Contract: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Chelsea, London – Hybrid working (with occasional travel to Sutton)

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity is seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Philanthropy Executive - Trusts to join its high-performing Philanthropy and Partnerships team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their trusts fundraising career and play a key role in helping one of the UK's leading cancer charities achieve its ambitious fundraising goals.
Working closely with the Trusts team, you will manage and grow a portfolio of trusts and foundations, build strong relationships with funders, identify new funding opportunities, and develop compelling applications to secure five-figure plus gifts and long-term support. You'll also work alongside clinicians, researchers and charity colleagues to bring transformational projects to life and demonstrate the impact of donor support.
To be successful as the Senior Philanthropy Executive, Trusts, you will need:

  • Experience identifying and researching trusts and foundations, including developing relationships with funders and key stakeholders.
  • A proven track record of creating persuasive funding applications and securing or stewarding five-figure donations from trusts and foundations.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into compelling donor-focused proposals.
