Within DAE, the Foundations and Corporations team is a pan-University fundraising team focused on building and maintaining successful philanthropic relationships for the University’s priorities. Funding secured supports posts and key research areas such as the environment, health and societal challenges, as well as scholarship support for postgraduate students. We work closely with our colleagues in specialist fundraising teams as well as those in business partnerships, innovation teams and research services.
This is an exciting time to join our Development and Alumni engagement team. The role of Senior Development Executive – Foundations and Corporations will support the University to establish and grow new philanthropic relationships with charitable trusts, foundations and corporations across a range of subject areas and themes, from global health and climate change, to civil society and the role of AI. Funding secured will support capital projects, academic posts, innovative research and enable talented students to undertake further studies at Oxford. To achieve this, you will have the support of excellent colleagues across DAE as well as wider academic, departmental and professional service staff at Oxford.
About you
You are an experienced philanthropic fundraiser with a strong track record of securing major gifts, a confident approach and the ability to think creatively. Your ability to build rapport and relationships swiftly will enable you to lead on major gift fundraising (securing donations of £500k-£1m+), working with a range of donors (corporates, trusts and foundations). Your ability to establish credibility and foster trust across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders will be key to your success. Your strong experience of building philanthropic partnerships with organisation donors will be key. Experience of work in higher education is desirable. Above all, you will share Oxford’s mission and be driven to create meaningful impact through philanthropy.

About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a lively, dynamic and driven fundraising events team. Over the last decade, Breast Cancer Now has built up a strong events function, with community fundraising and events currently accounting for nearly a quarter of the charity’s overall voluntary income.
Due to internal promotions, we’re now looking for 2 new events officers to play a key role within the team. Managing the delivery of our varied portfolio of challenge events, currently comprising of running, cycling, swimming and trekking challenges and engagement events such as our Carols by Candlelight, supporter focussed events and key internal events too. You’ll be a supporter for hundreds of fundraisers, acting as a point of contact and an ambassador for the organisation to excite and retain our supporters.

About you
We’re looking for an individual with excellent attention to detail and a passion for charity fundraising. An understanding of and experience with administrative tasks as well as event logistics and working in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
You’ll be a key point of contact with hundreds of our supporters and staff, many of whom will be in touch via email, phone or social media, so an understanding of using these channels and delivering customer service, particularly in the charity sector, is preferable. You should also have a demonstrable ability to work to deadlines and have experience working as part of a team.

Role description:
The learning lead will work with local partners to ensure strategic learning is captured &
applied to develop partnerships and strengthen understanding to collectively tackle physical
inactivity and support wider health and social outcomes.
Working to established learning goals the learning lead is responsible for developing,
implementing, and managing learning and development initiatives that enhance connectivity
and understanding between partners to work together. This will involve providing focused
support to partners to capture accurate insight & learning, assessing what works and what
does not, ensuring key learning is shared throughout the process with partners and
communities.
The learning lead will work as part of a team, working across the areas of Dudley, Sandwell,

1. Work with the place partners across the 4 Black Country local authority areas and Active Black Country to implement the Monitoring Evaluation & Learning framework as part of the Sport England ‘Place Based’ investment.
2. Develop effective working relationships with a breadth of partners and organisations to support collaboration and the development of a shared purpose to address inequalities that prevent people from moving and being active.
3. Working with the support of the learning and monitoring & evaluation partners, ensure strategic learning is captured and applied to help us fulfil organisational and place ambitions.
4. Develop a SMART learning plan for each place, drawing in the real time priorities of partners, ensuring community engagement is at the heart of decision making.
5. Champion how partners can cascade learning into their organisation to influence wider change, devising creative ways to share the learning at a local level, highlighting need and connecting to priorities to maintain momentum.

JOB PURPOSE
The Director of Fundraising and Development (Maternity Cover) will provide strategic leadership and direction across all fundraising and income-generating activities, ensuring the charity continues to deliver against its financial objectives and accelerates long-term, sustainable growth across our philanthropic, public, and commercial income streams.
You will bring strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to equip, support, and empower the team through a period of organisational change. Individual Giving Officer
Home based, remote working

As Individual Giving Officer you will be responsible for supporting the Individual Giving team across retention and acquisition to raise unrestricted income from supporters.
You will:
1. With support from the Individual Giving Manager, lead on telephone fundraising campaigns.
2. Support the team with various CRM system processes and data admin.
3. Create purchase orders and invoices.
4. Help with scoping new acquisition opportunities like Lead Generation activity and overarching stewardship moments to improve supporter experience.
You will be a results oriented person with some experience of working in either a fundraising or in a direct marketing role. You have good time management skills and are able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously so that projects you are working on stay on track, and are delivered to a high standard. You will enjoy remote working and relish the opportunity to innovate, breaking new ground in your work.
No essential qualifications but a good standard of written English and attention to detail is a requirement.

