The Royal School of Needlework is the International Centre of Excellence for the Art of Hand Embroidery. Based at the historic Hampton Court Palace, we have been dedicated to preserving and innovating in the art of hand embroidery since 1872. Our thriving education programme offers courses for all levels, from beginners to degree level, and we teach onsite and online in locations across the UK, and internationally in America, Japan, and Australia. The RSN is unique. No other single organisation covers the breadth of education and practice to promote the art and technique of hand embroidery or has our connections, collection, archive and heritage. Embroidery is an international language. Cultures and communities have used embroidery-based techniques to tell stories and record events for hundreds of years while the individual benefits of mindfulness and mental wellbeing are now increasingly being recognised today.

Overview of Role: To provide operational and administrative support across the RSN’s educational programmes, including the Certificate and Diploma, Tutor Training Course, Short Courses, International Summer School and On Demand Courses.

The main duties include, but are not limited to

General Administration

• Manage the Education Email Inboxes, responding to queries and complaints as appropriate
• Monitor and order stock levels, ensuring supplies are available as needed.
• Handle the packing and mailing of kits and materials, both nationally and internationally
• Support classroom setup for various courses, including Short Courses, Bespoke Classes, and events
• Assist in preparing beverages for students and visitors, maintaining cleanliness in the area.
• Escort visitors and guests from reception, including tour groups, while representing the RSN brand confidently and enthusiastically
• Attend offsite events as required.

Course-Related Administration

• Support the Certificate and Diploma Programme Managers in the administration of the course
• Assist the Tutor Training and Short Course Manager with the coordination and logistics of classes and events.
• Manage on-demand course operations, including kit fulfilment, customer support, and quality improvements, alongside administering the RSN Fellowship programme, coordinating CPD events, and supporting membership initiatives
• Provide logistical support for educational tours and other departmental activities. 3. Other Duties o Maintain a professional and efficient workflow within the Education team
• Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Director of Education and the Education Management Team, including scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining organised records to facilitate programme delivery
• Undertake any additional activities required by your line manager within the scope of this role. You will not be expected to perform all the above duties, but we will expect you to be able to cover for colleagues where appropriate.

The Mental Health Link Worker works collaboratively with Manchester City Council’s Adult Social Care and Safeguarding Services to ensure that people are better able to access appropriate support services for their mental health.

The Link Worker will join an existing worker to build collaborative and kind relationships where people feel heard and understood, enabling people to access services and navigate routes to support. They will provide community advocacy, deliver emotional support, make onward referrals and will communicate with community, primary and secondary health care. They will also work to support people to have their practical needs met around income, food and housing, seeking to reduce the impact these issues have on immediate mental health.

Overview of Role

1. The Director of Development is responsible for developing and leading strategies to grow the organisations financial resources, supporter base and brand recognition. The Director of Development will lead and manage the fundraising team and have overall responsibility for ensuring the effective leadership and management of the Marketing and Comms and Innovation Lab teams in conjunction with the Co-Heads of Marketing and Comms and Innovation Lab Manager.

4. The role involves developing and delivering strategies for increasing core and project-focused income from individual donors, charitable trusts, statutory sources and companies.

5. The post involves development of fundraising bids and pitches in support of the above.

6. The Director of Development will build and maintain strong and trusted senior level relationships with key stakeholders in government, funders, high net worth individuals, corporates and partner organisations

7. The post holder will lead on enhancing CAT’s approach to measurement of impact and ensuring effective systems are in place for monitoring and evaluation.

Main Responsibilities

FUNDRAISING AND INCOME GENERATION

· Develop and clearly articulate the case for support for CAT that positions it for fundraising success. Determine the most effective way of positioning its case as compelling and unique.

 ·         Develop, implement and evaluate a comprehensive fundraising programme that meets the needs of the organisation. This includes setting the overall goals and objectives for fundraising, alongside the Co-CEOs and leading the delivery of strategies to achieve these goals.

·Identify, prioritise, cultivate, solicit and steward a major gifts portfolio that includes individuals and organisations, with a particular emphasis on trusts and foundations.

· Working closely with the Co-CEO, refine and lead the organisation’s strategy for securing increased support from statutory sources, including Welsh and UK Government.

· The post will be responsible for oversight of fundraising, including ensuring effective fundraising strategies are developed and implemented for increasing giving, recruitment and retention of members and supporters including legacies, as well as for trusts and corporates.

· Work closely with the Co-CEO, Head of Eco Centre and Project Director to update on progress with funding and funders requirements.

· Lead the development of funding bids and tenders, working with the Co-CEO, Head of Eco Centre, Head of School, fundraising team, trustees and other staff across the organisation.

· Build the realisation of core funds and overhead costs into all bids and tenders.

· Work with the Co-CEO and Management Accountant to ensure strong systems are in place for the financial management of projects and the realisation of projected core and overhead contributions.

