I am currently recruiting an Interim Talent Acquisition Manager on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) for an established not-for-profit organisation based in East London. The role will pay £48,563 per year and will start in early August 2025. This role will involve hybrid working with at least 1 day per week in the office and the remainder working from home.

Reporting to the Head of People and managing 2 Recruitment Coordinators and a Recruitment Administrator, the successful candidate will come from an in-house recruitment background and understand how to manage internal recruitment processes, with experience of advising hiring managers on recruitment campaigns for roles across various industries, such as fundraising, digital, finance, safeguarding, volunteer management, project management etc.

Experience in the Charity sector would be advantageous and you will have experience of managing and motivating a team. You should have a track record of implementing initiatives to ensure an inclusive recruitment process from the start of a recruitment campaign to the onboarding process, and strategies to increase the diversity of candidate pools, as well as other candidate attracting methods.

You will need to have an understanding of legislation and external developments and how they impact the work of the Recruitment team. It would be ideal if you have experience of working alongside a HR team and understand the impact their work has on the work of the HR team. It would also be advantageous if you have experience of managing internal selection processes as part of organisational restructure programmes.

The Chartered College of Teaching is currently working on a number of exciting projects and therefore has multiple fixed term roles available to support our project work and business as usual.

As Learning Design and Assessment Manager you will play a key role in developing curriculum and content for our online courses, drawing on your experience and knowledge of teaching and learning to provide a coherent learning experience, ensuring that all content is of a very high quality and informed by the latest research and evidence. • design and develop assessments to support teacher certification and accreditation

The Brand Manager will play a crucial role in the planning, development and implementation of brand activity across the charity. The role is key to driving growth across brand, fundraising and engagement.

Working closely with the Senior Brand Manager and the wider Brand department, this role will put the Alzheimer’s Research UK brand at the heart of everything we do, business partnering across the organisation to embed the brand internally, maximise opportunities to amplify the brand, and drive brand consistency.

The Brand Manager will liaise across the whole organisation, working particularly closely with key contacts across Marketing and Fundraising, Communications and Policy.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Work closely with the Senior Brand Manager to develop and deliver the organisation-wide brand strategy, driving engagement across the charity.

· Act as an internal brand consultant across the organisation, collaborating with teams to amplify the brand and maximise brand opportunities.

· Lead brand input into integrated campaign moments across the charity, ensuring consistent look and feel and aligned messaging.

· Inspire and engage colleagues internally, delivering internal communications to ensure that the brand is alive, understood and actively developed.

· Drive forward planning to ensure that plans are co-ordinated, regularly reviewed, and the brand is measured effectively.

· Support the Senior Brand Manager and existing Brand Manager to deliver Alzheimer’s Research UK’s key brand campaigns.

· Work with the Insight team to track and evaluate brand health and the impact of brand campaign activity.

What we are looking for:

· Excellent experience in a brand role.

· Excellent experience of developing creative and applying a master brand to products, content and communications.

· Experience of leading multi-channel brand or marketing communications campaigns with a good knowledge of the full marketing mix.

· Experience of working with corporate partners to develop communications that amplify the brand.

· Proven experience in project planning, management and delivery.

· Experience of working with external creative agencies and freelancers.

· Strong experience of developing key messaging for individual products and campaigns.

· Experience of measuring and reporting on brand health and campaign performance.

About this job

It is a very exciting time to join the MS Society as Evidence Programme Lead. We are implementing an ambitious cross-organisational transformation programme. And we have just started a new 2025-29 strategy.

We’re looking for a person with strong social research skills who has the ability to lead our Evidence team. We’re looking for someone who can work collaboratively across the organisation to ensure we’re developing our evidence base to inform our work.

With extensive experience and knowledge of applied research, evaluation and data analysis, you’ll provide strategic leadership to design, develop and deliver a programme of evidence projects as well as managing a team of evidence officers, identifying gaps in our evidence and providing advice about how to fill them.

You’ll deliver internal projects and commission external research projects, working with colleagues in policy, press, campaigns and beyond to do so. Contributing to key internal working groups will be another key aspect of the role, as well as monitoring and responding to requests for evidence. And you’ll be committed to ensuring people with MS are involved in the design and delivery of evidence projects and to ensuring we seek views from people from a wide range of backgrounds.

The IT Systems & Security Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the IT strategy and operational plans which supports the charity’s vision, mission and objectives. 

This role will be responsible for ensuring that all IT services are successfully delivered across the charity by defining, creating and maintaining the IT environment including; the management of all technical systems, system upgrades, interfaces and customisations, infrastructure, applications, security and IT governance.  In addition, this role will identify opportunities to ensure the technology, systems and tools used are fully integrated and embedded throughout the charity, with a view to maximising performance, optimising efficiency and creating a sustainable platform for future growth.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Final point of escalation, extensive troubleshooting, provide guidance to IT Team

· Complete comprehensive troubleshooting of escalated tickets raised with the IT Department

· Document troubleshooting steps and progress and/or call closure details within the ticketing system

· Feedback to wider team on ticket trends or common issues occurring including potential security threats

· Line management of Systems Administrator

Administer ARUK Network

· Manage Day to day interactions with Manage Network MSP

· Management, administration and monitoring of ARUK Virtual IT environment

Working on IT Projects

What we are looking for:

· Relevant formal qualifications or relevant experience

· Extensive Knowledge and proven experience of managing the following - Windows operating systems, Microsoft SQL server, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Server, IT support principles, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, Mobile Device Management, Networks, System storage, IT documentation

· Extensive knowledge and awareness of: IT Security best practices, IT security solutions, IT security threats

· Exemplary leadership skills with both practical and short/long term strategic vision; ability to build relationships and inspire confidence and respect at all levels; strong team player

· Excellent communicator – able to build rapport and demonstrate strong influencing, negotiation skills and decision-making skills; excellent listening skills - receptive to feedback and demonstrates flexibility, curiosity and an ability to learn

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

The Role

Support the Finance Department by processing income to the HTB Group and processing the expenditure for one or more HTBG entity.

The majority of work is processing income to the HTB Group but a portion is dedicated to expenditure processing, giving the job holder valuable experience in both areas.

The Key Responsibilities

Income Controller – HTB Group

• Raising invoices, credit notes for all entities across HTB Group
• Recording sales and customer receipts
• Processing BACS, cash, cheque, and card payments for all entities
• Running Aged Debtors reports quarterly and sending balance sheet to all departments.
• Maintaining and updating customer accounts.
• Monitoring credit control
• Running quarterly internal audits to car park book receipts
• Download Bank Statement weekly.
• Processing Income Forms - Cash, Cheques, cards payments
• Processing weekly Carpark cash reports. Offering and Income.
• Processing occasional reimbursements of unauthorised expenses/expenditure from staff
• Investigating unknown bank transactions across all entities
• Recording banked cheques on weekly basis
• Being point of contact for all things income, liaising with event organisers and head of teams for income related queries.
• Income reconciliations each month for the different stripe and square accounts.

Purchase Ledger Controller for one or more of the HTBG entities

As we embark on an exciting 5-year strategy we are looking to recruit an experienced Individual Giving Manager to focus on the delivery of repeat giving. Developing our weekly lottery, raffles and regular giving products and the sustainable income they provide.

This will be a crucial role within the team and playing the lead role in promoting these forms of giving to a wide external audience. Ensuring that we increase our reach across all areas of our communities through all forms of communications and engagement.
