Emmaus UK is seeking a proactive and experienced permanent HR Manager to join our team at an exciting time of growth and transformation. This newly created role will lead the HR function and support the delivery of our People & EDI Strategy, helping us become a best practice national body and an employer of choice. Working closely with the Director of Resources, the HR Manager will oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to exit interviews, while ensuring our policies, systems, and culture promote a positive and inclusive working environment.

The successful candidate will have CIPD Level 5 or above, strong HR advisory experience and a solid understanding of UK employment law. They will be confident managing recruitment, employee relations, and policy development, and will bring excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Experience with HR databases, particularly Sage HR, is desirable, as is experience managing budgets.

This is a part-time role (4 days per week) with a salary of £38,950 (£48,688 pro rata ).

This is a remote role, that will involve occasional travel to sites and the main offices in Birmingham.

Job Overview

As the Advocacy Officer, you are responsible for building the profile, influence and credibility of IRC’s work with UK politicians, political parties and opinion formers on our humanitarian and development issues. You will be delivering our influence strategies and identifying strategic lobbying opportunities and enabling colleagues to exploit them fully through the use of innovative and creative tactics that help IRC stand out in a crowded arena. You will support building critical strategic relationships to help deliver on IRC’s objectives in parliament. You will contribute fresh insights and analysis to inform IRC’s influence approaches, tactics, and messages.

Major Responsibilities:

• Advocacy Strategy: Support in delivering advocacy strategies, collaborating with the Advocacy Manager, policy leads, public advocacy and communications colleagues, to advance IRC’s key advocacy objectives. 
• ​Political and policy monitoring: Analyse and report on relevant political and policy trends and regularly communicate across external relations teams.Expand IRC’s political reach by tracking and analysing shifting government positions, individuals engaging on our issues, and the politics around our issues. Track political processes and profile opportunities / events; including bills, select committee inquiries, and other parliamentary and political developments. 

• Stakeholder management: Building and maintaining relationships with a core group of political champions in and around Westminster, whilst raising IRC’s profile and awareness of our positions on key issues among a wider political audience in order to increase our ability to deliver policy change.
• Political engagement: Developing and providing regular written or oral briefings to MPs, Peers, government officials, and other decision makers on key policies and campaigns. Producing specific asks to parliamentarians on a regular basis – parliamentary questions, debate contributions etc.

• Communications: Provide market and audience expertise to communications team to craft public advocacy in the UK. Support team in developing communications strategy and develop materials for advocacy targets, including digital/social content and take actions.
• Teamwork: Support a positive team culture by acting openly and collaboratively, supporting colleagues in their work and sharing credit with others where appropriate. 
• Steward Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion: both in the culture of IRC, as well as in the policy solutions we develop and the ways we wield influence.

Work experience:

The Dollywood Foundation UK runs Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in the UK, the worlds largest book gifting programme. Over the last 30 years the Imagination Library has delivered nearly 300 million books to children globally. In the UK we support over 60k children a month, delivering them a free book sent to their house every month.

The primary purpose of this new role is to increase registrations for the Imagination Library initially across London. This role will support our Local Programme Partners to reach families with whom they are not currently engaging.

This role is a comprehensive HR Business Partner position responsible for aligning HR strategy with the operational and strategic goals of Hestia. The postholder will work closely with designated client groups to support organisational change, including restructures, TUPE processes, and the implementation of new services. A key aspect of the role is coaching and supporting line managers to lead inclusively and in alignment with the organisation's values, as well as helping embed learning and development initiatives across teams. The role involves providing expert HR guidance on employee relations and employment law, particularly in complex or sensitive cases. This includes managing issues such as conduct, performance, absence, grievances, and whistleblowing. As a member of the Resolution Hub, the HR Business Partner also leads mediation and conflict resolution efforts. The role ensures that HR practices are legally compliant and reflective of Hestia's values, collaborating with other departments to continually improve and align the people strategy.

In addition, the postholder oversees wellbeing and benefits initiatives, maintaining internal platforms and working with third-party providers. They use data to monitor engagement and uptake, guiding improvements and equipping managers with the tools to support staff effectively. The role also includes project management responsibilities, such as vendor transitions and scheme enhancements, to strengthen Hestia's overall employee value proposition.

The HR Business Partner will also take a lead in business change processes, ensuring due diligence during TUPE and structural changes, while facilitating smooth onboarding and offboarding experiences for staff. Externally, they may represent the organisation as the main HR contact. Data analysis and reporting are essential, with the postholder tracking key HR metrics and contributing to both internal and external reports, such as those for the Charity Commission.

Finally, the role involves supporting broader HR functions, including recruitment and HR operations, as well as chairing and coordinating team meetings. There is a strong emphasis on contributing to and leading EDI and anti-racism strategies, supporting internal network groups, and collaborating with Hestia's recognised trade union, Unison. This is a dynamic and impactful role that requires strategic insight, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive, values-led approach to HR.

Here's what the team will be looking for

The ideal candidate for this role will bring substantial experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally gained in a fast-paced, change-driven environment. They will have led on key people-focused areas such as wellbeing, reward, and benefits, and possess a strong background in managing complex HR issues. With at least 5 to 7 years of experience in HR Business Partnering or as an HR Manager, they will be adept at supporting organisational change and driving strategic people initiatives.