·Work collaboratively with colleagues to create robust systems for prospect research, stewardship and contact management.

·Provide regular reports on progress and results with prospects in portfolio.

·In collaboration with the Co-CEO and other senior managers, establish and maintain links with the government, business and voluntary sectors with a view to attracting financial support.

·         In collaboration with the Co-CEO oversee CAT’s external networking and advocacy, in collaboration with staff across the organisation.

·         Lead on embedding the measurement of impact of the charity’s activities across the organisation.

COMMUNICATIONS

 · Working with the CoCEO and Co-Heads of Marketing and Comms, provide leadership to the organisation’s communications and marketing work.

· Working with the Marketing and Comms team, create and oversee the delivery of a marketing and communications strategy that will enhance and build upon CAT’s excellent reputation and enable the effective marketing of CAT’s services and communication of key messages.

·Advise and support the Marketing and Comms team in relation to brand-building, campaigns, supporter mobilisation, media relations and defensive PR.

Working with the Co-Heads of Marketing and Comms and team, develop and update a record of key information and clear and consistent messages about CAT’s work, goals and achievements. Oversee the implementation of key messages in CAT’s communications.​

STRATEGIC AND MOTIVATIONAL LEADERSHIP

· Provide inspirational, collaborative and effective leadership over the range of CAT's fundraising and development activities, harnessing the commitment and knowledge of the staff.

OTHER

• To undertake such other duties and responsibilities as required by the Co-CEO.

 THE PERSON:

Candidates for the role must bring substantial experience and broad expertise and contacts in fundraising, including managing and supporting a fundraising team.

You will have a proven track record of generating significant funds through trust, statutory and corporate sources and from individual giving, preferably including prior success in leading a multi-million capital campaign as well as driving increased core income.

You will need strong experience and skills in networking and developing relationships with individuals and organisations.  Experience of leading marketing and communications work would be an advantage.

Candidates should also have a wide range of business development and communications skills including entrepreneurial flair, excellent communication and inter-personal skills and strong organisational abilities.

The organisation is the only Jewish Community Centre of its kind in the UK, serving as a dynamic, cross-communal hub for Jewish arts, culture, education and social action. The Fundraising Director will be responsible for the income budget which will reach £3.5m+ by 2031, constituting around 60% of JW3’s income overall. As a key member of the centre’s Senior Leadership Team, you will lead and motivate the fundraising team and will work closely with the CEO and Trustees to achieve long-term sustainable income growth. Specifically the Director will manage and deepen the charity’s relationships with key funders and stakeholders and identify opportunities to develop new relationships HNWIs, corporates and trusts and foundations.

About the role: This is an exciting time for Tender, with both the demand for and reach of our work expanding significantly in recent years. To support this expansion, we are recruiting for a Projects Coordinator to join the London and South East team. Working closely with the Programmes Manager and other Projects Coordinators, the postholder will develop, coordinate, and evaluate impactful projects aimed at promoting healthy relationships amongst children and young people in primary, secondary and specialist schools and settings across London and the South East. This a hybrid role, with some days working from home and some from our London office.

What you will be doing: This role combines hands-on project coordination with oversight of project targets, and stakeholder engagement. You will play a key role in ensuring that projects are planned and delivered smoothly, communicating regularly with settings and the facilitators delivering the workshops; ensuring projects are properly recorded, monitored, and evaluated.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate delivery of Tender’s creative education programmes for children and young people in London schools and specialist settings.
• Develop strong relationships with teachers, facilitators, and partner organisations to support effective project delivery.
• Monitor impact and share learning to ensure continuous improvement and meaningful outcomes.

Essential requirements:

Oasis Community Hub Hadley encompasses a variety of integrated and diverse community projects which together have a common aim to bring transformation to the whole person and the whole community. 

Oasis Community Hub Hadley is looking for a project Administrator to maintain the smooth day-to-day running of the Oasis Youth Support project at North Middlesex University Hospital, a project supporting young people who have experienced violence which has had a negative impact on their mental wellbeing.

Duties Include;

1. Updating and maintaining the project’s database from local NHS systems.

2. Identifying young people eligible for the service by screening referrals or trawling the hospital system and ensuring these are collated on the project database to be contacted by the youth workers.

3. Quality assure the data being recorded on the EVIDE system.

4. Preparing regular reports as required by the projects funders or other stakeholders.

You could be successful in this role if you: 

· Have a relevant experience with administration, including using excel, word and other Microsoft systems.

· Have an eye for detail and accuracy.

· Possess excellent oral/written communication and organisational skills.

· Are self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and work to deadlines.

Please be aware that although the role does not require face to face work with young people, the post-holder will be regularly reviewing and inputting details of incidents relating to youth violence.

The purpose of this role is to provide assessments and a range of evidence-based treatments to a caseload of patients with mild to moderate symptoms such as worry and low mood whilst attending the University of Southampton to become a Qualified PWP.
