We work with clients to develop independence, choice and control, with the goal of enabling them to live independently in their own individual tenancy.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Delivering the KAP Tenancy Support services in accordance with the Service Specification agreed with KAP leadership and Funders.

• Promptly identifying which clients are likely to benefit most from services and providing tailored support to suit their needs.

• Spending time every week with clients to make assessments of their current circumstances and holistic needs.

• Supporting clients to secure and sustain move on accommodation: rent payments, utilities, neighbour disputes, budgeting, reporting repairs, dealing with correspondence etc.

• Providing a clear sign-posting service with referrals to relevant agencies and support services and building links with support organisations, such as Housing Associations, Social Services, drug and alcohol agencies.

• Facilitating access to general and specialist health care, as well as services such as education, leisure, cultural-specific services, employment opportunities, etc.

• Supporting clients in maximising and maintaining income.

• Ensuring that risk assessments, support plans and outcomes are flexible and made on an individual case-by-case basis.

• Liaising on clients’ behalf with others such as landlords, money and health services, and accommodation providers.

• Providing crisis intervention support including responding to risk such as eviction, anti-social behaviour, loss of amenities, etc.

Our project, Kempton: Clean Water for Life - reaching a wider audience, is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The Role

Role Purpose

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and motivated individual to join us in this newly created HR and Governance role at Dialogue Earth. We are seeking an organised and proactive person to provide day-to-day support across both functions, with around 70% of the role focused on HR. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, global environment while contributing to meaningful work.

The HR and governance officer will lead and manage the organisation’s human resources, governance, and compliance functions. They will ensure that HR function and practices are fair, legally compliant, and aligned with organisational values, and will support the Board of Trustees in fulfilling their governance responsibilities. This role combines operational HR management with oversight of governance processes, supporting a positive, inclusive, and legally compliant working environment.

Main Responsibilities

Human Resources:

● Coordinate recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions and contracts, applicant screening, supporting interviews and collecting references;
● Manage staff onboarding processes and induction material;
● Maintain and update HR policies, the staff handbook, and training records in consultation with the COO;
● Manage the HR system (Natural HR or equivalent) and ensure records are accurate and up to date;
● Manage EAP scheme, training, and benefits (e.g. Climate Perks, glasses benefit, Cycle to Work scheme);

About the role:

This role is based in the Victim Help Centre, in St Asaph, North Wales and working in liaison with North Wales Police and other relevant agencies.

• In this position you will contact Victims by telephone to undertake a comprehensive needs assessment and commission a range of services to support identified needs if appropriate. You will refer victims to partner agencies and contact approved suppliers to deliver services to victims. You will also direct referrals to appropriate colleagues to allocate Victim Support workers for further support.
• You will identify and manage the victims immediate service needs and contribute towards risk assessment processes and following agreed safe contact processes and recording all contact securely.

We are looking for a Housing Mobile Night Worker to provide floating support to our teams in high support 24-hour projects as well as medium support and transitional housing units to ensure that our properties are safe, secure, and welcoming through the night.

You will be based at Lansworth House and will support the static night worker there during the night as well as undertaking your mobile duties across Brighton, Hove and Worthing.

Working on site you will be responsible for ensuring the service is safe by keeping clear records of night time activity within the building. You will regularly complete building checks and monitor CCTV upkeeping health and safety regulations in accordance with YMCA DLG's policies and procedures.  You will work to prevent any anti-social behaviour from impacting our neighbours and other residents. You will work alongside other support staff to maximise the wellbeing of residents by completing one to one interventions with young people who may be experiencing mental health crisis and/or who may need medical assistance.

This is a mobile role, requiring all applicants to have a full valid, UK Driving Licence. You will also be lone working as part of the role, so you will need to be comfortable with decision making and following procedures.

What you’ll do

ShareAction’s Banking Standards team works towards holding financial institutions accountable for their impact on climate change. We have a history of campaigning on key aspects of banks’ climate strategies – such as their emission reduction targets or fossil fuel policies – and we are gradually expanding our work to include other sustainability themes and banking regulation. We have achieved significant wins, such as contributing to HSBC becoming the world’s largest bank to cease financing for new oil and gas fields, Barclays dramatically reducing its oil sands financing, and mobilising investors to call on Societe Generale to set a renewable energy target.

