As Project Manager for My Nature Play, you will play a pivotal role in delivering one of LtL’s most ambitious and exciting Early Years projects. You will coordinate a national delivery team from our England or Scotland office, manage staff and LtL accredited network, support evaluation, and ensure that the project achieves measurable impact for practitioners, children and families. 

You will need:  

• Experience of managing large-scale, multi-site or multi-partner projects (ideally within education, environment or charity sectors). 

• Experience of managing budgets of £1m+. 

• Strong understanding of project planning, delivery and reporting processes. 

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. 

• Ability to manage complex timelines and multiple priorities.

We are looking for a highly organised, experienced and exceptional administrator to work as a trusted partner to The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Church Development Agency (CDA). Role purpose:

The Procurement team is crucial to ensuring ShelterBox is equipped with the supply infrastructure we need to work, fundraise, budget, manage data and ultimately deliver vital aid. In addition to working on Indirect Items, the Procurement Team is a skills resource for the rest of the business, identifying and supporting with best practice in procurement and negotiations at all levels.

The Senior Buyer will join a busy and dynamic Procurement team of three individuals (two Senior Buyers and the Procurement Manager) and will quickly become integral to the day-to-day running of the Procurement function. It is expected that the individual will have substantial procurement experience.

The Senior Buyer will be responsible for a variety of Indirect spend and suppliers. Additionally, the Senior Buyer will support the Supply Chain team and the rest of the organisation as a subject matter expert on negotiation and procurement activities.

Job Description

Main role and responsibilities:

Ensure effective procurement of goods, services and works by conducting market research, performing supplier due diligence, implementing rigorous contracting procedures, managing contracts, negotiating favourable terms, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and preparing and maintaining documentation to guarantee best value, efficiency, and accountability to both donors and recipients.

Handling a variety of stakeholders and manage expectations as well as delivering on promised outcomes.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Management of a broad range of categories across the organisation, focussing predominantly on indirect, non-stock purchases.
• Work with Senior Management to identify procurement improvement priorities by analysing forecast spend, supply markets and specification options.

Managing people operations and advisory support

· Support managers with employee relations advice and guidance (informal and formal people processes), acting as a trusted expert on all people policy and process matters.

· Oversee the employee lifecycle from recruitment through to leaving The Charity, ensuring inclusive, legally compliant and engaging processes throughout each stage.

· Lead recruitment campaigns and talent attraction, writing compelling adverts and building a diverse talent pipeline.

Managing volunteering operations

· Lead the operational plan with respect to volunteering, ensuring volunteering supports departmental priorities. This will include acting as the central point of contact for volunteering operations, providing guidance, support and inspiration to teams and volunteers on volunteering policy and process.

· Oversee the recruitment, induction and training of volunteers, working with the People Operations Officer, Senior Learning Officer and People Administrator, developing digital and in-person learning resources. This will include promoting volunteering opportunities internally and externally, ensuring clear and engaging communications.

· Develop recognition initiatives to ensure volunteers feel valued and connected, including campaigns such as Volunteers’ Week and Trustees’ Week, working alongside the Internal Communications Manager role.

· Support Volunteer Coordinators across teams with advice, training and problem-solving to ensure a consistently excellent volunteer experience.

· Ensure volunteering activity is safe and aligned with safeguarding, risk and data protection standards through ensuring policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with legislation.

· Manage the volunteer management system (Volunteero) and use data and feedback to evaluate and improve the volunteer experience.

You will be a key point of contact at RHS Garden Bridgewater who can confidently engage and steward a wide range of donors and stakeholders in the area around the garden. These include local major donors, family-led trusts and foundations, and members of our Patrons programme. You will also lead on sharing information on activities at Bridgewater with the Development and Corporate Partnerships Department and support this wider team with fundraising activities in the Garden.

You will be happy to travel to our Head Office in Central London at least once a month as well as occasional visits to other RHS Gardens and Shows around the country.

Since opening in 2021 RHS Garden Bridgewater has become a hub for the local community, and your role will be to help expand our income for the wide variety of programmes and capital projects in the garden which include our work in education and learning for all ages, community programming, and wellbeing. About the Role

As a Children and Young Person Caseworker you will support of the development and implementation of the CYP Service Model for supporting children and young people who have been affected by crime. Reporting to the Head of Interpretation and Programming, you will work to raise standards of presentation across all ten of our wetland sites whilst ensuring our messaging genuinely excites our visitors about the incredible Superpowers of Wetlands. Not only will you play a key role in influencing our visitors understanding, you will need to inspire staff and volunteers across all sites to be “Visitor First” in their attitudes and behaviours.

About You

We are seeking an individual with:

• Proven experience of working in a similar role, in a visitor facing organisation, influencing visitor experience through the customer journey
• Experience of working to deliver brand messaging in onsite experiences
• Demonstrable experience of project management and delivery
• Confidently able to inspire, motivate and engage a team in a matrix management structure
• Proven experience of supervising external consultants and suppliers
• Evidence of producing high quality work, either alone or in collaboration with others
• Strong creative and innovative mindset with a passion for finding new ways of enhancing standards
• Strong stakeholder management experience, internally and externally, at all levels

We have an exciting opportunity for a Debt Advice Caseworker to join our team at Oasis Waterloo. In the heart of the Waterloo community we run a busy and vibrant community space, open to all. A vital part of this work is our advice services – providing free and accessible debt, benefits, housing and immigration advice to local people. This work has grown over the last few years and we are now looking for an experienced and innovative advice worker, to provide debt advice within the service.

This is a permanent, four-day per week post, with a flexible location (based in our London office, or working from home, or from a shared workspace) with a salary of £40,060 (£50,075 pro rata), with a London weighting of £5,775 if applicable, plus 8% into a pension that doesn't invest in the arms trade.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join the Connexional Team.

We are offering an interesting and varied opportunity to support the work of the Connexional Team and the wider Methodist Church. 

We are looking for someone who will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the core operational IT infrastructure, underpinning all services both internally and externally in a responsive and customer-focused manner.

You will advise members of the team on matters related to IT and resolve second and third-line tickets in line with the service level agreement. Assist with the maintenance, continuous improvement and administration of the team’s growing IT infrastructure. Deploy and maintain laptop, desktop and tablet security to ensure that IT service users can enjoy a safe and secure IT environment. Perform proactive maintenance of the infrastructure environment as required. Work to tight deadlines and provide high levels of technical support and compliance. 

Working alongside colleagues within the Infrastructure team, you will provide support services to approximately 250 office-based and remote users within the organisation.

About You

• Proven experience supporting enterprise infrastructure platforms and software, including but not limited to: Windows Server, Active Directory, Windows 11, Office 365 and MS 365, Backup, Monitoring/SNMP, SMTP/Exchange, Web Server/IIS, Dell Servers and storage, Printers/Papercut,
• Experience in server administration, database administration and application support.
• Experienced in IT support services and ticketing, as well as laptop and mobile phone support and networking configuration.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to communicate technical issues to all levels
• Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Customer service skills demonstrated through communication, knowledge, attention to detail and ability to get things done
• Strong organisational skills including planning, prioritising, timekeeping and managing busy workloads and ticketing systems working to prioritise.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
