Whizz Kidz is seeking an experienced, creative and strategic Social Media & Content Manager to lead our content and digital storytelling across all channels. This role combines hands-on content creation with strategic oversight, giving you ownership of how Whizz Kidz tells its story to inspire, engage and mobilise audiences. 

You will manage the development and delivery of multimedia content - from video, photography and graphics to written storytelling - while leading our social media strategy, and website content. You will work closely with teams across the organisation to identify, capture and amplify stories of young wheelchair users, fundraisers, and supporters in a compelling, accessible and inclusive way. 

This is a role for a creative, proactive professional who thrives both in strategic planning and hands-on content production, and who can lead by example to inspire colleagues and contributors alike. 

The person

You are a creative storyteller with a proven ability to turn real-life experiences into engaging, impactful content. You have excellent writing and editorial skills and a natural talent for uncovering and amplifying the voices of young wheelchair users, families, fundraisers, and supporters. 

You are experienced in managing and growing social media channels, with a strong understanding of what makes content resonate across platforms. You are equally comfortable leading the strategy and mentoring others as you are getting hands-on with multimedia content - filming, editing, photographing, and designing posts that capture attention and inspire action. 

You thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment, balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery. You are passionate about digital storytelling for social impact, proactive in spotting opportunities, and driven to create content that both reflects Whizz Kidz values and delivers measurable engagement and results. 

Key accountabilities

Content creation (hands-on focus) 

• Produce and edit high-quality multimedia content, including video, photography, graphics, and written stories for social media, website, email and campaigns. 

• Capture and tell authentic stories of young wheelchair users, families, fundraisers, and partners. 

• Ensure content is inclusive, accessible, on-brand, and optimised for each platform. 

• Lead content planning for campaigns, events, and organisational priorities. 

Content strategy and leadership 

• Develop and oversee the content strategy across all digital channels, aligned with organisational and team goals. 

• Set creative standards, tone of voice, and quality benchmarks for content produced across the organisation. 

• Mentor, guide, and support colleagues involved in content creation, fostering a culture of storytelling excellence. 

• Evaluate content performance and recommend new approaches, trends, and platforms 

Social media and digital channels 

• Own the social media strategy and day-to-day management across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. 

• Plan and maintain content calendars, ensuring a consistent flow of engaging posts, stories, and reels. 

• Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance, using insights to optimise content and engagement. 

• Stay up to date with digital trends and best practices to keep Whizz Kidz content fresh and impactful. 

Website and digital storytelling 

• Produce, edit, and maintain content for the Whizz Kidz website, including news stories, impact features, and campaign pages. 

• Ensure content across digital and print channels is accurate, consistent, and engaging. 

• Work collaboratively with teams to refresh and improve content across the organization. 

PR and media support 

• Support the Senior PR and Communications Manager with media activities, providing content expertise and ensuring all communications are on-brand, inclusive, and impactful. 

• Work collaboratively with teams across the organisation to source stories, assets, and insights for campaigns, social media, and wider communications initiatives.

Jangala is seeking an ambitious and strategic Fundraising Manager to sustain and grow our income from trusts, foundations and corporate partners. This is a hands-on role for an experienced fundraiser who enjoys translating complex work into compelling funding propositions and building strong relationships with supporters. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will lead on our trusts and foundations pipeline, manage key corporate partners, write high-quality funding applications and support the development of our stewardship and wider fundraising strategies.

This is initially a 6 month contract, with the aim of becoming permanent subject to funding. As Jangala is a growing organisation, you will also help shape fundraising tools/processes and there is potential for this role to evolve according to your skills, interests and development goals over time.

Jangala is a technology charity working to bridge the digital divide by providing essential internet access globally, with the goal of connecting 4 million people by 2030. Since 2015, we have directly connected over 140,000 people across 38 countries through innovative connectivity solutions and partnerships with more than 300 organisations, including UN agencies, government bodies and grassroots charities.

