Youth Worker
Are you passionate about helping young people reach their full potential? YMCA St Helens is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Youth Worker to deliver engaging, high-quality youth work activities for young people aged 11-18, and up to 25 where appropriate.

You'll work directly with young people, delivering programmes that build confidence, improve wellbeing, develop skills and create positive opportunities. Activities may include sport, arts, music, digital media, mentoring and personal development.

We're looking for someone with:
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Youth Work qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with young people.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and youth work practice.
  • The flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Why join YMCA St Helens?
Join a values-driven organisation that believes in creating opportunities for young people to connect, grow and flourish. You'll be part of a supportive team making a genuine difference across the borough.

YMCA St Helens is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
