This role is pivotal and will act as a bridge between strategy, insights and action.  Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation you will lead the design of our workforce planning approach.  You will ensure the organisation’s structure has the right people, skills and capacity to deliver its future ambitions.

This is a new role within the organisation; therefore, it is key that you can take the organisation on a cultural journey of embedding the workforce planning approach. You will also play a key role in our Business Planning process working collaboratively with colleagues and leaders across the organisation as we shape the organisation for the future.  

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and lead a workforce planning framework. 
• Identify future capability, capacity, and skills.
• Collaborate with People and Talent Business Partners to translate workforce planning into talent strategies.
• Support the development of career pathways and capability-building initiatives.
• Lead the utilisation of workforce data and analytics to inform planning, forecasting, and scenario modelling.
• Partner with senior leaders to embed workforce planning into annual business planning cycles.
• Act as a trusted expert, supporting leaders to understand workforce risks and opportunities.

You will have a depth and breadth of experience in workforce planning along with strong analytical and communication skills. As this role focuses on forward planning it is key that you can translate data and insight into meaningful and practical solutions. You will also need to apply an equity-based approach to ensure we continue to grow our diverse workforce.  However, it isn’t all about the data, you need to be confident and a credible expert who is able to engage and influence stakeholders on workforce planning and best practice.

East Anglian Air Ambulance is a regional charity that provides life-saving care across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond. With two state of the art helicopters and a fleet of rapid response vehicles taking our crew of critical care paramedics and doctors to the scene of the incident, to provide advanced pre-hospital emergency medical care (PHEM). 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Training and Volunteer Administrator to join our life-saving charity. 

About our Community Training Programme: 

Since 2018 East Anglian Air Ambulance has been delivering lifesaving Community CPR and Defibrillator training sessions to over 100,000+ children and adults, but we need to train more people to save more lives across East Anglia.  

Every year approximately 11,000 people suffer a cardiac arrest in the East of England. Around 70% of those who suffer a cardiac arrest receive any form of bystander CPR before the arrival of the ambulance service, however, less than 20% have a defibrillator deployed before emergency services arrive.   

The cardiac arrest survival rate in the UK is only around 9%, but if a defibrillator is used alongside effective CPR within the first 3-5 minutes, the chances of survival can increase between 40% - 70%. 

About the role: 

As Community Training and Volunteer Administrator, you will provide excellent administrative support to EAAA's Community Training and Volunteering Team, helping to coordinate our flagship Community CPR and Defibrillator Training programme for schools, community groups and organisations across East Anglia.

You will manage a busy training calendar and coordinate Community CPR Training bookings and enquiries, ensuring all participants and supporters receive the highest standards of customer service. You will also oversee the logistics of our training equipment, ensuring resources are available in the right place at the right time to support training delivery.

You will ensure all CPR and AED training sessions are accurately recorded on our volunteer management system and will support and guide new and existing CPR volunteers throughout their recruitment and onboarding journey.

To be successful in this role, you will have strong administrative and IT skills, experience of using CRM systems, and excellent communication skills. You will be confident engaging with a diverse range of people and committed to delivering an outstanding supporter experience.

This is a vital role in ensuring our training participants, volunteers and supporters have a positive experience with EAAA and our community training programmes. Ultimately, your work will contribute to improving outcomes for patients experiencing cardiac arrest across East Anglia and help save more lives.

The Role

The Role

You’ll work closely with foster carers and social work colleagues to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support and improve outcomes for children and young people. 

The Senior Admin Officer will be responsible for general administrative functions within the London & South East region and will report to the Administrative Manager.  In some instances, the Senior Admin Officer may be required to deputise for the Admin Manager in the post holder’s absence in relation to day to day matters.

The Senior Admin Officer will specialise in a particular area (s), such as Panels, statutory paperwork, minute-taking, training, and maintaining the in-house database (Charms).

Salary: £37,000 / €44,200 per annum, depending on location

Responsibilities

Research, Evaluation & Learning

Project Delivery: Delivery of research and evaluation projects, supporting the development of project plans, methodologies and data collection tools.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Own the analysis of quantitative, qualitative & SROI research data and contribute to the preparation of clear, engaging reports, dashboards and impact-focused case studies for clients and stakeholders.

Quality and Rigour: Apply high standards of accuracy and ethical practice across all project tasks. Proactively flag issues and contribute to continuous improvement of Bean’s processes and outputs.

Industry Knowledge: Stay informed with developments in evaluation methods, social impact frameworks and best practice. Bring relevant insights to the team to strengthen our collective approach and capabilities.

Working With Clients

Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with client teams. Act as the day-to-day point of contact, ensuring clear communication, responsiveness and a consistently high-quality client experience.

Candidate Profile
You are a careful, methodical evaluation or research professional who takes genuine pride in getting things right. You value clarity of task, high standards and seeing work through thoroughly, and you can translate findings clearly for clients who are not evaluators themselves.

Essential

Experience delivering evaluation or social research projects, including data collection, analysis and reporting across qualitative and quantitative methods.

Strong attention to detail and a clear commitment to accuracy, ethics and high-quality outputs.

Confidence supporting the design of evaluation frameworks, logic models or theories of change.

Excellent organisation and project-coordination skills, with the ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once.

Clear, accessible written and verbal communication, including turning data into engaging findings for non-specialist clients.

A collaborative, dependable approach: comfortable being the day-to-day point of contact and supporting colleagues and junior staff.

The right to work in the UK.

Desirable

Experience in the charity, funder or wider social impact sector.

This is a broad and varied position where no two days are the same. You will act as a trusted partner to the CEO, provide governance and board support, oversee key office operations, and contribute to people and culture activities. Charity People are looking for a capable, proactive generalist PA to CEO/ Office Manager with excellent organisational skills, sound judgement, and the ability to keep multiple workstreams moving forward.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will become a key point of coordination across the organisation, helping ensure that strategic priorities, governance requirements, and operational activities run smoothly. As a Floating Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting services where extra capacity is needed, working across different locations including Exeter, Somerset, Mendip, and Weymouth. • Give clients advice and information, providing an enabling service so that they can be signposted to, and access appropriate services.
• Maintain client records, so they are accurate and fully updated at all times.
