About Furthering Talent
Furthering Talent helps musicians from the earliest stage in their musical journey. The programme is specifically designed to help young people from low income families sustain their musical learning after initial state-funded whole-class lessons end, so they can keep on progressing and playing music well into their teens and beyond. The programme aims to effect significant change in how the musical potential of young people from low-income families is identified and supported.
Place of work: Home-based and other locations as required. An ability to travel, often nationally, is essential to carry out this role. All reasonable travel expenses can be reclaimed.
The role
You will be the first point of contact and support for the team of Connectors in your Hubs, attending Teachers’ Forums and Get Togethers where possible and helping with the coordination of data gathering and management. You will help drive the promotion of the Connector role and handle any incoming Connector enquiries via the Young Sounds website, allocating them to the appropriate Connector. You will oversee the mentoring and youth voice offer in each Hub. You will be a champion for Young Sounds’ musically inclusive approach throughout the sector and will support the promotion of Young Sounds’ CPD and learning resources, especially the Charanga hosted Individual Learning Plan.

Role responsibilities
· Planning and delivering impactful public affairs activity: Supporting the development and delivery of public affairs plans for key projects, including high profile policy influencing campaigns, and planning and delivering engaging events in Parliament and at party conferences.
· Build support for the Trussell Trust’s policy influencing goals among UK parliamentarians and policy influencers who are part of Christian communities: Working closely with the Church Engagement team to identify opportunities to engage key audiences and effectively communicate our policy asks and strategic goal to end the need for food banks.
· Supporting a strategic approach to public affairs activity: Making effective use of public affairs systems and processes, including stakeholder mapping and horizon scanning for opportunities to engage, mobilise and work with key audiences, including UK Parliamentarians, UK Government Ministers and advisers, and assessing their impact.
· Building and managing strong relationships with key external stakeholders: Developing relationships, partnerships and networks to help raise the profile, credibility and influence of the Trussell Trust and our policy positions, particularly in the UK Parliament and with faith-based organisations.

Person Specification
Technical skills and minimum knowledge:

Role overview
The Partnership Manager will oversee and deliver account management across our mentoring partnership portfolio. This role involves managing the partner experience across a range of sectors, including higher education, the third sector, schools and corporate partnerships. The post-holder will be responsible for onboarding new partners, supporting them in developing their yearly mentoring plans, engaging in regular communications to ensure we’re on track with our deliverables, and renewing contracts annually. Success in this role will be measured by key performance indicators such as partner satisfaction, partner engagement and meeting renewal income targets.
Key responsibilities
- Onboard new partners and welcoming them to Brightside
- Complete annual mentoring project plans with all partners
- Provide account management for partners to ensure a positive experience
- Coordinate our partner engagement work (such as our partner forums and the partner satisfaction survey)
- Meet regularly with partners to monitor project deliverables and ensure we meet and surpass expectations
- Lead critical partnership meetings, including planning meetings, mid-point reviews and end of contract reviews
- Lead contracting and renewal discussions with partners to achieve renewal income targets
- Manage partner contracts and invoicing
- Lead the recruitment function for our London based mentoring project, working with schools to promote the opportunity to young people

We’re looking for a Research Manager who combines exceptional ability in research and report-writing, with a real passion for (and experience in) peacebuilding. We offer flexible hours and working from home, anywhere in the world. It will be vital that you have an excellent grasp of the context in the Central African region, which will require time spent there and, ideally, significant prior knowledge.
In the first months of the programme, the team will consult at least three thousand people, with a combination of key informant interviews, individual questionnaires and focus groups to build both quantitative and qualitative datasets.
This will add to a dataset of over ten thousand consultations over 6 years, so you’ll have a unique evidence base at your disposal. Job description
The Volunteer Coordinator roles are vital components of this project. We want to attract candidates from the East of England with sound local knowledge (who are able to travel around the area) both of which will be important parts of this job.
Purpose of the role:
- To be responsible for the development, coordination, and delivery of Neighbourhood Watch’s partner project involving Neighbourhood Watch volunteers within one of the regional areas.
- Delivering training to volunteers so they can deliver information sessions to community groups.
- Organising community events where information sessions are delivered by volunteers.
- Ensuring information sessions are delivered to the highest and consistent standards, and that feedback requests are acted upon swiftly.
Hours of employment are:
East of England 0.8FTE (28 hours per week)
12 month fixed term contract. Core hours are 10am-12pm and 2-4pm with an unpaid lunch break.

