We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated locally based individual to take forward our strategy. This person will lead the work of the Cyclox infrastructure; increase Cyclox membership, ensure we are compliant and work closely with our Campaigns Lead which will include research, input into campaigns, fundraising applications and perform other administrative functions. We are looking for someone who is very flexible and can work work with a wide range of stakeholders. Ideally we would prefer one person but please indicate if you would prefer to do this as a job share.

Job Purpose
This role plays a key part in the delivery of Operation Smile UK’s retention programme, generating income and retaining existing cash and regular giving donors. The Giving Engagement Officer (Retention) will support the Giving Engagement Manager to implement multi-channel (mail, telemarketing, web and email) donor retention campaigns, ensuring timely delivery, creative accuracy, and effective stakeholder coordination.
You will be responsible for managing campaign schedules, supporting the creative and data processes, and ensuring delivery partners are aligned. Key Responsibilities
Campaign Delivery & Coordination
· Deliver cultivation and retention campaigns, setting up and developing schedules in Asana and coordinating all required stakeholders.
· Manage timelines to ensure all activity is delivered on time and to plan.
· Compile campaign costs and track expenditure against budgets, flagging issues as they arise.
Creative, Data & Fulfilment Management
- Develop campaign briefs for creative, data output, print and fulfilment for review by internal teams and suppliers.
- Manage the creative sign-off process: collate feedback from stakeholders and ensure briefing accuracy to suppliers.
- Proof all campaign materials to maintain brand integrity and accuracy.
Digital & Email Communications
- Support the development of donor emails in line with agreed campaign structures.
- Coordinate the production and scheduling of email content in collaboration with the communications and data and tech team.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Compile campaign results for analysis and provide reports to inform future activity.
- Work closely with data teams to ensure appropriate segmentation and tracking.
Donor Stewardship
- Support the thank-you process, including personalising and developing donor thank-you cards as required.
- Contribute to improving supporter journeys and experiences through campaign touchpoints, especially for regular givers.

Job Summary
As part of a wider Mission and Ministry Team, the Mission and Discipleship Trainer will equip and support lay ministers and all interested learners in their theological understanding, spiritual growth, and practical ministry skills. They will contribute to the teaching and worship life of the diocese, engaging with a breadth of Anglican traditions.There are three key aspects of the responsibilities in this role.
- The first is, in communication with the Mission and Discipleship Enabler, to develop more contextual and locally based training contexts for existing and emerging learning and training programmes to facilitate more accessibility for parishes and benefices for which the diocesan offices are less accessible. This will involve working with strategic places identified in the South, Southwest, and North of the diocese to implement the vision to establish ‘satellite’ training centres. Initially this will focus on BPP (Bishop’s Permission to Preach); BCM programmes (Bishop’s Commission for Mission); and introductory theology and discipleship programmes.
- The second is promoting discipleship and ministerial training through networking and intentional communications to accelerate efforts being made to equip a broader demographic of Christians with leadership skills in view of the diocesan and national Church of England vision and values to become ‘younger and more diverse’. This will involve working collaboratively with the Mission and Discipleship Enabler, the Young Vocations Team (team under development), and the Racial Justice Advisor, alongside other team members and also work with clergy to understand specific contexts of training needs arising. Success in promotions and ‘recruitment’ of more diverse Christians will require working with the COMs team to support effective use of social media to target younger audiences, facilitate fast updates of events, and identify opportunities for story sharing.
- Thirdly, there is a responsibility to oversee, grow, and develop the network of Children, Youth and Families ministers/workers. This will include responsibility for organising, hosting and, where appropriate, delivering training at these events, and overseeing the BCM in Children, Youth and Families work. Part of the work will also be to support specific CYF workers including, where helpful, visiting them on site to encourage and advise them in their work and put them in communication with the network for mutual ongoing support. It will involve keeping up to date with the national initiatives for CYF to facilitate a connected approach. An important development in this aspect of the role will be to help implement a vision for more collaborative work with the Education Team to promote and help facilitate close working between churches and schools across the diocese.
Key role requirements:
This is an office-based role, with the expectation to work for 2-3 days per week from home. The role will involve travel across the diocese, with occasional evening and weekend commitments.
About you: We are seeking someone who can demonstrate the following background and experience:
- A BA (Hons) or equivalent in theology is essential. An MA or higher degree in theology is desirable. Excellent level of English both spoken and written.
- Demonstrated success in training, and supporting volunteer teams is essential.
- Experience in developing and maintaining digital learning environments and online resources is essential.
- Track record of evaluating learning outcomes and adapting training approaches based on participant feedback.
- Experience in teaching theology and facilitating worship across diverse Anglican traditions.

