The Role

Part of the Technology team, this role involves the provision of systems support on a range of systems. This role supports the full range of Technology Support Desk duties, and you will be one of the first points of contact for all staff.

Your main duties will be responding to calls, recording and resolving issues and, where appropriate, allocating tasks to other team members; and maintaining the Society’s hardware and software. You will also provide technical guidance to other Technology Support Desk staff members.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience of:

· Working within an IT helpdesk environment PowerShell, Microsoft Online (365) and Exchange Online Management modules

· Migrating a business from on-premise to Microsoft Office 365 services

· Supporting and administering Microsoft Office 365 services, for example, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online and Defender

· Full device lifecycle management using Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Intune

· Packaging software and apps in Microsoft Intune

· Deploying devices using Windows Autopilot

· Deploy remediation scripts from cloud-based tools

· Replacing and troubleshooting computer hardware components

· Supporting and maintaining range of peripheral devices

· Acting as a senior within an IT support team, sharing knowledge and acting as an escalation point

· Working within a project team

With proven previous experience running complex and large database selections in a busy direct marketing environment, you'll have experience ensuring complex and high-volume data quality and accuracy. Your attention to detail and strong numeracy skills will enable you to deliver high-quality data management.

We now have the opportunity to provide a service at HMP Nottingham. Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
 
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.
 
This role will be prison based. We are now seeking an experienced and passionate Trust & Foundation Fundraising Manager on a 3-month fixed-term contract to take the lead on securing high-value grants that will make a real difference to ocean conservation. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape our trust and foundation strategy, develop new partnerships, and grow sustainable income to fund impactful projects around the world.

This can be based at any UK attraction or office, and we will consider full-time and part-time. Interview dates: 23rd and 24th June.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Drive the delivery of the SEA LIFE TRUST fundraising strategy by prioritising and expanding trust and foundation income streams.

• Build and manage a strong pipeline of trust and foundation prospects, focusing on multi-year and high-value funding opportunities.

• Write compelling, tailored cases for support and funding applications aligned to the objectives of each prospective funder.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing funders, ensuring outstanding stewardship through regular updates and impact reporting.

• Collaborate with colleagues across our sanctuaries and within Merlin Entertainments’ Conservation, Welfare & Education team to identify fundable projects and areas of need.

• Support forecasting and budgeting alongside the Senior Head of Global Fundraising & Partnerships, ensuring income targets are met or exceeded.

• Monitor, evaluate and adapt fundraising approaches to maximise success and impact.

• Develop robust reporting and tracking systems to manage fundraising activity and report progress to senior leadership.

• Occasionally represent the SEA LIFE TRUST at internal and external meetings, events, and donor briefings.

• Support other fundraising activities as required, including corporate sponsorship and partnership opportunities.

• A strong awareness of the SEA LIFE TRUST’s mission and a deep passion for protecting our oceans.

• Proven experience in securing high-value (5/6-figure) grants from trusts and foundations.

• A strategic, data-driven approach to fundraising with a focus on return on investment.

• Skilled in relationship-building, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers and tailor asks for diverse audiences.

• A confident and compelling communicator, particularly in written English, with an eye for detail and tone.

• Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting against income targets.

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This is a role where you’ll really see the difference you make.

As Educational Partnerships Manager, you’ll work across Dorset and South Coast of Hampshire, building partnerships with schools, colleges, youth organisations and community groups—particularly in areas where opportunities are hardest to come by.

You’ll be right in the mix: planning events, delivering programmes, supporting volunteers and connecting with school staff to make sure young people have access to our inspiring enterprise and financial education experiences.

You’ll be a key driver of our Inspiring Futures programme—helping young people break down barriers and imagine bigger futures.

A few practical things:

• This is a hands-on role—you’ll sometimes be lifting resources, setting up venues and travelling regularly (a car and full driving licence are essential)
• You’ll need to be happy occasionally working evenings or weekends during peak delivery times
• Expect to be on your feet during some events or sessions—it’s all part of the fun!

About You

You'll bring experience of developing insight-led supporter or customer journeys across digital channels. You'll be someone who naturally seeks to understand behaviour and motivations, and you'll be confident using CRM and digital tools to build automated journeys that feel anything but robotic.

A strong communicator, you'll have the ability to translate data into compelling, meaningful content strategies that deepen supporter loyalty and emotional connection. This role would suit a data-savvy communications professional who is as passionate about personalisation as they are about making a difference.

About the charity

Trinity and Brian House Hospice believe in focusing on the positives within palliative care, providing patients with relief from the symptoms, pain, and stress of a serious illness to improve quality of life for them and their loved ones. They do this through recognising that each person has individual needs and caters to these needs through offering their services in the hospice, the hospital, at home, or residential care home. They are looking for an Individual Giving Manager to support them to continue to achieve their mission of Enabling Compassionate Care on the Journey to End of Life.

About the role

The Individual Giving Manager will plan, deliver and evaluate an ambitious and effective Individual Giving development programme for in memory giving, individual donations, appeals, regular giving, raffles, lottery, and legacy marketing. You'll lead on the creation and implementation of the Individual Giving, Lottery and Legacy strategies to increase income and donor engagement. This role covers the hospice's largest income generating streams and the plan is to grow these further. There's loads of scope to do this; with their 40th Anniversary coming up and the fact you are working across both Trinity Hospice & Brian House there are so many new and innovative ways they can be connecting with donors.

You'll also lead, inspire and motivate a fantastic team and work closely with the Communications Manager to ensure case studies, photography, statistics and organisation information is effective and in line with the Hospice's brand guidelines.

About you

This role will suit a natural relationship builder with a track record of individual giving/legacy/lottery fundraising. You'll be a brilliant leader and team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. You'll be target-driven, comfortable and confident working with achievable KPIs and targets as well as supporting and developing your team to reach theirs.

We are looking for someone with creative flair, an expert communicator, with the ability to inspire action through creating effective appeal letters, emails, and newsletters. Someone who loves data and is keen to try new things, always scanning the horizon for innovative ways of working.

- Maintain a thorough understanding of risk management and safeguarding practices and procedures for adults and children.
- Keep your professional practice up to date with current policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Legion standards.
- Perform other duties related to the role as requested by your line manager or Head of Department/Divisions.
