Your role
We are seeking an Impact & Partnerships Coordinator to support Design for Good’s programme and project initiatives. We’re looking for someone who believes deeply in our mission and brings energy, strong project administration skills, and a genuine commitment to social and environmental impact.
You will work closely with project teams, programme staff and senior management to help deliver our impact and partnership strategy, providing essential coordination and administrative support across our innovation projects and global collaborations.

This role offers the opportunity to engage with an inspiring international network and support the delivery of impact-driven programmes that improve life through design.
You will work closely with the Impact & Partnerships Lead on day-to-day delivery and report to the Managing Director of Design for Good.
Key requirements

3+ years’ experience in project coordination, project administration, PMO or a similar role.

About the Role
This is a community facing role focused primarily on delivering facilitated LGBTQ+ peer support groups and wider community engagement activity. You will create and sustain safe, inclusive spaces where LGBTQ+ people can connect, build resilience and feel heard.
Alongside regular peer support delivery, you will support outreach, workshops and project specific activity in response to community need and strategic priorities. The role includes active promotion of groups and proactive engagement with under-represented and marginalised LGBTQ+ communities.

Young People’s Advocate - RECRUITMENT PACK
Hopscotch takes pride in working to support women and families facing racial and gender inequity in London. We take our trauma informed practice seriously, both with service users and within the organisation. We also run a successful Homecare service, with Care Workers taking care of vulnerable people in south Camden who draw on care.

Overall Duties of the Finance Officer – Accounts Payable will include:
- Recording all changes to carer payments on the finance system, on the carer’s purchase ledger account.
- Process carer pay in line with established timescales
- Prepare fee invoices to Local Authorities and other customers
- Manage the processing of children’s savings
- Recording of purchase invoices on the system and process BACS payments to suppliers
- Lead on and review aged creditors report

Our Restart Homeless and Rough Sleeping service provides targeted rough sleeping outreach, supported accommodation for 14 tenants and long-term guidance to help people to move forward and avoid returning to homelessness. Purpose of the Role

ROLE PURPOSE:
A key member of the finance and financial accounts teams, supporting colleagues and the wider charity by taking responsibility for maintaining elements of the financial records of the charity.