Well House is a crisis house supported accommodation service that supports individuals for between 14 and 28 days as an alternative to requiring hospital admission for their mental health needs. The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure members of the local community are able to access critical mental health support at all hours. The service receives referrals primarily from a local hospital emergency department and crisis lines, and may receive these referrals at anytime of day or night.

is a 29-bed medium-low supported accommodation for young people between the ages of 16-25 that is staffed 24/7. We adopt a trauma informed and psychologically informed approach to supporting our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and work towards aspirations so that they can move on to enjoy fully independent futures. We have a dedicated team of Support Workers, Night Support Workers and additional Bank Workers who provide support, guidance, and signposting around areas such as housing, budgeting, living skills, jobs and relationship building. Situated in the centre of Worthing, the project has strong links with and contributes to the local community.
In delivering the role, you will report to the Supported Housing Manager and be responsible for:
Service Provision: Supporting the Supported Housing Manager with the daily operations of the services so that they meet the requirements of the service specification including compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) and Ofsted regulations. Oversee the residents’ referral, interview and induction processes for all beds and ensure the Occupancy Agreements and House Rules are fully understood. Ensure the quality of accommodation that is provided, liaising with the Housing and Property Services team to complete estate inspections and health and safety risk assessments, and to turn around voids and organise repairs in line with organisational targets and statutory obligations. With the Supported Housing Manager ensure effective income collection for all beds, working closely with the Rents team to create a rent payment culture.
Leadership and People Management: Directly line manage team members, ensuring their service delivery, working culture and personal development mirror best practice. Ensuring the team is adequately trained and empowered to work effectively and creatively with our young people to enable them to achieve their aspirations and ambitions, whilst ensuring they are supported within safe and consistent boundaries.
General: Be a member of the ‘on call’ rota to provide out of hours management support to projects in the wider locality. Reflect Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma Informed approaches and restorative practices.

You will have good communication and facilitation skills and the ability to successfully manage challenging situations whilst remaining calm and solution focused. In addition, you will have experience of overseeing safeguarding procedures for young people or adults at risk in residential settings, and knowledge of how to maintain professional boundaries.

Our residential support workers provide care and support for 5 individuals with learning and physical disabilities, and other needs to enjoy an excellent quality of life in this residential care home. The service is located 10 minutes from Bedford town centre off of the Goldington Road and near to Goldington Green. The service is a large bungalow with an expansive garden which the individuals love to spend time in during the warmer weather.
Individuals living at the service are sociable and active and enjoy lots of interaction with their staff. They enjoy spending quality time with the staff team at the service and out in the community. Examples of activities include walks around the local area, going shopping, sensory activities, shopping in the town centre, day trips out, visiting arts and crafts, and board games.
Support Worker duties include:
· Providing respectful and dignified personal care including the administration of medication
· Working shifts which include evenings, weekends and bank holidays
· Supporting service users with the activities they enjoy, such as bowling and going on walks around the Bedford area
· Supporting individuals to manage all aspects of their home environment and ensure it is reflective of their personal tastes and preferences
· Support with budgeting and finances, cooking and meal preparation
Experience is not essential for this role as full training will be provided. However, you must be able to demonstrate a warm and caring personality with a positive and proactive approach to the role. About the role:
This role will work across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent, but will be based in our Stafford office. Hybrid working is considered following our mandatory six month probationary period. Travel across the whole of Staffordshire will be required.
As an IDVA you will be asked to:
