Sea-Changers is looking for a motivated leader to make a step change at a key point in the organisation’s journey. Sea-Changers’ vision is a future where the UK’s seas and shores are clean and healthy and marine species and habitats are protected. Our grants seek to support communities of Sea-Changers – people who care about the seas and want to take practical action to make a difference. Through our grants we enable diverse, grassroots and community-led marine conservation across the UK.

Doubling our income to over £300,000 in 2025 has catalysed Sea-Changers to move from a volunteer-led charity to a sustainable organisation with a dedicated staff team. To enable this, we are seeking to appoint our first Executive Director. This new role will work alongside the Co-Founders and our Board of Trustees and lead the transition from a volunteer-led operation to a staff-led organisation.

As a driven individual, you will build on our success — strengthen partnerships, expand our impact, and help more communities to protect the ocean. Supported by a strong group of volunteers and an impressive Board, the Executive Director will be comfortable working at both a strategic and operation level, and ‘hands on’. By the end of 2027 it is our expectation you will take full responsibility for the strategic leadership and overall operational delivery of Sea-Changers.

About the Role

As Policy Officer, you will play a central role in advancing the Trust’s marine policy, planning, and ocean literacy ambitions across a diverse and impactful portfolio. Working closely with the Marine Policy Manager and the marine policy inclusion officer, you will contribute to the development of evidence based, solutions focused policy positions on –

• Scotland’s Marine Protected Area network
• National and regional marine planning
• Fisheries management
• Marine renewables
  - and the delivery of Scotland’s Blue Economy Vision - particularly its aim to build an ocean literate nation.

A significant focus of the role will be leading the coordination and delivery of the Scottish Ocean Literacy Coalition and supporting the development of Scotland’s first national Ocean Literacy Strategy. You will convene and chair steering group meetings, design and deliver both online and in person engagement events, and gather perspectives from a wide range of stakeholders to shape a shared national vision for ocean literacy. This will require confidence in planning, facilitating, and managing events, as well as the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across sectors including government, NGOs, academia, communities, and marine industries.

You will also represent the Trust at external meetings, workshops, and conferences, ensuring our priorities are communicated effectively and that we remain an active, constructive voice in Scotland’s marine policy landscape. The breadth of the role offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise across marine environmental topics while developing your own specialist area of interest. Ultimately, you will help strengthen the Trust’s capacity to influence marine planning processes, support marine protection initiatives, and contribute to a more ocean literate Scotland.

Join a nature restoration charity, whose mission is to restore beavers to regenerate our landscapes.

We are looking for a Policy Officer to influence national policies and strategies that enable the restoration of beavers, rivers and wetlands.

Position: Policy Officer

About the Role

Working closely with and supporting the Policy Lead, the role involves engaging with stakeholders to build strong, effective relationships and help drive policy change in support of the charity’s mission. Sitting in the Influencing team, the Policy Officer will collaborate across the organisation, including with Restoration, Communication & Education, Fundraising, and Support & Governance teams.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Research and monitor changes in policy and legislation with direct and indirect impacts on beaver restoration across Britain.
• Draft relevant responses, policy documents and political briefings.
• Organise policy events and meetings to support influencing work.
• Monitor the policy positions and activities of stakeholder organisations, including partners and those with opposing views.
• Cultivate and maintain stakeholder relationships, including with politicians, government officials, and partners to bolster support for the trust’s policy positions.
• Represent the organisation at meetings and events, including those of Wildlife & Countryside Link, Wales Environment Link, and Scottish Environment LINK coalitions.
• Support delivery of campaigns.

About You

You will have an understanding of the environmental policy landscape - including agri–environment schemes - across Britain at both local and national levels. With strong influencing and communication skills, you will have the ability to articulate policy positions clearly and persuasively to support policy change.

You will have proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of external stakeholders, including those who may hold differing or opposing views. For example government officials, NGOs, partners, and landowners.

With the ability to synthesise, interpret and apply scientific research to inform policy development and advocacy, you will have:

• Experience of producing high-quality reports, briefings and written communications for diverse audiences.
• Highly organised, proactive and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to the organisation’s mission and values.
• IT and visual content creation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Britain for work, including frequent overnight stays, with access to transport to get to areas not covered by bus/rail.

Recovery Navigators (Mental Health) – Intensive Community Rehabilitation Service

Our client is the leading provider of mental health services in Birmingham and the West Midlands. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary clinically led Intensive Community Rehabilitation Team, within Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust. You will be managed and employed by Birmingham Mind, but you will be working as part of an integrated team including clinicians and a psychology team. You will be working with people who are experiencing severe and enduring mental health difficulties, supporting them in their own accommodation within the Birmingham and Solihull area. You will be completing interventions that have been identified in each service users’ care plans, Dialog+, which will help to strengthen and maintain skills, abilities and recovery.