Our products, including Big Box and Get Box, deliver reliable Wi-Fi in challenging environments, from refugee camps to community hubs and digitally excluded households across the UK. Our annual income is currently around £1m, including five and six figure trust and foundation grants, six figure corporate partnerships and government funding.

Details of the role

Key responsibilities will include:

Trusts & Foundations

• Leading a pipeline of UK and global trusts and foundations and other grantmakers, including researching and cultivating new opportunities, developing proposals, coordinating internal inputs and submitting high-quality bids

• Managing relationships with our current funders, with a focus on stewardship, reporting and renewals, ensuring accurate, timely and engaging updates on progress and impact

• Working with Head of Fundraising to review our current pipeline, refine our trusts and foundations strategy and identify our approach for priority opportunities, including National Lottery

• Developing and implementing a clear stewardship strategy for trusts and foundation funders

Corporate Partnerships

• Account managing key corporate partners to maintain strong relationships and identify opportunities to deepen engagement over time

• Leading on partnership planning, relationship management, partnership storytelling, impact reporting and, where relevant, corporate volunteering activities

Fundraising Strategy & Support

• Working with programme and technology teams to develop a strong understanding of Jangala’s work and translate this into compelling fundraising narratives

• Supporting the Head of Fundraising with pipeline management, forecasting and fundraising planning

• Maintaining accurate records in Jangala’s CRM and funder tracking systems

• Contributing to the development of fundraising materials, case studies and impact content

• Representing Jangala at external meetings or events to raise our profile and expand our network

• Inputting into Jangala’s evolving fundraising strategy and income diversification

• Keeping aware of trends and innovations in the wider fundraising sector, identifying new opportunities and approaches for us to explore

The person we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser who is confident writing funding applications and managing relationships, and who is motivated by Jangala’s mission and values. Core Requirements:

• A strong track record in trusts and foundations fundraising, including prospect research, bid writing, stewardship and reporting

• Experience strategically growing funder relationships over time and identifying new income opportunities

• Ability to understand complex programmes or technical work and translate it into compelling funding proposals

• Knowledge of grantmaking trends, with a proactive and reflective approach to improving fundraising practice

Jangala’s office is based in London and operates a remote-first working policy. Travel to our London office will be required for mind-mapping and collaborative work at least once a week.

Level Water exists to solve a problem that shouldn’t exist: too many disabled children are still missing out on high-quality swimming lessons. 

Last year, our swimmers raised over £1m. This year we’ve sold out events in minutes and want to double the fundraising. We’re on the path to exponential growth and we need someone who can help us get there.

We're Level Water, a founder-led charity solving learn-to-swim for disabled children. We're not your typical charity. We own our events and run them like a business. We move fast, test everything, and we're building something that doesn't exist anywhere else. Our events are uniquely profitable, and we reinvest in quality and growth. 

We've just brought in a new Fundraising Director, and this Marketing role is a cornerstone of the team we're building. If you want to help define how a modern charity grows and does marketing, this is your chance.

What you'll actually do

This role owns marketing as a growth engine. You'll set strategy, drive execution across multiple channels, and be accountable for how marketing translates into event sign-ups, fundraising growth, profile, and impact. You'll work closely with the Fundraising Director to shape priorities, influence decisions, and build something that scales.

Drive growth marketing that converts

• Own end-to-end marketing for our events portfolio: from launch campaigns to sell-out.

• Build and execute multi-channel campaigns across social, email, paid ads, PR, partnerships, and whatever else works.

• Test everything. Audiences, messages, creative, channels. Find what works, double down, and scale it.

• Use data to spot opportunities: which channels are converting? Where are we leaving growth on the table? What could we do differently?

• Manage our digital advertising and paid social strategy with a ruthless focus on ROI.

• Grow our email database and social audiences with intent, not just for vanity metrics.

• Be trusted to repeatedly turn £1 into £5 or £10. 

• Define and unleash our audiences: help them share their stories in a way that turns experiences into future sales, and makes everything that Level Water does easier.

