Role Overview:
The Senior Designer will help us deliver creative content which encourages our audiences to take action with us. Working across printed assets (such as mailers and brochures) to video (for feedback emails or social media ads) to digital ads (paid social, display etc.), you will have an array of creative skills and won’t be afraid to think outside the box to deliver content which inspires.
Working at a senior level, you will be comfortable managing your briefs and projects, working to deadlines and communicating clearly with stakeholders across the organisation. You will act as a guardian of our brand, delivering creative which meets brand guidelines.
Main Responsibilities:
· Produce effective creative assets which inspire our audiences to take action with MH. These assets could be across the following mediums, but not limited to:
o Digital static banners/ads
o Video including reels
o Gifs
o HTML5
o Printed collateral such as brochures or mailers
· Confident working across the full adobe suite, as well as Figma with a willingness to learn new tools as needed.
· Be a guardian of our brand, ensuring all collateral produced fits our brand guidelines.
· As part of the fundraising team, you will lead on creative brainstorming sessions to think about how we can create content which further inspires and engages our audiences – putting the audience’s needs at the forefront of all design choices.
· Design tasks may also be needed to support teams outside of fundraising as needed.
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
· Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and technology to continually improve the team’s output and efficiency.
· Liaise with external vendors and printers to ensure the quality of production materials.

About the Role:
This role is crucial in the long-term retention and growth of our partnership revenue streams. Who we are looking for:
Proven experience in a partnership development or similar role, preferable within the non-profit sector. Minimum of 5 yrs experience in this area.
Bachelors’ Degree in Business, management, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Summary and key purpose
This new role will be primarily responsible for developing, marketing and managing our individual giving together with working across other fundraising disciplines. You will be a key member of our fundraising team, producing compelling fundraising communications, stewarding individual donors, including regular donors and gifts in memory. You will ensure that our donors receive excellent care.
Our Individual Giving programme will incorporate one-off donations, regular giving, digital fundraising, appeals and in-memory giving. You will do this, with the support of our recently appointed fundraising agency, who you will manage our relationship with week by week.
A critical element of the role will be how we market ourselves to potential new donors, taking them on an emotional engagement journey in order to solicit regular gifts.
Your expertise and skills:
To excel in this role, you will need prior experience of working in a fundraising setting, with an understanding of good stewardship practices. You should be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, working across teams and meeting multiple deadlines. Your excellent relationship management skills will enable you to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders and gather information on new projects. You must have a thorough understanding of individual giving, developing donor journeys and experience of work with agencies.
Key responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of the regular giving programme, project managing appeals and overseeing the thanking process for individual donors.
- Create, plan, deliver and evaluate multi-channel, compliant, insight-led, supporter-centric campaigns to engage and drive action from new and existing supporters.
- Manage our newly appointed fundraising agency, and in doing so, help deliver an ambitious appeal programme and income target.

- Help ensure that we comply with legal and compliance requirements including industry best practice, GDPR/PECR regulations and the CIOF code of Fundraising Practice.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships and liaison with other members of RABI staff.
- Take part and contribute to team meetings.

Person Specification:
Essential
- Marketing or direct marketing or marketing qualification.
- Experience of using direct marketing methods to recruit, retain and develop supporters (e.g. telemarketing).
- Previous direct marketing or transferrable experience. This should include project managing or assisting a project manager to plan and deliver activity and evaluate results

The Role

You will develop and use insights to enhance the supporter experience, build relationships with solicitors and Will writing companies to promote the charity’s legacy offer and embed a Gifts in Wills culture across all stakeholders to ensure growth plans within this important income stream are achieved.
Specifically, you will:
Supporter Experience
- Develop and, with the support of colleagues, deliver exceptional customer journeys and on-going stewardship for Gifts in Wills prospects, enquirers and pledgers including written and verbal communications.
Data and Insight
- Ensure relevant details, interactions and preferences for all prospects, enquirers and pledgers are recorded accurately on the charity’s CRM resource.
- Work with colleagues to monitor levels of affinity and engagement amongst prospects, enquirers and pledgers, using insights to improve the Gifts in Wills supporter experience.
Gifts in Wills Proposition
- Work with colleagues in the Marketing Team to develop a Gifts in Wills proposition and marketing plans to acquire new supporters and build the legacy pipeline.
Culture
- Champion Gifts in Wills across the charity, ensuring all colleagues and stakeholders are aware of the importance of legacies and are comfortable communicating with supporters about this way of giving.
Management and Legacy Administration
- Lead the Yorkshire Cancer Research Legacy Steering Group (marketing, administration, and fundraising) to review performance and develop operational plans to deliver the strategy.
- Work with the Legacy Administrator to monitor and progress legacy gift notifications, establishing working relationships with professional executors, next of kin and lay executors as required.

- To be confident working with MS Office and customer/ fundraising databases.
- To have strong organisational skills and performs work to an extremely high level of accuracy.

About the role
You will complete an Initial Needs Assessment (INA) with each client, having a detailed discussion with them to outline their situation and the support they need. A strengths-based approach is used to identify the positive attributes that they can build upon to achieve their goals and is reflected in the design of the INA. Working together with your client, you will map out and agree a set of interventions and the outcomes needed, encouraging and empowering them to actively contribute towards their goals.
You will carry a fluctuating case load of service users with varying levels of needs. The focus of the service is to support the desistance model, supporting individuals to achieve their full potential.
The position will be based in Lincoln Probation, with other locations and travel expected when needed across the National Probation Service Region in Lincolnshire.