Ideally you will be QCF/NVQ level 3 qualified or have a willingness to work towards this qualification. It is essential that you have an empathy for people experiencing mental health issues and are committed to service user involvement and empowerment. You will have a good understanding of equal opportunities, confidentiality, safeguarding and health & safety.

You will need to be flexible due to the shift patterns which include days (09:00 – 17:00), evenings (12:00 – 20:00pm), and weekends (every 7 weeks).

About the role:

We are looking for an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA). This is a full time role on fixed term contract until 31/03/2027. The aim of this role is to support victims of domestic abuse, who are inpatients or outpatients of Bedford Hospital. This role will be part of our other wider specialist services covering Bedfordshire.

As an IDVA you will be:

• Working closely with the safeguarding team and a range of other hospital departments
• Providing a high quality support and advocacy service to victims of domestic abuse.
• Managing a caseload; identifying and assessing risks and needs, providing a tailored crisis intervention service trough individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Working with other agencies and advocating on behalf of service users in order to help them access services to keep them safe.
• Working within a multi-agency framework consisting of partners as well as MARAC and other local partnerships to offer a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
• Promoting the service and raise awareness of domestic abuse through the delivery of training

You will need:

• Experience of working in support and advocacy with victims of domestic abuse is advantageous
• To be able to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/needs and interests and promote organisation interests and values.
• To ideally hold a SafeLives IDVA accreditation, relevant degree, vocational qualification or relevant experience of delivering a service and working with domestic abuse victim's/service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting.

The Gurkha Welfare Trust provides vital support to Gurkha veterans, their families and communities in Nepal. We have been working in Nepal for over 50 years, delivering essential financial and medical aid to Gurkha veterans and widows, and working with local communities to provide access to clean water and education. We also build earthquake-resilient homes for our most vulnerable pensioners.

This role’s primary responsibilities will be as follows:

 1. Develop and implement the Trust’s Individual Giving acquisition strategy across regular giving, one‑off donors, mid‑value supporters, and legacy pledgers, in collaboration with the Head of Fundraising & Communications.

2. Lead the planning and management of the annual acquisition budget, ensuring income and expenditure forecasts are accurate and regularly monitored.

3. Deliver integrated, supporter‑focused campaigns across direct mail, TV, door‑drop, inserts, press, telephone fundraising, and digital channels, ensuring activity meets agreed targets, deadlines, and quality standards.

4. Work with the Database Manager and external partners to ensure accurate data selection, segmentation, and fulfilment for all campaigns.

5. Monitor donor behaviour and key performance indicators, including attrition, response rates, and ROI, and develop strategies to enhance retention and reactivate lapsed supporters.

6. Collaborate with creative and fundraising agencies to test, refine, and optimise campaign content, propositions, and targeting.

7. Ensure the highest standard of donor care, working closely with the Individual Giving (Stewardship & Retention) Manager, Database Manager, and fulfilment providers to deliver a consistent and positive supporter experience.

8. Strengthen the regular‑giving acquisition proposition, identifying growth opportunities and mitigating donor attrition.

9. Maximise Gift Aid income by ensuring all acquisition activity includes appropriate prompts and compliance measures.

Support legacy marketing activity in partnership with the Legacy Administration team.

KEY SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

Applicants for this position should be able to satisfy the following criteria:

Essential:

• Proven success in delivering Individual Giving or marketing campaigns that meet or exceed income targets.

• Extensive experience in an Individual Giving or similar fundraising role.
• Experience managing external agencies and overseeing creative, print, and production processes.
• Experience of mail or telephone acquisition campaigns and testing new fundraising channels.

Experience using CRM systems, particularly Access or similar platforms.

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

Job Summary for Corporate Partnerships Officer

• Join a high‑performing Partnerships and Philanthropy team of eight fundraisers specialising in securing high‑value support from corporates and charitable trusts.
• The ideal candidate will bring:
  • Experience in fundraising and relationship management.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage a fundraising portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager, Corporate Partnerships Manager, and Senior Corporate Partnership Officers.
• Manage a portfolio of existing corporate partnerships, ensuring high‑quality stewardship and maximisation of income and mutual value.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities.
• Lead or support:
  • Charity of the Year partnerships.
  • Corporate event management and support.
  • Partnerships with pharmaceutical companies.
  • Sponsorship initiatives.
  • Cause Related Marketing (CRM) collaborations.
• Contribute significantly to achieving ambitious team fundraising targets.
• Help drive improvements for everyone affected by bowel cancer through impactful partnership work.

Mission Without Borders (MWB) is a Christian charity supporting over 10,000 children and 2,000 families living in poverty across Eastern Europe. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about activism, campaigning, and collective organising to play a central role within our Democracy & Representation Team. The successful candidate will support and strengthen the delivery of officer-led campaigns and projects, working closely with our five elected Sabbatical Officers. You will help turn their ideas into meaningful change, from coordinating campaign activity and managing deadlines to ensuring officers have the tailored support they need. You will help connect work across the Students’ Union, contributing to campaigns on key issues such as liberation, student rights, fair representation, and intersectionality.
