- Duration: Temporary (approx. 2-3 months)
- Hourly pay: £14.80 per hour plus holiday pay
- Hours of work: flexible working around the core hours of 10am-4pm
- Working pattern: Full or Part-time, 28-35 hours per week (4-5 days)
- Location: Fully office-based, East Acton
- DBS: Required (completed after offer)
Charity People is delighted to be partnering with an arts and criminal justice charity to recruit for 2 x Data Entry Assistants.
This is a fully office-based temporary opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys structured, detail-focused work and can commit to a short-term assignment supporting an important annual project.

The Opportunity
You will support the charity with the delivery of its annual awards programme. Following the awards submission deadline, a high volume of application forms must be accurately logged into the charity's internal database. This temporary support is critical to ensuring that every submission is recorded correctly and can progress smoothly through the assessment and judging stages. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, detail-focused work and can commit to a short-term assignment with a clear purpose and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Entering high volumes of awards submission data from paper forms into an internal database
- Ensuring a high level of accuracy and consistency across all entries
- Supporting the smooth running of the awards assessment process
- Flagging inconsistencies or missing information and asking questions when needed
- Working collaboratively alongside two other team members
Person Profile
- Previous experience in an admin or data entry role
- Confident using databases or CRM systems (training provided)
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working with speed and accurancy at repetitive tasks
- Reliable and able to commit to the full duration of the assignment
- Happy to work fully on-site
