee a robust and disciplined prospect pipeline across major donors, trusts and foundations, and corporate partners, and you'll lead the management of the Development Board - an influential group of senior supporters and open doors to transformational philanthropy. The role will also shape and deliver inspiring donor engagement, from curated events and private tours to bespoke proposals, reports and stewardship communications, working in close partnership with senior leadership, clinicians and volunteers across the Trust.

To be successful, you will bring a demonstrable track record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts (relationship-led fundraising), alongside strong influencing skills. You will be a collaborative, motivating manager, comfortable setting direction and driving a high-performance culture, and confident producing compelling written cases for support, proposals and donor reports. You'll be highly organised, detail-focused, and able to thrive in a target-driven, fast-paced environment. Experience of the healthcare sector or arts sector is advantageous but not essential.

We match volunteers to housebound residents to help them engage with communities and leave their homes; we provide long term personalised support to people with mental health conditions and learning disabilities to help them volunteer and find paid jobs; we support patients to deliver hundreds of their own activities and peer support groups at GP practices across City and Hackney; and in partnership with Public Health, we support over 250 Community Health Champions to share vital health messaging with their own diverse communities.  

This is a hands-on and strategic role for an experienced fundraiser who thrives in a small to medium sized charity environment. You will have autonomy to develop a whole new fundraising strategy, utilise diverse fundraising methods, and build and develop new project ideas and partnerships. You will lead on income generation primarily through sourcing and applying to trusts and foundations, and with the potential to build new corporate partnerships, community campaigns and individual giving. You will build authentic relationships with funders and supporters, and together with VCH colleagues, will identify new programme models as ways to generate income. Post holders need to have excellent communication skills, to represent the charity in writing and in person. You must be enthusiastic, self-motivating and confident to work primarily alone, but also able to engage and collaborate with staff from across the organisation to share information and impact evidence to support your role. If you are successful in securing funding there will be the potential to recruit additional support, and for you to become the Head of Fundraising of a small team.

 Weldmar is moving in an exciting new direction in fundraising. This is a brand new role, driving our events and community fundraising strategy. 

You'll lead a dedicated team of both staff and volunteers, delivering high quality mass participation campaigns, and build lasting partnerships with our supporters and fundraisers.

Working alongside fellow fundraising managers and reporting to the Director of Fundraising, your key responsibilities will be to:

· Develop and implement annual engagement strategies, including bespoke and ‘off the shelf’ challenges and events.

You will personally manage a portfolio of high-value donors, cultivating long-term relationships and securing six- and seven-figure gifts. Working closely with the Museum Director, Board of Visitors, and senior academic colleagues, you will connect donors with opportunities that align their interests with the Ashmolean’s mission and global impact.

Alongside your external focus, you will lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture. You will also contribute to the wider DAE strategy, working across Oxford’s collegiate and departmental network to maximise philanthropic success.

About You

• Proven track record of securing major gifts (six- and seven-figure) and building strong donor relationships

ROLE PURPOSE:

Join ShelterBox's high-performing Philanthropy & Partnerships team in a role that is all about ambition, collaboration and impact. As Trusts and Foundations Officer, you'll be at the forefront of supporting and growing ShelterBox's trusts and foundation partnerships - helping the team to build and nurture relationships, inspiring long-term support and sustainable income in line with the organisational strategy, helping to deliver more emergency shelter for families whose lives have been devastated by disaster.

With a loyal and varied portfolio of partners, including family and corporate foundations, this role is your opportunity to support the Trusts and Foundations Manager and Senior Philanthropy Manager to grow ShelterBox's trust and foundation income. You'll research new prospects, draft proposals and reports, ensure due diligence and help to grow our pipeline of prospects, turning creative ideas into long-term, multi-faceted partnerships that drive real change.

You'll work with the Trusts and Foundations Manager to help steward existing relationships, so partners feel valued, engaged and inspired to continue supporting ShelterBox's lifesaving work. You'll also identify new opportunities, drafting and supporting proposals which help ShelterBox stand out from the crowd.

You'll report directly to the Trusts and Foundations Manager, collaborate with the wider Philanthropy & Partnerships team and be backed by colleagues across the organisation. Together, you'll maximise opportunities which deliver powerful partnerships and help shape the future of trusts and foundation partnerships at ShelterBox.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with a commitment to team working. You must have experience producing impactful content for different audiences and strong writing skills which help proposals leap from the page. We are seeking an excellent communicator with great attention to detail, proactive and diligent. You will play a key role in building strong relationships, including managing a portfolio of smaller trusts and supporting the wider trusts team with high-value funders.

You must have strong research skills, excellent organisational ability, with experience in using a CRM or other digital platforms to manage workflow. You should also enjoy copywriting, crafting proposals and creating updates for our partners.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

• Manage a portfolio of Trust and Foundations that have an income less than £100,000.

• Provide tailored stewardship to donors in the portfolio, including special thanks, proposals, reports, and relevant materials.

• Design, write, and deliver persuasive, creative, and tailored funding applications that inspire investment in ShelterBox's work.

• Coordinate with programme, finance, communications, and impact colleagues to gather accurate project information, budgets, and stories that strengthen proposals.

• Support the Trusts and Foundations Manager and Senior Philanthropy Manager with high value proposals, helping to collate due diligence, assist with copywriting and proposal design.

• Assist the Trusts and Foundations Manager and Senior Philanthropy Manager with reporting to high value funders, supporting with research, copy and design.

• Contribute to the development of the trusts and foundations pipeline, researching and identifying new prospects and undertaking due diligence.

• Establish strong working relationships with colleagues across ShelterBox and within the global affiliate network to maximise opportunities and share learning.

• Represent ShelterBox at Philanthropy events, across the UK

• Uphold ShelterBox's values, safeguarding principles, and fundraising best practice in all interactions and written materials.

• Responsible for maintaining accurate records, tracking deadlines, and ensuring all funder communications and submissions are logged in line with internal processes.
• Any other duties as required which are deemed appropriate to the level and grade of the post.

The role offers the chance to work across multiple sectors including arts, heritage, education, health, sport and community organisations, helping clients to develop fundraising strategies, secure funding and build sustainable income streams.

Alongside client work, you will play an active role within the wider Cause4 Development Team, contributing to research, organisational planning, training delivery and business development activity.
