Salary: £52,839 per annum
Contract: Fixed-term (12 months)
Location: Battersea, London (Hybrid working with at least 50% office-based)

We are thrilled as always to be working with the wonderful team at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home as they look for a Trusts Lead, providing a exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading animal welfare charities and lead a high-performing team responsible for securing significant funding from trusts and foundations.
As part of this exciting role, you will lead Battersea's trusts fundraising strategy, managing a team of three and driving income growth from a portfolio of trust and foundation supporters. You will personally manage a selection of high-value relationships, including trusts capable of making six and seven-figure gifts, while overseeing pipeline development, budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will ensure a collaborative and strategic approach to trust fundraising, stewardship and income generation.
To be successful as the Trusts Lead, you will need:
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding trust and foundation income targets, including securing five and six-figure gifts and developing long-term funding relationships
- Experience of leading, motivating and developing high-performing fundraising teams
- Strong strategic, financial and relationship management skills, including experience managing substantial budgets, forecasts and KPIs, and working effectively with senior stakeholders
