This role is responsible for the successful recruitment of new TACT foster carers, proactively building excellent relationships with potential fostering applicants & guiding them through the assessment & approval process.

Overall Duties of the Deputy Recruitment Manager will include:

• Overseeing the assessment process providing supervision and support to Independent Assessors and internal assessing Social Worker. 
• Managing and providing quality assurance for all Form F assessments through to approval. 
• Working closely with Area Teams to identify training opportunities for applicants in assessment
• Attend and provide up to date information to area team meetings.
• Providing an ongoing customer focused relationship with applicants

We are looking for candidates with:

• BA or Master’s in Social Work or Dip SW, CSS or CQSW qualification
• Current Registration with the relevant professional body
• Experience of working in Children's Services
• A Management qualification (or the willingness to undertake one)
• Experience of working flexibly as part of team
• A passion for ensuring children receive the highest quality care from their foster family
• Experience of delivering training to potential foster families and supporting them in their journey

Whilst being homebased, the Deputy Recruitment Manager will be required to travel for recruitment activity across Wales and the Bristol areas. There is also a requirement to be able to travel to team meetings, wellbeing days, TACT away days and other in person events across the UK as and when required.  Due to the location of the recruitment activity, candidates located in Wales (ideally south East Wales - Cardiff and Newport) would be preferred.

An Enhanced DBS clearance is required for this role and will be processed by TACT on your behalf.

The Child and Family Specialist role is part of an exciting and innovative partnership with the London Borough of Ealing to provide an early intervention service in the community and in schools to children, young people and their families. The Ealing Early Intervention Service has been commissioned to provide direct and systemic work to address moderate mental health needs.

The Child and Family Specialist will work in partnership with schools, children and families to assess and respond to the psychological needs of children experiencing social, emotional, mental health or behavioural difficulties through undertaking assessments and providing interventions. The post-holder will also: provide specialist advice and support to school staff in the identification of mental health needs of children and accessing appropriate resources; and actively contribute to outcome monitoring and service improvement.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a commissioned service delivering direct interventions for young people and their families. The post-holder will offer a range of clinical activities to address mental health needs in children and young people, including direct individual and group work with young people and parents/carers and joint work with other professionals.  The clinical case presentation is mostly moderate risk and requires insight into handling complex clinical cases (e.g. neurodiverse and trauma-inform practice) and appropriate responses to safeguarding concerns.

The Child and Family Specialist will join a small team of 12 people in a fast-paced working dynamic. The post-holder will be supported through supervision and will deliver consultation, training, and workshops to non-mental health staff.

Location

Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working): staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours, either at Greenford Service Centre (UB6 9LB) and occasionally at Anna Freud, 4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH.

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the MHA Fundraising department as the Legacy & Individual Giving Assistant.

Reporting to the Legacy & Individual Giving Manager, you will be a key member of the Fundraising team at MHA. It is a wide-ranging role that will be crucial in making sure that the team meets their aim of increasing income from individuals and securing future income from gifts in Wills.

Your strong administration skills will enable you to assist the team in the delivery of the legacy and individual giving programmes, providing the high-quality administrative support that underpins all of the activities that are implemented. This will include providing excellent supporter care through all communication channels and being the first point of contact for related fundraising enquiries. This is not solely an administration role though. You will have opportunities to develop your marketing and fundraising skills through your involvement in a variety of activities, such as, appeals and campaigns, digital marketing, events, supporter care and internal communications.

There will also be opportunities to work on ad-hoc projects, collaborate with the wider Fundraising team as well as other departments across the charity.

We are currently looking for a Young Person's Resilience Worker to be part of our Newham Rise children and young people’s team. This role involves delivering targeted interventions, focusing on drug and alcohol awareness, education, and prevention for young people. You will also work closely with the MOPAC (Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime) youth-to-adult (Y2A) hub, providing support to young adults aged 18-25 who are also connected to probation services.

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Full Time Salary Range: £27,449.53 - £31,393.77 (pro rata for part time hours)
Allowance: Inner London Weighting of £4,072.06 (pro rata for part time)
Contract Type: Fixed term for 12 months

About the Role

• Support young people and young adults (18-25) from the point they engage with the service, through their entire journey.
• Work alongside the MOPAC Y2A hub, specifically supporting young adults involved with probation services.
• Provide screening, assessments, psychosocial interventions, care planning, and post-treatment support, ensuring seamless transitions in care.
• Respond effectively to safeguarding issues, ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals you work with.
• Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm, helping create healthier communities.
• Advocate for access to relevant services, ensuring holistic outcomes in relation to health and well-being.
• Promote positive outcomes that enable young people to lead safer, healthier, and more purposeful lives, building resilience and reducing risks.

About You

• Experience working with young people, with a good understanding of the issues they face.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices, particularly concerning children and young people, including the Fraser Competence framework.
• Strong understanding of drug and alcohol-related issues and experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of best practices in substance misuse treatment services, especially in relation to young people.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a high level of IT proficiency.
• Team-oriented with a cooperative, supportive approach to achieving service objectives.
