Tameside Supported Housing Service is tailored for each person using the service with the ultimate goal to help people manage their accommodation and assist them with reintegration back into independent living and the wider community. Our aim is to help individuals on their recovery journey so they’re able to move on to more independent living within the community.
Maple House - This scheme is available to men and women and is made up of 12 self-contained flats. There is also a communal lounge, kitchen and dining area. Creative Support is the landlord for the property.

Responsible for managing the day‐to‐day running of the service, you’ll ensure the quality of support we provide to people who use our services is second to none. Managing service contracts, line managing staff, carrying out inductions, undertaking investigations, putting team development plans in place and supporting business development colleagues – all are aspects of this challenging and rewarding role.
Substantial experience of managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs is a given, as is the ability to lead by example using a firm but inclusive management style. Some housing management experience would be useful too. Open and encouraging, you have lots of tact and diplomacy and are great at managing conflicting priorities. You also have a flexible approach to working hours and are happy to participate in on call arrangements.

Oaklands & St Kilda is a pair of 6 unit supported accommodation mental health rehab services working with young people between the ages of 18-25 who may have experienced a mental health-related hospital admission to gain and develop skills for future independent living. The service will support individuals transitioning from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to Adult services.
The service forms part of a pair of services supporting up to 12 individuals at any one time across the sites, providing a welcoming and supportive environment for young people across London on a spot purchase basis.
The service aims to support young people to achieve greater independence, manage symptoms of mental health and engage in their local communities.

What you'll do:
As the Service Manager you will be responsible for the effective management of all aspects of service delivery, including line managing the relevant front line staff as well as effectively managing all stakeholder relationships in partnership with the Head of Service.
Drive business planning activities within your contract, ensuring relevant and challenging objective setting and ongoing performance tracking, developing turn around action plans as may be necessary
Using sound financial and accounting principles, manage contract budgets to deliver on corporate and local contract financial targets
Successfully lead and motivate your team to ensure the championing of and maintenance of a positive local culture within your service
Work to continuously improve staff competence, ensure ownership of all staff issues and speedy and effective conflict resolution
Responsible for reporting all staff changes to HR and Payroll departments, as appropriate e.g. starters, leavers, additional hours etc.
Responsible for maintaining quarterly staff succession plans
Deliver effective, professional and commercially focused briefings and supervision meetings with staff and ensure that information, reporting & communications flow up/down is effective
Responsible for managing and allocating ??customers to support staff (casework management)
Develop key business relationships with all relevant customers/external parties to ensure service delivery excellence and maximise new business opportunities in own patch

About the role:

What will you be doing?

FearFree deliver services across the South West for victims of domestic abuse, those who harm and their families and victims of sexual violence and stalking. This post will be based in our Devon domestic abuse service and is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of our services which include IDVA Support for high risk service users, Education and Recovery support for medium and standard risk, Behaviour Change Support for those who harm and support for children and young people who have witnessed domestic abuse and YPIDVA support for those in abusive intimate relationships.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Leading day to day operations within the Devon services.
- Line management of team managers

- Monitoring the outcomes of the service, data and reporting to commissioning partners.
