Job description

Edinburgh Food Project runs seven foodbanks and an FCA accredited Money Advice Service.

We have joined with other foodbanks in the North East and South East of the city to expand the advice team and reach yet more people in crisis.

As part of this exciting and ambitious development, we are seeking a Senior Adviser who will support the new team of Welfare Rights Advisers while managing their own caseload and deputising for the Money Advice Service Manager.

This is a 2-year fixed-term contract at the heart of a forward-thinking organisation dedicated to ending the need for foodbanks. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of current legislation and best practice, and be looking to use their leadership skills as part of a busy team at the front line in the fight against poverty.

We are also recruiting for a Support Officer and four Welfare Rights Advisers. Full details of all the roles are detailed in the Recruitment Pack.
