The communications lead will be working closely with our CEO and external partners and will be responsible for planning and executing communications campaigns to meet our annual engagement and income targets.

• Understanding of public fundraising campaigns and how to use digital storytelling to drive donations.

• Proficient in social media management tools, analytics (Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, LinkedIn). Able to quickly post updates and announcements during live events and fundraising periods.

The Role

This is an exciting and varied role that will draw on your experience in areas such as communications, project management, research, event planning and administration.

As an International Policy Assistant at the Law Society, you will play an important role in undertaking research and monitoring international developments affecting solicitors' international practice, with a particular focus on Europe and the Americas.

Job Summary

Advance delivers nationally accredited, high quality domestic abuse services across London. Advance's domestic abuse services are community based and include local authority commissioned advocacy services, co-located projects in a range of settings such as housing and children’s social care, and specialist projects for victim/survivors with different intersecting needs including children and young people.

As a Peripatetic Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA), you will provide front line support across Advance’s domestic abuse services, covering vacancies across teams to ensure service delivery remains effective and consistent. You will cover a range of roles all involving advocacy and support of people experiencing domestic abuse; some roles may also involve co-locating with partner agencies, delivering training or undertaking triage and assessment work. Your office location and pattern of work will change depending on your placement however all roles offer the opportunity for some hybrid working.

As an experienced domestic violence advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, the post holder will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic violence, of supporting women with child safeguarding, needs, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

Programme and Operations Assistants are the backbone of the day-to-day running of NEON. The purpose of this role  is to ensure Comms Hub operations run smoothly and that the wider org has a dynamic online presence.

About the Role

We're looking for a Therapy Manager to join the team. Leading a team of trauma-informed therapists while delivering trauma-informed therapeutic services. We are a dynamic service with a holistic service model, so the senior role is supporting wider than just direct delivery.

You will work closely with our community development team and criminal justice teams to ensure survivors have access to the right support. With the Government expected to publish a White Paper that could significantly alter the SEND legal landscape, IPSEA is undertaking two major campaigns: one to protect existing legal rights, and another to make SEN Support a legal requirement.

IPSEA is co-leading the Save Our Children’s Rights (SOCR) campaign alongside Special Needs Jungle, Learning Disability Today, SEND National Crisis, SOS!SEN, SEND Rights Alliance and others committed to defending children's rights. This campaign was launched in response to reports that the government is considering reforms that could weaken the legal rights of children and young people with SEND; particularly the right to an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan in mainstream schools. It calls on the Government to retain the current legal framework, ensure the SEND system is properly funded and accountable, and avoid any rollback of statutory protections.

In parallel, IPSEA is working in partnership with the charity Contact to advocate for placing SEN Support on a statutory footing. Currently, schools have limited legal obligations to support pupils with SEN who do not have an EHC plan.

This campaign seeks to establish stronger, enforceable duties on schools to provide SEN support, alongside increased investment, so that more children can have their needs met without requiring an EHC plan

Consequently, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Campaigns Manager to coordinate this work - working with our IPSEA teams, amplifying our voice, and supporting our fundraising efforts during this critical period. The Campaigns Manager will play a key role in driving forward this initiative, engaging stakeholders, mobilising public support, and influencing policy outcomes.

Who are we looking for?

You’ll need substantial experience in planning and delivering successful high-profile campaigns, managing campaign budgets and evaluating impact. With strong project management skills, you’ll be able to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. You’ll also have an in-depth understanding of public affairs, media relations and/or fundraising campaigns in the charity or not-for-profit sector. Using digital tools and platforms for campaigning and supporter engagement, you’ll be able to translate complex issues into accessible messages.

IPSEA should also reflect the communities we support. We would particularly like to hear from candidates from ethnic minority backgrounds, LGBTQIA+ people, under-served communities and disabled people, as well as those with lived experience of the SEND system, either as a child or as a parent/carer.

We are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join our dynamic, ambitious team.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have:

-Part-qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA (ICAEW), etc.) and actively studying

-Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse and interpret significant amounts of financial data

-Highly IT literate and experienced at using multiple software tools, including Microsoft Excel

-Charity sector experience desirable
