The role of the Senior Digital Marketing Executive is to ensure we provide a great supporter experience to any person, company or organisation who donates to the Epilepsy Society and to help the fundraising and marketing teams increase our number of supporters and fundraisers through digital acquisition.
As part of the Charity’s in-house marketing agency, you will support in responding to briefs from other departments and work closely with their teams to create and deliver marketing plans which deliver on revenue and strategic priorities. You will also work closely with multiple stakeholders, including our digital agency and the other teams within the Fundraising and Marketing Department and the wider organisation.
This role involves supporting various digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, content creation, and data analytics. The postholder will be responsible for a range of tasks to support the efficient and effective running of a fundraising and marketing team dealing directly with donors at all levels to ensure they have the best donor experience. We need someone to help us to reach new people online, drive income and build an enhanced online supporter experience.
There is flexibility within the role; with a hybrid working approach of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. About the role:
This fundraiser will work closely with the Heads of Departments and academics in the Departments of Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences. The post will focus primarily on funding for research, academic posts, scholarships and infrastructure related to Neuroscience which includes Mental Health and neurological disease (e.g. Motor Neurone Disease, Dementia, Parkinson’s, Stroke and Epilepsy). The fundraiser will work on special projects including the possible major capital redevelopment of the Warneford site. While an interest in medical research and neuroscience is essential, you do not need to be a sciences graduate, just an enthusiast for knowledge.

What are we looking for?
Experience in brand development and building brand equity. You will be experienced leading successful integrated campaigns.
Your ability to build relationships at a senior level and influence strategic decisions is paramount. You'll have demonstrated leadership skills, including team line management and budget management.
A comprehensive understanding of brand's role in the charity sector is essential, as is experience in managing agency partnerships.
You will demonstrate a proven ability to develop marketing plans that support the delivery of other teams' products and services and put those affected by MND at the forefront is crucial.
Ability to use data and insights to inform strategy is essential.

We have three great Senior Individual Giving Executive roles at Great Ormond’s Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSHCC), in their individual giving fundraising team. The extraordinary Great Ormond Street Hospital sees 750 seriously ill children and young people from across the UK and this is your chance to make a difference for them. The purpose of the roles is to lead on the day-to-day campaign management as well as explore new digital channels to develop and improve supporter journeys and maximise donor lifetime value.
If you have experience managing campaigns end to end, are analytical and creative, this could be a wonderful opportunity to progress your fundraising career or use your transferable skills to get into the charity sector.
To be a successful Senior Individual Giving Executive, you'll need:
- Experience of individual giving campaign management or clear transferable project management and fundraising skills
- Excellent project management and communication skills, including in developing and delivering multiple marketing campaigns and working with external agencies
- Experience of writing campaign briefs and using data analysis to in inform decision making on supporter or customer contact strategies

About the role
The Individual Giving Team help us achieve our goal of delivering human rights impact by raising funds from our supporters. The Individual Giving Executive is responsible for delivering direct marketing campaigns to develop and engage existing Amnesty International UK financial supporters, across a range of products including cash appeals and the upgrade programme.
You will be working across a range of channels including, but not limited to, print, telemarketing, email and digital. You will need to work with both external agencies and other departments within the organisation to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

- You're skilled at working with and managing tele-fundraising agencies.
- You have project management experience and are able to deliver multiple projects on time.
- You communicate well with internal and external stakeholders.