Job Profile

The post holder will contribute to ensuring the Supporter Donations Team (SDT) manage and administer supporter donation activity on behalf of CAFOD, providing a high level of supporter care while delivering within agreed service levels and Key Performance Indicators. SDT has the overall responsibility for managing and thanking all supporter donations to CAFOD made through a variety of channels and schemes. SDT works within the Finance and infrastructure group, liaises across all teams in CAFOD, and external service providers to ensure donations are processed within agreed service levels and quality standards. Due to the nature of SDT’s role, SDT has particularly close ties to CAFOD Fundraising activities and actively engages in our fundraising programmes and schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Supporter Care:
- Handle telephone, email and postal enquiries from supporters; identifying and resolving queries in a prompt, warm and sensitive way.
- Provide phone cover to the Supporter Care team as required.
- Provide reception cover to the Supporter Care team as required.
Donations:
- Accurately code donations received, ensuring agreed departmental procedures are followed.
- Process, set up and administer instructions and payments through a variety of donations channels and schemes such as Online, Direct Debit, standing orders, BACs, Payroll giving schemes and online giving platforms.
- Input and maintain data on CAFOD’s supporter database, ensuring high degrees of accuracy on our donor records.
- File and archive financial data, while adhering to strict audit controls.
Gift Aid:
- Understand Gift Aid and its application within CAFOD.
- Assist with all aspects of tax effective giving, in accordance with agreed procedures and priorities, including preparation of regular tax claims for submission to HMRC.
Thanking:
- Produce and dispatch letters to thank and acknowledge donations received.
- Write bespoke letters of thanks to supporters to respond to exceptional donations and provide a personal touch.
- Contribute to ongoing enhancement and improvement of supporter thanking
Post/banking:
- Assist with all incoming and outgoing postal duties held by SDT to maximise effectiveness of processes and delivery of key service levels.
- Preparation of daily banking, cash handling and initial reconciliation of all monies received daily.
All SDT staff are expected to:
- Attend and contribute to regular team, section, divisional and CAFOD-wide meetings and briefings.
- Work as a supportive member of the team, providing cover for and training of the section staff and volunteers as required.
- Participate in training and other activities as requested by the line manager
- Assist with the rapid set up of projects and work packages in response to major emergency and disaster appeals.

This new role at Young Sounds UK will lead on securing grant income from and coordinating relationships with Trusts and Foundations. This will include identifying and researching funders, submitting compelling applications and completing timely and accurate reports.

The Head of Development will work closely with the Director to manage relations and raise funds from Trusts, Foundations, Corporates and Individuals to support the Gallery’s mission.
They will lead the strategic planning, execution and growth of the gallery's fundraising efforts. This includes securing major gifts, cultivating donor relationships, leading fundraising campaigns and developing income streams from individuals, trusts, foundations and corporate sponsors.
As a key member of the senior management team, the Head of Development will ensure that philanthropic support aligns with the gallery’s mission, vision and long-term financial sustainability.
Main duties and responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the gallery’s exhibitions, public programming, capital renewal and endowment.

Campaigns & Special Initiatives
- Design and implement major fundraising campaigns, including gala events.

- Supervise grant writing, reporting, evaluation and compliance processes.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with curatorial, marketing and education teams to align fundraising with programming.
- Provide regular fundraising reports and forecasts to the board.

Fundraising Officer

We are seeking a well-organised and personable Fundraising Officer with excellent communication skills to develop supporter relationships through phone and written communications. You'll help increase the impact of appeals, the welcome journey, regular giving programmes, and general fundraising projects. Working closely with the Fundraising and Impact Manager, you'll steward high-level donors, complete monthly Joy Bringer campaign calls, deliver direct marketing campaigns, and maintain accurate supporter records.

About the role
As Fundraising Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting RFUK’s income generation and donor engagement strategies.