We’re a 100% remote-working charity, so you’ll need to be comfortable and effective working from home. The whole team meets up four times a year for in-person team meetings (in London and other locations around the UK). The For Baby’s Sake Trust seeks to appoint a Deputy Director of Operations. The Deputy Director will work with the Director of Operations to lead programme development and delivery across the Trust. As the Deputy Director, you'll manage Regional Team Managers, ensure the consistent and robust delivery of the For Baby’s Sake programme and other services across all sites, and collaborate with delivery partners. You'll also be key in promoting our work, identifying new partners and delivery sites, and leading the Parent Advisory Group and its related activities.
This is a full-time role, reporting to the Director of Operations. It's a permanent position with a salary of £60,000 and offers the flexibility of working from home, with occasional travel as needed.

Elrha is a global organisation that finds solutions to complex humanitarian problems through research and innovation. We are looking to recruit an Innovation Manager for Elrha’s Humanitarian Innovation Programme (HIF) to work within our Scaling of Innovation area of focus.
Do you have good grasp of design and delivery of innovation concepts, tools and approaches? Do you have good technical knowledge of scaling within humanitarian settings? Are you looking to develop your expertise and a respected profile in humanitarian innovation?
We have an opportunity to join us as an Innovation Manager (‘Scaling of Innovation’ focus) on a Fixed-Term contract for 12 months, ideally to start as soon as possible. Our ‘remote-first’ working practices mean our employees can be based anywhere within the UK with the opportunity for monthly connection with colleagues at our London office. We can consider different working patterns, part time hours or secondments as appropriate.
In this role you will have the opportunity to manage the design and delivery of scaling of innovation processes from identifying the most pressing humanitarian problems, analysing opportunities for scaling viable innovation, working with sector experts to investigate solutions and designing funding calls (scaling innovation challenges) to address them.
Your application will need to demonstrate:
- Experience in leading the design and delivery of work to drive innovation, including problem or opportunity identification and support for the development of solutions.
- Technical knowledge and experience of working in the area of scaling of innovation for impact, ideally in a humanitarian context.
- An understanding of project and/or grant management including procurement of service providers and management of consultancy contracts to support the HIF’s work.
- Excellent facilitation skills (both online and in person), particularly of interactive and accessible workshops, with the ability to bring new ideas to fruition.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships and networks with diverse stakeholders, specifically within the field of scaling.

About the role
You’ll build relationships to influence improvement in care and support NHS services across Wales. You’ll work alongside Parkinson’s Nurses, Consultants, Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) and Service Managers to support the development of Parkinson’s services in a way that reflects the things that matter most to people with Parkinson’s. You’ll also work with NHS staff and Parkinson’s UK colleagues to monitor and respond to threats to Parkinson's services and effect positive change to address them.
You’ll use your quality improvement expertise to support health & care professionals with change projects and programmes, equipping them with the latest tools, resources, evidence and data to develop and improve services for people with Parkinson’s.
Finally, you’ll support a vibrant network of healthcare professionals across Wales via the Parkinson’s Excellence Network to share best practice, provide resources and education and drive improvements to services for people with Parkinson’s and their families.
What you’ll do:

Support health and care service redesign and improvement projects in collaboration with clinicians, Parkinson’s UK staff and people living with Parkinson’s, drawing on the principles of co-production.

Support NHS professionals to develop and implement service improvement plans, using the results of the 2022 UK Parkinson’s Audit as a lever.

Promote the funding opportunities available via the Parkinson’s Excellence Network and provide support where appropriate to the development of business cases and grant applications from NHS teams across Wales.

Respond to threats to services in collaboration with the Wales Team, the UK-wide Service Improvement and Grants Team, people affected by Parkinson’s and health and care professionals.
What you’ll bring:

Experience and expertise in service redesign and effecting change within health and / or social care.

Knowledge of NHS and social care structures in Wales.

Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and manage constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, particularly Parkinson’s Nurses, Consultants, Allied Health Professionals and Service Managers.

Ability to negotiate and influence with strong report writing and presentation skills.

Experience in the use of quality improvement and project management tools.

Ability to work collaboratively with people with Parkinson's, their care partners and health and social care professionals. Experience of co-production is desirable.

Ability to analyse data and evidence to support service improvement and the development of business cases.
There will be a two-stage recruitment process for this role:

Stage one will take the form of a presentation-based task. Candidates will be asked to deliver a 10 minute presentation on a specific topic. Following the presentation, candidates will take part in a Q+A session with the panel. This will be held via Zoom.

Stage two will be a 45 minute interview. This will be held in-person in Cardiff.
