This role will be both desk-based and ‘in the field’ meaning no day will be the same and you’ll discover something new every day.  For example, some days you will be shadowing fundraisers onsite across the UK, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and agencies, supporting the mystery shopping programmes, identifying trends and improvements, helping to create engagement tools and materials, delivering training to our fundraisers both in-person across the UK and virtually, contributing to the team’s strategy, and many more.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a customer facing sales role, who enjoys travel and communicating with a diverse group of stakeholders.

You'll also be surrounded by people as dedicated to beating cancer as you are.

What will I be doing?

  • Supporting complaint handling, including resolution and collation, identifying trends and learnings, and working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure learnings are tracked, acted upon and followed up.

  • Conducting field observations for in-house and 3rd party supplier teams including site visits, fundraiser shadowing, and training observations. Reporting on observations and working with the Training and Quality Managers to ensure organisational oversight, and ensure learnings are tracked and acted upon.

  • Working with the team to Identify and report on trends in fundraiser compliance and standards to key internal stakeholders, seeking and identifying opportunities that will add value to the compliance monitoring programme.

  • Delivering inspiring training presentations to fundraisers across the UK and virtually, communicating CRUK’s work, including scientific research and compliant behaviours, in an easy-to-understand manner.

  • Contribute to the development of engagement tools and materials i.e. fundraiser support materials, newsposters, engagement modules, thank you and basic training videos and awards, working with the F2F Training & Engagement Manage

  • Collaborating with external suppliers, taking minutes in meetings & helping to plan and organise sessions to train fundraisers across online platforms, and in-person training at locations across the UK.

  • Helping to maintain and keep the team trackers and logs, up to date.

  • Supporting the wider Face to Face team, as required.

  • Ensure equality and diversity is celebrated and considered as part of all decisions taken.

What are we looking for?

  • This role will require regular travel, at least 2 days per week

  • Strong planning, organisational and record keeping skills, with an ability to manage multiple changing priorities and tasks from start to finish

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience of communicating with diverse audiences and conveying key messages in an effective and inspiring way
