About the Role

As a Bank Support Worker, you'll work flexibly to provide ad hoc cover in the absence of permanent staff across a range of accommodation services. You'll ensure the safety, wellbeing and positive progression of young people by offering practical and emotional support, housing management, and administrative duties.

Whether it’s a one-off shift or regular cover, you’ll be a vital part of a dedicated team helping young people move towards independence and a positive future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the service is welcoming, safe and well-managed, adhering to safeguarding and health & safety protocols.

We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced and motivated individuals to join the UK Legal and Arrivals Team in its invaluable and ground-breaking work to ensure that safe routes to sanctuary exist and are accessible for all people seeking asylum.

As an Immigration Lawyer/ Immigration Caseworker Supervisor in the UK Legal Team, you will run a caseload of complex family reunion entry clearance applications and appeals, you will also supervise cases of colleagues and pro bono solicitors and volunteers, if appropriate. You will be supported by colleagues in the UK Legal team and work in close collaboration with colleagues in SPI France and Greece as well as with professionals in relevant external organisations.

You will be determined and committed to delivery high quality legal casework supporting asylum seeking children to reunite with family members in the UK. You will be attentive to detail, flexible, efficient and able to work independently and under supervision as part of a small and dynamic team. You will be eager to contribute to the overall missions and values of Safe Passage International and to work collaboratively with other teams in this international and multi-disciplinary organisation.

Your Role

As Head of Harm Reduction and Engagement, you’ll lead our Drug & Alcohol Support Hub (DASH) service, detached outreach provision and youth justice support – while driving innovation in youth empowerment, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), and new service models. You’ll be our subject expert in harm reduction, criminal justice, and engagement with vulnerable and marginalised young people.

You’ll play a key role as part of our Senior Management Team, and lead a passionate, experienced team delivering critical services to young people across Southampton and Hampshire. You will also lead on maintaining strong strategic partnerships, including with our substance use lead provider, Change Grow Live.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Refuge as a domestic abuse refuge worker, providing high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in our refuge accommodation in Warwickshire.

The post holder will work closely with survivors from the point of crisis and admission to the refuge, through to move on from the emergency accommodation. About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join IRMO as our Youth Project Coordinator and lead the Latin American Youth Forum (LAYF) – IRMO’s youth-led group for migrant and refugee young people aged 13–19.

LAYF offers a safe, supportive and trilingual space (Spanish, Portuguese and English) where young people can overcome barriers and begin to find their feet in the UK. Activities are designed to build confidence, support integration and foster leadership. Through the programme, participants can learn English through fun and engaging ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes, take part in weekly educational, arts-based and themed workshops, and receive one-to-one support through a targeted coaching programme focused on education, volunteering and employment.

Young people also have the opportunity to join the LAYF Youth Steering Group, where they can develop leadership skills and inspire other Spanish and Portuguese-speaking young people, while exploring London and beyond through cultural trips and residentials.

As Youth Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for registering and onboarding new participants, designing and delivering a creative weekly programme of LAYF Space Workshops, and offering one-to-one mentoring to help young people access opportunities and build confidence. Swindon Food Collective is an independent charity that aims to help people in Swindon, or the surrounding area, who are suffering from financial hardship and finding it difficult to provide food for themselves, their family or dependents.

They receive donations of non-perishable, tinned or dried food and toiletries from churches, schools, local companies, community groups, supermarkets and individuals and currently feed nearly 10,000 people per year. One third of these are children.

They work with many approved organisations, schools, doctors and social workers who can refer people in crisis to us. As well as providing food to address food poverty, they also provide a friendly chat and try to signpost people for further help. Indeed, it is this ‘signposting’ or working with people to enable them to enhance their lives where they see their services evolving. Swindon Food Collective are also reviewing how they can best utilise short-life foods. They operate from a central warehouse and have 11 distribution centres around Swindon and surrounding areas where food can be collected.

