About the role 

This role is an integral part of the Scottish Empty Homes Partnership (SEHP) team. The key responsibility will be to manage contracts and relationships across the councils that have received funding for additional Empty Homes Officers (EHOs) to bring empty homes back into use at scale. You will work closely with the existing Partnership Officer role that focuses on providing support to the existing network of EHOs.

Role specifics 

As Partnerships Coordinator, you’ll take the lead in managing new contracts with councils, meeting with key stakeholders to agree terms and supporting the development of detailed project plans with clear milestones. You’ll chair regular advisory group meetings to monitor progress, identify and address any emerging issues, and work collaboratively with councils to find solutions. Promoting the role and impact of Empty Homes Officers will be central to your work, as will providing hands-on support through best practice sessions and tailored training, developed in partnership with the SEHP team.

To succeed, you’ll need strong experience in stakeholder and project management, confidence in delivering CPD and training, and the ability to build productive, trusted relationships. A proactive, solutions-focused approach is essential, as is a solid understanding of Scotland’s housing policy landscape—experience with empty homes work or local authority systems will be a distinct advantage.

About the team 

The Scottish Empty Homes Partnership Team are made up of 10 staff members. Led by our National Manager, we have a Communications, Policy and Projects branch of the team. This role falls within the Projects team.

The Scottish Empty Homes Partnership is funded by the Scottish Government and works to four overarching outcomes to bring privately owned empty homes back into use:

1. Strategy: A strategic approach to bringing empty homes back into use is adopted across the country, enabling better targeting of resources and tracking of progress to bring more empty homes back into use.
2. Capacity: Local authorities, and other organisations with a focus on housing delivery, are able to evidence the benefits of employing dedicated empty homes officers.
3. Skills Empty homes officers undertake continuous professional development, and new officers receive consistent training to ensure they are fully equipped to undertake the role, leading to improved delivery.
4. Advice: More empty homes are delivered back into use through clear, consistent advice and support to empty homeowners and anyone else impacted by empty homes.

About the team 

Shelter’s multi award-winning in-house creative team (In-House Agency of the Year, 2025 Drum Awards) has an impressive track record of fighting homelessness and the housing emergency through sector-leading creative content. In leading this team, this role will collaborate closely with our Planning Lead, Copy Lead and two Creative Leads to inspire and support a talented cross-organisational team of writers, designers, videographers, photographers and other creatives.

We are recruiting a Digital Fundraising Assistant to assist in the delivery of our growing virtual events programme. 

This is an exciting new role which involves supporting delivery of a wide range of virtual events at Sands, in order to grow our fundraising income.  The role includes increasing Sands’ online presence across a range of channels through excellent stewardship of large audiences who are both warm and new supporters. 

You will ensure delivery of a world class supporter experience using an omnichannel approach, helping our supporters reach and exceed their fundraising targets.

Working with the Digital Fundraising Manager, you will monitor the everchanging virtual challenge environment and consider how best to adapt our activities in order to achieve financial targets and remain innovative and a leader within the sector.

You will have strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships, especially within online communities. Additionally, you will have an understanding of a wide range of social media channels and an interest in creating refreshing, inspiring content.

A highly organised and efficient approach is essential in order to respond to large quantities of enquiries across multiple channels. Excellent written communication skills are therefore essential.

Relevant experience in creating engaging video, image and written content for different social channels is also an essential requirement.

This post is home-based. There may be the need to support Sands events at weekends and/or evenings and working hours can be adjusted accordingly.

About the Role

This new and exciting role combines service delivery, strategic leadership, and community partnership building. As our Women’s Homelessness Lead, you’ll:

• Provide personalised, trauma-informed keyworking to a small caseload of women, empowering them to achieve personal goals and move toward independence.

• Develop strong partnerships with churches, local charities, housing providers, and funders to create wrap-around support for residents.

• Design and refine the service model, ensuring it remains co-produced, high-quality, and responsive to the unique needs of homeless women.

• Lead housing management and safety protocols, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

• Represent Keychange in the wider community, promoting our mission and developing opportunities for future service delivery.

 Essential Criteria

• Substantial experience supporting women experiencing homelessness or disadvantage

• Deep understanding of the unique challenges homeless women face

• Proven ability to build partnerships with churches, charities, and local authorities

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong understanding of church networks and Christian community engagement

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in accommodation-based service delivery

• Existing relationships with VCSE organisations or churches in Exeter

Stigma and discrimination mean many people with leprosy hide their symptoms for as long as possible, living in terrible fear of what will happen to them. But without fast treatment, leprosy can cause blindness and disable hands and feet. Rejection, isolation, hopelessness. We believe that this is not how God wants people to live. We are looking for an inspirational communicator to be the face of The Leprosy Mission. You’ll be working from home, with extensive travel across your region.