They will be fully CIPD qualified, preferably to Level 7, and demonstrate a deep knowledge of employment law. Their experience will include leading TUPE transfers, managing restructures, and handling redundancy and consultation processes. The role requires someone with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, who can build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders while offering challenge and support when necessary.

Attention to detail, strong numeracy, and excellent written English are all essential. The candidate will also need to be IT literate and comfortable working with data. A sound understanding of safeguarding is required, and prior experience working in the charity or public sector would be advantageous.

The Jewish Museum London has undergone substantial positive change over the past two years, moving out of our Camden site and moving to a ‘Museum without Walls’ model. We are currently recruiting a Skin Camouflage Practitioner Co-ordinator (Wales) (0.6 FTE, spread across 3-4 days) to deliver and support our vital Skin Camouflage Service – a unique, life-enhancing service that helps individuals regain confidence and feel more in control of their appearance.

Main purpose of the role

Changing Faces are launching a brand-new pilot Skin Camouflage Service in South Wales. We’re looking for a dedicated and organised Skin Camouflage Practitioner Coordinator to help make it happen.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver in-person Skin Camouflage appointments, supporting people with visible differences
• Promote the service and build connections with local communities and health professionals
• Support the new service set-up, including clinics, documentation, and support the implementation of Welsh translations
• Coordinate and administrate appointments remotely and manage client enquiries
• Signpost clients to other Changing Faces services as needed
• Contribute to service development alongside the wider team

We are seeking a professional, empathetic individual with strong administrative skills and either experience or a talent in cosmetic artistry or colour matching. A background in nursing, therapy, or another healthcare role would be an advantage in the clinic-based environment.

Following training, the role will involve delivering one 6.5-hour weekday clinic per week. In this setting, you will provide Skin Camouflage colour matching, application, tuition, and guidance to individuals affected by a visible difference.

In addition, you will work 15.7 hours remotely across 2–3 weekdays. Working as an integral part of our Skin Camouflage team, administrating and co-ordinating a compassionate, professional service that makes a real difference in peoples lives.

Who We Are Looking For

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with first class communication skills to liaise effectively, clearly, logically, concisely and appropriately for the particular audiences. Additional fluency in Welsh would be desirable but not essential.
• Proven administrative ability, including the efficient use of administration systems, and confident use of the Microsoft Office suite, video conferencing tools, and CRM platforms (Salesforce experience is an advantage but not essential).
• Experience or natural talent in cosmetic artistry or colour matching, with an excellent eye for colour and visual detail.
• On clinic days; ability to lift and wheel camouflage kit (approximately 10KG). Ability to kneel, bend and hold cosmetic brushes to facilitate camouflage on differing body areas.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen empathetically and support vulnerable clients, while maintaining professional boundaries and emotional resilience.
• Good understanding of policies and procedures, particularly in relation to safeguarding, and a strong commitment to the safety and wellbeing of clients, staff, and volunteers.
• Excellent organisational skills and a systematic approach to work, with the ability to prioritise effectively between competing demands.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy even when working under pressure.
• Experience of contributing positively in a busy, team-focused environment, showing strong collaboration and support for colleagues.
• A flexible, proactive approach with a willingness to learn, adapt, and suggest improvements to our service and organisational processes.
• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the ability to handle client data accurately and securely.

People with visible differences are vulnerable to isolation, loneliness, social anxiety and low self-esteem. They face staring, unwanted attention and even bullying and hate crime. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Arrest Referral Worker in our CARS team, which has had, and continues to receive, national recognition.

Cranstoun are proud to work with the West Midlands Police Crime and Commissioner to deliver the Cranstoun Arrest Referral Service within the custody suites of West Midlands Police, and West Midlands Courts, offering drug and alcohol using offenders the opportunity to break the cycle of substance related crime.

You will work between police custody and criminal courts. You will assess, advise and refer offenders, providing them the opportunity to access treatment to address their substance use. Working with courts you will promote the use of Community Sentence Treatment Requirements (Drug Rehabilitations Requirements and Alcohol Treatment Requirements) amongst all court professionals and the judiciary, contributing to Pre Sentence Reports and advocate for our service users.  

You will be responsible for delivering all elements of substance use work including assertive engagement, harm reduction support (including naloxone provision), as well as other associated duties. You need to have an understanding of the issues faced by people who use drugs and alcohol, and who commit crime, and be dedicated to delivering a service that supports these individuals to make positive changes to their behaviour, health and well-being.

Working location: mostly remote work with some travel required. Who we're looking for 

Full training will be provided under the guidance of our dedicated Training Officer. Our induction program has been developed to equip caseworkers with the skills they need to provide high quality support to road victims and covers topics such as being trauma-informed, safeguarding and risk management. We're open to candidates from all sorts of backgrounds, as long as you're a compassionate, self-starter with a background in providing high-quality emotional support and advocacy. Your experience in roles within the NHS, any health and social care, road safety, counselling, the police and family liaison officers, lived experience or any type of casework could make you an ideal candidate. 

Essential Requirements: 

• A full, clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (travel expenses are reimbursed) 

• Resident in the central area of the South West Region. 

• Experience delivering frontline support, preferably involving sudden bereavement or heightened vulnerabilities. 
• Strong advocacy and research skills to liaise with multiple organisations on behalf of service users. 
• Competency in I.T skills to work remotely. 

Desirable Experience: 

• Comprehensive understanding of the processes involved in the criminal justice system and coronial process
