The role
We are looking for a Weekend Assistant to join our Hornsey shop team. You will help the shop run smoothly, provide an excellent experience for customers and donors, and support our fundraising targets. Purpose

This will be achieved through identifying, researching and cultivating individual donors, corporate supporters, trusts, foundations and strategic partners, using research tools and publicly available information to build and manage a strong portfolio of prospects, particularly those with an interest in supporting young people and communities.
To be successful, the postholder will develop an excellent understanding of The Hunslet Club, its mission and its inspirational youth and community work, and will help to develop and articulate a compelling case for support. The role will involve achieving a clearly defined set of Key Performance Indicators, providing high-quality stewardship to maximise donor retention, and maintaining, developing and leveraging existing relationships with current supporters. The postholder will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, including Executive/Senior Leadership and Trustees, to ensure effective involvement in fundraising activity where appropriate.
The successful candidate will organise suitable events and cultivation opportunities to build long-term relationships with potential supporters. Attendance at events, meetings and conferences will be required, with support from Executive/Senior Leadership and Trustees.
The successful candidate will also be expected to volunteer at a minimum of three cross-club community events per year and to carry out other reasonable duties as requested by the Executive Leadership Team.

About the role
As Complementary Therapies Lead, you will lead the delivery of high-quality complementary therapies to children, parents and families of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. This includes families affected by a child’s life-limiting condition, and families who experience the sudden and unexpected death of their child. The Complementary Therapies service includes individual treatments and therapeutic support groups, to help ease physical discomfort, reduce anxiety, and promote emotional wellbeing in a safe and nurturing environment.
About you
This role requires a minimum of two years post qualification experience as a Complementary Therapist practicing aromatherapy and holistic massage. You may have additional qualification in reflexology, Indian head massage, or acupuncture.
We are looking for someone with experience of working with individuals of different ages and those who have experienced trauma or significant mental health struggles You will be passionate about utilising the complementary therapies for easing a wide range of difficulties, including helping children with medical conditions, carers struggling with the emotional and physical difficulties that arise in caring for their life-limited child and families who have experienced the death of their child.
You must be registered with the Complementary and National Healthcare Council or other professional body (or able to apply and confirm membership ahead of appointment).

The Exempt Accommodation Support Service is an expanding project based at our main hub in Digbeth but providing outreach support across a number of locations in the city. We are looking for exempt accommodation workers to provide flexible, person-centred support to people aged 18 years plus who are homeless, have a history of homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless and who may have a history of substance misuse. It will primarily be supporting people living in exempt accommodation who have support needs relating to addiction and who are in active treatment or contemplating treatment.
The aims of this service are to provide additional support to improve access and sustainment of suitable accommodation for people engaging in structured drug and alcohol treatment, to reduce the scale of unmet housing need for this group of clients and to build evidence of housing-related need and effective interventions. The service will provide a range of practical support around finances, health and wellbeing, access to volunteering or training opportunities and integration into local communities as well as supporting continued engagement with treatment and tenancy sustainment.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) is a highly respected professional membership organisation with members in 165 countries, comprised primarily of clinicians who utilise and depend on ultrasound in all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology. The Role
Reporting to and working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead and manage ISUOG’s HR functions while ensuring our London office operates smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for HR and office matters, delivering excellent customer service to staff and stakeholders.
Key elements of the role include:
Human Resources
• Lead and manage HR strategies and initiatives
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and performance management
• Ensure HR policies, procedures, and employment practices are up to date and legally compliant
• Manage employee relations, learning and development, and HR administration
• Maintain accurate HR records in line with GDPR
• Office Management
• Manage day to day office operations, equipment, suppliers and logistics
• Oversee travel, IT coordination, telephone systems, mail, and building matters
• Maintain office efficiency and ensure high operational standards
Health & Safety
• Lead organisational health and safety compliance
• Ensure risk assessments, safety processes and mandatory training are up to date
• Reporting
• Develop HR and office related reporting to support organisational decision making
About You
You will have a strong generalist HR background, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, solutions focused approach. You’ll be comfortable working independently, supporting a diverse team, and managing sensitive issues with professionalism.
You will have:
• A good first degree in HR or related field and hold CIPD Level 5 or above
• Experience of providing HR guidance and support to a senior team
• Strong organisational and relationship building skills
• Knowledge of HR systems, up to date UK employment law regulations, GDPR and awareness of health and safety requirements
• Experience of office and HR administration

Job Summary
The Students Rights Adviser is an expert on the Durham University regulations that apply to students and provides a casework service of impartial advice to individuals and small groups of students to ensure that their rights are known and respected by the institution. The Student Voice team works closely with the Student Rights Adviser, ensuring that issues which have the potential to affect larger groups of students are anticipated understand and tackled, through student leaders providing support and guidance to volunteers and student communities.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
The Student Rights Adviser is responsible for students engaging with Durham University regulations having their rights known and respected, and will:
A. Maintain an excellent working knowledge of Durham University regulations that apply to students and contribute to the student interest to their development.
B. Offer an expert, impartial, ethical, casework service, and develop the systems and processes that sustain the casework service, with the Head of Student Community.
C. Create and share insight, resources, and opportunities, to reduce the risk of collective student rights being breached or other adverse outcomes for students.
D. Provide advice and make recommendations on policy development within their area of responsibility.to student leaders and volunteers, the Chief Executive, and the Board of Trustees.
E. Support and line manage a small team of student staff advisors to carry out casework.
The Student Rights Adviser is accountable for:
F. The provision of high-quality casework, and observation of all regulations relating to the service, including client care, records management, review and supervision, etc.
G. The currency and quality of all self-help resources promoted by Durham SU to students.
H. Maintaining Durham SU’s research, policy, and campaigns expertise, in the student rights framework and infrastructure.
I. Anticipating and responding to student leader and volunteer need.
J. Promoting the good reputation of students and Durham SU.

The ideal candidate
To be considered for this role, you should be able to:
- Support with the development of the annual marketing strategy to achieve fundraising targets and contractual service delivery requirements.
- Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of the overall marketing plan.

- Improve upon current social media activity with editorial calendar and content for social media networks including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, blogs and similar platforms.
