We are delighted to be working in partnership with Torch Trust for the Blind to find their new IT Support Officer.
Torch Trust for the Blind uplift and encourage individuals who are blind or partially sighted through their inclusive Christian ministry. For more than six decades, they've remained a steadfast beacon of spiritual support, offering accessible resources and nurturing deep connections. Through Torch Trust’s ministry, individuals can tap into Christian resources, sight-loss friendly churches and a spectrum of social gatherings that empower them to flourish and draw strength in their journey through sight loss.
Torch Trust for the Blind have an exciting opportunity to join their passionate and supportive team as their new IT Support Officer. In this role, you'll be the friendly point of contact for IT support. We're seeking someone with a genuine passion for installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components, ensuring smooth operations across computer and network systems. Your knack for problem-solving and dedication to helping others will shine as you research, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues, offering assistance via phone, in person, or electronically.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Knowledge of Windows 10, 11 and Windows Server operating systems
- Practical experience with internet and network security protocols
- Knowledge of website development and maintenance

Work setting: Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
Salary: between £27,011 and £32,524 per annum

TPP are recruiting a Compliance Standards Lead on behalf of our client, a highly respected awarding organisation dedicated to ensuring the safe and fair awarding of qualifications.
The Role:
As a Compliance Standards Lead, you will play an essential role in defining and establishing standards for assessment associates and centres. You will also collaborate with industry experts to create clear, comprehensive standards that reflect best practices and meet industry requirements.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of training and development plans for centres and associates.
- Provide accurate advice and support to ensure compliance with standards.
- Oversee compliance policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
- Monitor associate performance and implement performance management processes.
- Contribute to qualification development and approval processes.
Requirements:
- Experience of assessment or qualification development and review.
- Knowledge of awarding body and regulatory structures.
- Experience of external quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and prioritisation skills.
- High levels of personal organisation, diligence, and integrity.
Additional Information:
- This role requires travel between offices and nationally, so a driving licence is essential.