The team is structured around two main pillars: our campaigning and our research pillar. The research pillar ensures that the team’s campaigning and advocacy work is based on sound analysis and facts. The Senior Research Manager oversees the research pillar, currently composed of three more junior researchers. The Senior Research Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a research strategy that underpins campaign needs for analysis and insight in line with campaign timelines and available resources. You will oversee and contribute to the delivery of high-quality research outputs, including thematic reports, investor briefings, and surveys of Europe’s largest banks, and ensure that they are underpinned by clear and robust research methodologies. Alongside the Head of Banking Programme and the Senior Campaign Manager, you’ll act as an ambassador for the team in external forums, the media, and when meeting with and presenting to external stakeholders, including banks, civil society organisations, and investors.

What you’ll bring to the team

To be successful, you will:

• Have a good understanding of how banks work and how they can help address climate change, developed through experience working in or with banks.
• Be a strategic thinker.
• Have excellent project management and organisational skills, with a proven ability to autonomously manage research projects, allocate tasks, and handle multiple competing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Have extensive experience carrying out research and an ability to summarise complex issues and datasets for others in a clear and concise way.
• Have advanced Excel skills.
• Have experience managing a team of research professionals and/or providing direct line management support.
• Have a proven ability to handle relationships with multiple external stakeholders in the private and public sectors.
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to flex your style according to your audience.
• Be a collaborative team player who is comfortable receiving feedback and ideas from more junior staff, seeks opportunities to support colleagues and is willing to support other areas of work as needed.
• Be passionate about the issues ShareAction advocates for and be comfortable working in a campaigning environment.

It would also be great – but not essential – if you meet the following criteria:

• Experience in conducting surveys and/or carrying out qualitative or quantitative research on financial institutions.
• A good understanding of responsible investment.
• Experience integrating innovative tools and approaches into research processes, such as AI tools.
• Subject matter knowledge in climate change, biodiversity and/or human rights.
• Experience using the Salesforce CRM system and/or Cascade and/or Eikon.

We have a formal hybrid working policy in place, and the Banking team meets in the office every Tuesday for a team meeting and team lunch. We also aim to organise additional team-specific meetings on those days. We expect candidates who live in London to come to the office every Tuesday and those who live outside London to come to the office two Tuesdays a month.

We are looking for a proactive and passionate Learning and Development Advisor to lead on the review, implementation and ongoing evaluation and continuous improvement of the Leadership Development Programme. 

This role is full-time and is home-based with some travel throughout England and Wales as required.

The Role

This is an exciting role that requires a mixture of skills in relation to learning and development.  You will be focusing on leadership and management development across the organisation.  It will include the design and delivery of innovative learning interventions that support the development of leaders and managers.  Modern thinking and practice are essential for this role, as well as a good understanding of leadership and management development.

The L&D Team want to step away from ‘traditional’ and you will need to be creative, motivated, and brave, generating and implementing new ways of enhancing the leader’s development.  You will have scope and space to try new interventions, evaluate impact and make a difference to our overall organisational strategy.

• Use your creativity and ability to experiment in introducing innovative and modern learning practices across the organisation
• Design and deliver innovative learning interventions that support leadership and management development across the organisation.

• Create evaluation methods to measure changes in behaviour and performance across leaders and managers

It is essential to be able to work without direct supervision, prioritise work and deal with competing and conflicting demands in an organised and effective manner.  The post is for 37.5 hours per week and a degree of flexibility is necessary.  This role will work from home but will have moderate travel nationally across the organisation.

You’ll be the go-to person for all things finance, working closely with the Director of Finance and Operations. From processing day-to-day transactions to supporting annual audits, you’ll ensure their financial systems run smoothly and in line with best practice for charities. Your role will involve:

• Processing accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and timeliness.
• Preparing monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
• Managing staff expenses and ensuring policy compliance.
• Assisting with budgets, forecasts, VAT returns, Gift Aid claims and payroll.

• Tracking restricted and unrestricted funding streams to meet donor reporting requirements.

About you
You’ll bring at least two years’ experience in a financial role (ideally within a charity) and a working knowledge of VAT, Gift Aid and managing diverse funding streams. You’ll have:

• Great attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Confidence with Excel and ideally Xero.
• A knack for explaining financial matters clearly to non-finance colleagues.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach.

An AAT qualification (or equivalent) would be great, but what really matters is your ability to keep the finances watertight while sharing their passion for the mission.
