Purpose of the Role
The Project Consultant will manage the delivery of the Legal Pro Bono Rwanda (LPBR) project in Rwanda, implemented by A4ID and funded by Clifford Chance Foundation. Working closely with the A4ID team in the UK and partner organisations in Rwanda, this role will ensure all project activities are delivered on time and on budget and in line with A4ID’s overarching strategy and specific strategy for Rwanda. You will also support any other ongoing projects in the region and will play an active role in fundraising to support activities and project development for Rwanda and broader A4ID activities. The Consultant will also work closely with A4ID’s regional office in Kenya. You will also be driving fundraising in the region.

About the role
As our Compliance Specialist, you will play a central role in ensuring that CIUK operates with integrity and confidence in a complex global environment. Reporting to the Risk and Internal Audit Manager, you will be the organisation’s lead expert on compliance — from charity law and fundraising regulations to data protection and anti-financial crime measures.
This is both a strategic and hands-on position. You will advise senior leaders and trustees on regulatory obligations while working closely with teams across the organisation to embed a proactive culture of compliance. Your work will span everything from guiding fundraising campaigns to meet regulatory standards, to coordinating due diligence on international partners, to leading the organisational response to compliance incidents.
You will also shape and strengthen our internal frameworks by overseeing whistleblowing processes, leading investigations, and ensuring that policies, training, and reporting mechanisms remain robust and effective. At the same time, you will monitor emerging regulatory developments so that CIUK is always prepared for change and positioned to meet new challenges with confidence. This is a varied, influential, and rewarding role that ensures we remain a trusted partner to donors, regulators, and communities worldwide.

WeSeeHope is a small international development organisation committed to creating sustainable change for vulnerable children in Southern and Eastern Africa. About you
You’re a hands-on IT leader with substantial experience in IT management or senior infrastructure roles, a strong track record in Azure migrations, and confident administration of Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online and Teams. Your technical grounding spans networking (TCP/DNS/DHCP), Windows client and server, virtualisation such as VMware vSphere, identity and access, endpoint patching, antivirus and data backup; PowerShell and ITIL familiarity are a plus. You’re able to communicate complex ideas, mentor a small team with empathy, manage suppliers astutely, stay calm under pressure, and are open to occasional international travel for projects.

You’ll run day-to-day IT operations while accelerating our cloud-first strategy—managing and optimising Azure, Microsoft 365 and Azure AD, and decommissioning legacy servers in a secure, well-governed way. The remit covers network resilience, backup and disaster recovery, MFA/SSPR and threat protection, along with knowledge management through SharePoint and our intranet. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll integrate and support core systems such as PeopleSoft, Raiser's Edge and People First, meet SLAs within our 08:00–18:00 UK support window, oversee suppliers for value, and contribute to GDPR compliance, risk management and pragmatic adoption of automation and AI.

Finance Manager | 9 Months FTC | London | £40,000 - £45,000 | Hybrid - London
For a leading global NGO, we're recruiting an Interim Finance Manager for 9 months. Supporting the Senior Finance Manager and Director of Finance and IT, the Interim Finance Manager will oversee the month-end processes, balance sheet and income reconciliations, VAT returns, and budgeting and reforecasting process. Supporting the UK Finance teams, this role will consolidate management accounts and budgets at group level and provide support and analysis to help decision-making.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparation and posting of monthly journals and assisting the Senior Finance Manager in preparing management accounts, and investigating variances
- Overseeing the monthly management accounting for central support functions, acting as their business partner
- Monthly income processing and reconciliations
- Maintaining records on restricted funding
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly bank reconciliations and maintain fixed asset register
- Processing BACS payments to suppliers and compile VAT returns for sign-off
- Project work to include updating the fixed asset register, reviewing and optimising month-end processes and procedures, updating the payment processes, act as Audit contact for submitting files on the audit portal, and updating the finance manual / finance training
What you'll offer:
- AAT qualified or part-qualified accountant
- Proven experience in management accounting and reconciliations
- Experience in an international development charity or NGO
- Strong experience of Excel, and ideally Unit4 / Agresso.