You will have experience in working in a finance team. Main core duty will be maintaining the purchase ledger. Shared tasks will be expected for payroll (training will be given). The individual may hold AAT qualification or be qualified by experience.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
Maintain Financial Records
- As part of the Financial Accounts team (two Finance Officers and the Financial Controller) take a share of the responsibility for maintaining the financial records of the charity, ensuring compliance with processes and technical and legal requirements, and safeguarding the assets of the charity.
- Provide support to internal and external stakeholders in operating or using/getting benefits from the outputs from your areas of responsibility.
Areas of responsibility will include: -
- Processing and payment of invoices and bank transfers, including foreign and urgent payments.
- Processing of donations from journals generated from the CRM system, reconciling to bank receipts, and resolving any queries or discrepancies in collaboration with the Supporter Care team.
- Bank and petty cash recording and reconciliation. Including bank account reconciliation on a weekly basis, petty cash and foreign currency. Submission of bank reconciliations for approval by Financial Controller.
- Enter expected cash outgoings into weekly cash flow document.
- Credit Card and Expense Claims (detailed below)
- Process Payroll (detailed below)
- Purchase and sale of foreign currency as discussed with Financial Controller.
- Monthly gift aid submission including generation of Gift Aid submissions, complete pre-claim checks, submission and reconciliation to receipts from HMRC. Submission of draft gift aid submission for approval by Financial Controller.
- Month End - (detailed below)
- Year End - As instructed by the Financial Controller generate reports and information to support preparation of annual report and audit file. Answer audit queries provided by the charities auditors.
- Maintenance of the organisation's fixed asset register, posting journals for depreciation, acquisitions and disposals.
- Monitoring of finance inbox and support organisation with requests for financial information.
- Provide Support to organisation with procurement and purchase ledger system Focal point.
- Update projects/funds on Dimensions.
- Maintaining accounting records for our subsidiary company, ShelterBox Trading.
Credit Card and Expense Claims
- Maintenance of the Company Credit cards, submitting requests for new cards, adjusting credit limits and cancellation of cards.
- Download credit card transactions and upload to Continia Expense system and submit to credit card holders for completion of expenses.
- Review, approve and post to finance system credit card expenses and claims for expenses using Continia expense system.
- The issuing and reconciliation of cash advances for ShelterBox Response teams.
- Provision of new credit cards for Staff/ShelterBox Response team's and deal with any issues.
Payroll
- Processing the monthly payroll with information provided by HR Department using Payroll Software and initiating payment and payslips to staff.
- Monthly submission of payroll reports to HMRC and process payment of PAYE, NI and student loans to HMRC.
- Maintenance of the company pension scheme, uploading details of monthly contributions. Dealing with issues and queries around this.
- Monthly reconciliation of payroll control accounts.
- Providing support to the HR team around pay, pension, loans etc
Month End
- Assist with timely month end process by completing work to meet monthly deadlines.
- Monthly reconciliation of income between CRM and Dimensions.
- Produce month end reconciliations for approval by Financial Controller.
Special Projects:
- Provide support to the Finance Team Managers and Director of Finance including undertaking special projects as requested.
- Providing financial team support on cross departmental projects as required.
Other responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to steer Asylum Aid at an important time in its 30-year existence. As Executive Director you will be responsible for delivering on our strategy for impact. The ideal candidate, who may be legally qualified, will have experience of leadership in the charity/NGO sector and a sound understanding of the asylum, human rights and trafficking processes in the UK and the legal frameworks which govern the protection of refugees, survivors of trafficking and stateless people, and of the role of law in achieving system change.
We are looking for someone who is strategically minded and passionate about providing supportive and inclusive leadership to our expert team. You will be committed to our objectives and to the role which expert legal representation plays in enabling people in need of protection in the UK to obtain it.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership and strategy
·Be responsible, with the support of the Helen Bamber Foundation Group CEO, for the development, implementation and monitoring of Asylum Aid’s organisational strategy
·Provide leadership and strategic direction at Asylum Aid in accordance with its aims and objectives, with the support of the Director of Legal Casework
·Act as external spokesperson for Asylum Aid, maintaining and strengthening Asylum Aid’s position as a leader in the refugee rights, statelessness and legal aid sectors;
·Work collaboratively with others in the sector to promote and strengthen Asylum Aid’s work, identify and establish potential partnerships, with the support of the Director of Legal Casework;
·Work collaboratively with the Helen Bamber Foundation Group CEO and Executive Leadership team to drive the implementation of the Group strategic framework;
·Ensure that all reporting and monitoring requirements are met to support fundraising, contract compliance and monitoring strategic impact;

Governance
·Act as the Data Protection Supervisor with responsibility for data protection and cyber security within Asylum Aid
·Together with the Helen Bamber Foundation Group CEO and designated safeguarding leads, be responsible for child and adult safeguarding within Asylum Aid
·In collaboration with the Director of Legal Casework, ensure compliance by Asylum Aid with all legal and regulatory obligations, including the Legal Aid Agency contract, the Immigration Advice Authority and Solicitors Regulation Authority;
·Lead on the preparation and presentation of quarterly reports on Asylum Aid’s activities, strategy and risks to the Asylum Aid Board, the Finance and Fundraising Committee and the People and Governance Committee;
·Lead on the preparation of the Trustees’ annual report and ensure that monitoring and evaluation systems are adequate to enable reporting on Asylum Aid’s activities and impact.
Management and Supervision
·Responsible for line management of the Director of Legal Casework and Welfare Advice service coordinator, and other team supervisors as required;
·Together with the Group Director of People, responsible for Human Resources and implementation of the People Strategy within Asylum Aid, including development and implementation of HR policies and procedures;
·Together with the Director of Legal Casework and team supervisors, drive the effective management and supervision of the Asylum Aid team and ensure that they comply with relevant professional standards and accreditation;
·Foster a supportive and inclusive team culture at Asylum Aid in which each member feels valued and supported to develop professionally and to perform to the best of their ability;
·Ensure the team’s well-being and that self-care practices are established and work in tandem with the Director of Legal Casework and supervisors to ensure trauma-informed ways of working.
Policy & Strategic Legal Work
·Together with the Group Director of Policy, identify policy priorities and coordinate the preparation of evidence and briefings drawing on Asylum Aid’s experience and expertise to influence system change;
·Build and maintain relationships and partnerships with sector colleagues to support joint strategic engagement including policy advocacy and strategic legal work;
·Work closely with the Director of Legal Casework and team supervisors to drive changes in the UK asylum, trafficking and statelessness systems through strategic legal work.
Finance & Fundraising
·Work closely with the CEO and the Helen Bamber Foundation Group Finance Team to set and manage budget(s) and general financial matters for Asylum Aid
·Together with the Director of Legal Casework and the Group Finance Team, establish systems for monitoring legal aid Work In Progress and billing, and securing casework income including legal aid, and inter partes income from judicial review cases;
·Work closely with the Helen Bamber Foundation Group Fundraising and Communications Team to secure funding for Asylum Aid from a range of sources including trusts and foundations, corporate philanthropy and major donors;
·Ensure that Legal Aid and other income is maximised, and targets are achieved.
Other duties
·Manage the recruitment and supervision of volunteers where necessary in collaboration with the Helen Bamber Foundation Group Volunteers Coordinator;
·Support the Helen Bamber Foundation Group Facilities team to ensure the smooth running of the office and that the facilities meet the needs of Asylum Aid;
·Work outside normal office hours as required and travel in order to carry out the responsibilities of the post.