The charity is financially sound and has the resources to develop their service offering. They have recently hired a Finance Manager, created a new post as Business Strategy Manager and are also out to market to appoint a Chief Executive Officer. The role

Due to an internal move, Swindon Food Collective are seeking to appoint a new Operations Manager who will ensure they are meeting the demand for their services, providing help and support to people in crisis in the local community and positively supporting all staff and volunteers in their different roles.

This role oversees logistics, streamlining of processes, and optimises resource allocation to meet the needs of the community while minimising waste and is the linchpin that keeps the food bank service running smoothly and effectively.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the charity’s logistics, including stock management and movement, handling incoming donations, purchasing, storage and distribution of food and other resources.
- Day-to-day management of all operational employees and volunteers, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Lead and inspire staff and volunteers and evaluate operations and ways of working to identify areas of improvement and efficiency.
- Provide line management to the operational teams, including monitoring standards, performance, the prioritisation of workloads, and conducting meetings with staff and volunteers, as necessary.
- Manage health and safety within all premises and for all company equipment, including company vehicles, as well as adherence to all policies and procedures, ensuring these policies are up-to-date and reviewed regularly, working in partnership with leased premises landlords and Distribution Centre Managers
- Develop standards and maintain the quality of the services the charity provides.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the service to ensure quality and technical standards are met.
- Establish new services within the business plan.

You

Your background is not important. What is important is your ambition to address food poverty in the Swindon region and support the population.

You will be an experienced Assistant or General Manager / Deputy COO or COO with experience in day-to-day operational management, staff management, ideally in an environment where H&S is important.

As well as having a passion for the mission of Swindon Food Collective and making a positive impact through community-based projects, you will be/have:

• experience in day-to-day management in one or more of supply chain logistics, distribution, retail, charity/not-for-profit or community service provider of a diverse operational workforce, ideally, both paid employees and volunteers, with strong leadership and team-building skills.
• exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and inspiring both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• have experience of staff management and supervision.
• a problem solver; managing crises, complaints or issues affecting the service.

Community Project Lead 

• Two-year fixed term, full-time (35 hours per week) or part-time (minimum 21 hours per week considered), £28,000 – £32,000 per annum depending on experience (pro rata if part-time)

IPSEA is the leading charity in the field of SEND law in England, and we provide free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND. We also provide training on the SEND legal framework, and we influence policy at both a local and national level.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Community Project Lead to join our team and lead the development of our advice services for under-served communities. This two-year, fixed-term role is a key part of our strategy to reach groups who may not traditionally engage with IPSEA’s support - including children and families with English as an additional language, cared-for children (children in care), migrant children, detained children, and Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.

The project builds on a detailed scoping exercise we’ve recently completed, which involved working closely with a wide range of charities and organisations that support these communities. The resulting report outlines the barriers they face, and will form the foundation for this project and directly inform the work you will lead.

What you’ll do 

• Design and develop pilot advice services that are tailored to the needs of under-served communities, using findings from IPSEA’s research 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, charities and service providers to co-produce accessible services 

• Collaborate with IPSEA’s advice, legal and policy teams to address the barriers these communities face in accessing SEND legal advice 

• Contribute to and share outreach materials, training resources and toolkits to support families of under-served communities and empower local advocates 

• Plan and lead workshops, focus groups and community events to raise awareness, gather feedback and enhance service delivery 

• Monitor and report on project outcomes and impact, providing regular updates to IPSEA staff and stakeholders 

You can work remotely or from IPSEA’s office in Takeley, with frequent travel required for essential meetings and community engagement.

About the Role

Carriers of Hope is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to lead the logistics and practical support side of our work. This is a key leadership role, responsible for making sure that essential donated goods—food, clothing, furniture, and baby items—are received, organised, and distributed efficiently to the refugee and migrant families we support across Coventry.

You’ll oversee multiple projects, manage a committed team of staff and volunteers, and help shape the systems that make our work possible. From running our warehouse and coordinating van deliveries, to leading the House to Home furniture scheme, this is a hands-on, people-focused role with real impact.

We're looking for someone who brings strong coordination and problem-solving skills, has experience in logistics or operations, and is confident leading a team in a fast-moving environment. You’ll also play a key role in embedding sustainability into everything we do. A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