• Build and manage our captain and ambassador programmes as genuine growth engines - nurturing relationships, setting expectations, and turning influence into measurable impact.

• Proactively convert interest into action. This includes direct outreach (e.g. picking up the phone to captains, engaging top fundraisers, activating ambassadors) to ensure intent turns into ticket sales and fundraising.

Tell stories that build belief

• Find, shape, and share the stories that show our impact: the children, the families, the teachers, the moments that matter.

• Build and curate a library of content (video, photography, case studies, testimonials) that we can use everywhere.

• Work with freelance photographers and videographers to capture our events and programmes at their best.

• Create content that our supporters, partners, and prospects actually want to engage with, not just content that ticks a box.

• Manage our website (fundraising, events, and programmes pages) to ensure it's always up to date, compelling, and optimised for conversion.

• Ensure our impact reporting to donors is rich with content about our work.

• Use storytelling internally to build shared understanding, momentum and belief across the charity as we scale.

Build our profile and partnerships

• Position Level Water as a leader in accessible swimming and outdoor challenge events.

• Build and leverage relationships with press, influencers, local authorities, and stakeholders.

• Identify partnership and sponsorship opportunities that align with our mission and drive growth.

• Amplify examples of inclusion within our pools, making them known and also making inclusive practice visible.

• Promote our swimming pool partners and recognise their contribution to our work.

Manage, measure, and improve

• Own the marketing budget and get maximum value from every pound spent.

• Manage our freelance network: scope projects, review proposals, and ensure quality work on time and on budget.

• Report regularly on what's working and what's not: campaign performance, audience growth, conversion rates, ROI.

• Stay ahead of the curve: what are the best organisations doing? What can we learn and adapt?

What you will do:

The Investment Partnerships and Advisory manager will be responsible for day-to-day activities in relation to engaging with investors, business development and advisory project delivery work.

Budget Management

• With the Head of Comms & Individual Giving, set annual budgets and programmes of activity, actively monitoring performance against these and adapting approach as necessary

To enable Operation Smile’s global surgical activities, OSUK’s Partnerships Team works to maximise high-potential income channels such as corporate partnerships, major donors, community fundraisers and trusts and foundations.

We have an exciting position in our team for an experienced and ambitious trusts fundraiser. Working as part of the Partnership Team and line managing one Grants & Programmes Manager, the Senior Grants & Programmes Manager will secure critical income from new and existing trust and foundation donors through compelling pitches and excellent stewardship.

The position will build on existing multiyear relationships with donors giving at the six-figure level per year, aiming to grow their contributions, as well as making approaches to new prospects, working closely with the Director of Partnerships. The role is also the key liaison between OSUK and teams at Operation Smile Inc and in programme countries around the world, leading on donor reporting and sourcing programmatic information for new funding opportunities.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Trust and Foundation Funding Development

• Ensure achievement of annual income target for trusts and foundations
• Take primary responsibility for managing the current pool of trust/foundation donors, to ensure their growth and longevity – strategic input into the growth of each relationship will be essential

As Fundraising and Communications Manager, you’ll influence strategy while driving hands-on delivery. You will lead and develop our fundraising and communications functions, ensuring they work seamlessly together to increase income and engagement.

You’ll oversee the operational running of these two key areas, line-managing our Fundraiser and Communications Officer, and working closely with the management team to ensure our messaging reflects the impact of our work.

• Leadership
  • Supervise the Fundraiser and Communications Officer, supporting their development and ensuring effective use of resources.
• Fundraising
  • Develop and deliver strategies to grow income from individual giving, corporate partnerships, and community fundraising.
  • Create compelling campaigns and messaging aligned with CAAS branding and tone.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, and community fundraisers, providing excellent stewardship.
  • Develop and maintain a CRM system to manage donor relationships in line with GDPR.
  • Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and best practice.
  • Produce and submit reports to funders to demonstrate impact and accountability.
• Communications
  • Oversee the development and delivery of CAAS’s communications strategy, ensuring clear, consistent, and engaging messaging across all channels.
  • Drive storytelling initiatives by sourcing and sharing case studies and impact stories that inspire donors and the wider public.
  • Ensure all communications reflect best practice in accessibility, inclusivity, and neuro-affirmative language.
• Strategic Collaboration & Governance
  • Work closely with the CEO and management team to deliver a fundraising and communications plan that supports CAAS’s strategic objectives.
  • Prepare risk management, quality assessment, and process documents to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and evaluate output, outcome, and impact measures across fundraising and communications activities, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Provide written reports as required by the CEO and Board.