Essential Experience, Skills and Knowledge
•Experience of running a small to medium sized charity/legal NGO and/or legal department within the NGO sector (or other equivalent senior management role);
•Demonstrable experience of managing and leading a successful team and the ability to manage a growing team with mixed roles from team supervisors to administrative support staff, working co-operatively with colleagues to maintain transparency and effective working relationships within the team;
•Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds
•Strong understanding of good governance including legal, regulatory and financial responsibilities;

Desirable Experience
·Experience of managing the delivery of frontline casework with people in the asylum or trafficking systems

- As part of the Financial Accounts team (two Finance Officers and the Financial Controller) take a share of the responsibility for maintaining the financial records of the charity, ensuring compliance with processes and technical and legal requirements, and safeguarding the assets of the charity.

Do you have experience supporting vulnerable people with complex needs in a Housing, Hostel or Supported Accommodation environment, and are you ready to take the next step into a supervisory role?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Accommodation Support Supervisor (18-month maternity cover) to join our Housing team, working to support some of the district’s most vulnerable adults to move on from temporary accommodation into longer-term housing solutions.
You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of Council-owned homeless accommodation in West Oxfordshire, ensuring high-quality, safe and well-managed services. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will help residents develop the skills and support they need to move on successfully, while also supervising and supporting a small team of Temporary Accommodation Support Officers.
This is a rewarding but demanding role, ideal for someone who combines empathy with professionalism, resilience and strong organisational skills.
What you’ll be doing
- Supervising and providing day-to-day direction to Temporary Accommodation Support Officers, with direct line management responsibility for two staff members
- Ensuring the efficient running of Council-owned homeless accommodation, maintaining high service standards and maximising occupancy
- Managing hostel budgets, minimising voids and ensuring residents are supported to claim the correct benefits and meet service charge requirements
- Carrying out and overseeing risk assessments, health & safety checks, and property inspections, ensuring repairs and issues are reported promptly
- Developing bespoke support plans for residents to help them manage their stay and move on into independent accommodation
- Supporting residents to access benefits, support agencies, employment, education or volunteering opportunities
- Managing and responding to anti-social behaviour, while maintaining positive relationships with neighbours and local businesses
- Representing the service at multi-agency meetings and contributing to alternative homelessness pathways
- Deputising for the Temporary Accommodation Lead when required
- Participating in an on-call duty rota (additional remuneration provided)
What we’re looking for
Someone who values structure, confidentiality and professionalism alongside compassion and support. You will be working with sensitive personal information and must demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding, GDPR and professional boundaries.
You’ll need to be resilient and adaptable, able to remain calm and confident when working in challenging environments or emotionally complex situations. Teamwork is essential, as is the ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
You will also need a sound understanding of housing legislation, including the Housing Acts, the Homelessness Reduction Act and associated guidance.
You will need
- A qualification equivalent to a degree or at least five years’ relevant experience in Housing, Housing Management, Supported Accommodation or a hostel-based environment
- GCSE Maths and English (grade C/4 or above, or equivalent)
- Experience of working with vulnerable people with complex needs
- Experience of supervising staff or supporting service delivery within a housing or support setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft and Google packages
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
Desirable
- A relevant professional or academic qualification
- Knowledge or experience of project management
- Membership of a relevant professional body