You may be required to attend events, so occasional travel is necessary.

About You

You’ll bring experience in marketing, ideally within charity fundraising, with a proven ability to grow income and deliver successful campaigns across multiple channels. You are:

• Skilled at crafting persuasive copy and using data to drive decisions
• Confident in managing projects, analysing trends, and leveraging social media for fundraising
• Highly organised, solutions-focused, and thrive in a busy environment
• Collaborative and clear in communication
• Creative, detail-oriented, and proficient with Microsoft Office and donor databases

Marketing Manager, Supporter Retention

Contract: Permanent | Full Time, 35 hours per week

Location: London UK

UK hybrid working – a minimum of 40% of working time is spent face-to-face (London office, external meetings or travel). 60/40 hybrid working at WaterAid means roughly three days wherever you work best and two days together in person

About the team

Our Supporter Marketing team is a dynamic group of creative and data-driven marketers, fundraisers and campaigners responsible for the broadest spectrum of marketing activity in the UK—from brand & DRTV TV, digital marketing, retention and engagement stewardship, integrated fundraising campaigns and mass public campaigning. We are pivotal in shaping the dialogue with the UK mass public and over 700,000 supporters - driving the mission to ensure everyone, everywhere has access to clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene. This role will be a key player in this integrated, high-impact team.

About the role

As our Marketing Manager – Supporter Retention, you will lead the development and delivery of the supporter experience, stewardship, and loyalty activity within the retention and engagement programme. Ensuring a consistently high-quality Supporter Experience. This role is responsible for strengthening the emotional connection to WaterAid’s mission and maximising Brand Loyalty and Love by driving the development and optimisation of all supporter journeys and stewardship communications.

In this role, you will:

• Supporter Experience Ownership: Act as the champion for the quality of the Supporter Experience, leading the coordination and optimisation of all automated, multi-channel supporter journeys (excluding direct appeals).
• Key Channel Delivery: Own the content planning, production, and delivery for core stewardship channels, including the Supporter Magazine, Welcome Journeys, and Feedback Communications.
• Email Programme Management: Own the day-to-day coordination of the email marketing schedule across all stewardship and engagement communications, ensuring effective sequencing and segmentation.
• Programme Cohesion: Work with the Senior Manager and Income Appeals Manager to ensure cohesion and alignment across all retention programmes, safeguarding a seamless supporter experience.
• Financial Contribution: Manage the assigned expenditure budget for the retention programme and contribute actively to annual planning and quarterly reforecasting to maximise retention benefits.
• Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.

Requirements

• Retention & Stewardship Expertise: Deep expertise in developing, optimising, and coordinating complex, multi-channel supporter loyalty programmes and automated journeys.

• Content & Experience Focus: Proven experience in improving the quality of the Supporter Experience and managing high-quality, long-form content production (e.g., supporter magazine) to foster loyalty.

• Operational & Technical Skills: Strong project management skills, experience in matrix management, and proficiency in working with CRM systems and email marketing platforms.

• Data-Driven Mindset: Experience in using testing, segmentation, and data analysis to drive optimisation and provide clear rationale for strategic decisions.

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• Product Development: Experience in New Product Development (NPD) for fundraising or loyalty programmes (e.g. legacy or emergency funds).
• Professional Qualification: CIM/IDM Qualification or equivalent professional qualification.
• Non-Profit Experience: Prior experience working in the Non-Profit or International Development
