The post holder will lead on the hospital discharge work, regularly working out of St Georges hospital alongside the discharge team and hospital social care teams, providing information and support to Carers navigating the hospital discharge process.   

To provide safety planning, support, advice and assistance to women and their children who have experienced domestic violence and abuse and are staying in the refuge.

The focus of this role is on preventing domestic abuse by provide support, advice and assistance to adults and their children affected by domestic abuse and are staying in refuge/safe accommodation and ensure that they are provided with secure, high-quality accommodation. 

The post-holder will work to empower and support women and children to make positive choices and will establish resettlement services to support women and children to move on from refuge/safe accommodation.

To participate in the delivery of the on-call out of hours on a rota basis. There are 2 positions avaialbe one working with Adults only and the other working with Adults Children & Young People. Please advise of your preference when applying.

The Interim Head of Care will oversee the care services, providing line management, guidance and advice in all areas of standards, legislation, CQC requirements, safeguarding and KLOEs, supporting the Registered Service Managers to deliver the best possible person-centred care in an enabling environment.

The Meath Epilepsy Charity, whose aim is to enhance the lives of people who have complex epilepsy and related disabilities, by ensuring they receive the support, expert care and encouragement required to build confidence, acquire new skills and maximise independence in their daily lives.

You will hold an appropriate Health & Social Care qualification, QCF Level 5, with experience of inspection processes with CQC and be able to ‘hit the ground running’.

Your duties as the Head of Care, will include, but not be limited to:

• Act as The Nominated Individual for The Meath and the point of contact for the CQC.
• Operate as a member of the SMT in the implementation of senior management decisions, sharing KPIs, business goals and The Meath Values.
• Ensure The Managers maintain current knowledge of CQC compliance and cascade required information to all staff.
• Support the implementation of “I” and “we statements”.
• Report to and take a proactive part in the Health and Social Care Sub-committee of board of Trustees and support delivery of recovery plans.
• Keep CEO informed of all safeguarding incidents.
• Monitor staff numbers and rotas to ensure that The Managers are maintaining safe numbers of support and that 1:1 additional hours are provided.
• To supervise and manage the registered Managers and lead the Managers’ team meetings and briefings.
• Monitor and guide the Managers to maintain paperwork required under legislation, e.g. CQC framework assessment requirements, MCA, DOLs and Safeguarding.
• Regularly attend all services, to monitor standards and provide feedback to the Managers as appropriate.
• Encourage communication and best practice by promoting an open environment for discussion providing the opportunity for constructive feedback.
• Be available in emergency situations to assist and support The Managers.
• To be conversant with and implement the Meath policies and procedures, taking an active role in their review and ensure they are adhered to.
• In collaboration with the Head of Risk and Compliance, oversee the annual KLOE audit process and ensure actions are completed effectively.

Essential:

An exciting position has arisen for an initiative-taking, enthusiastic and well-organised individual to join the Charity team at Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. (Working title King George & Queens Hospital Charity)

This is a dual responsibility role, and the postholder will be at the heart of all charitable activities as part of the fundraising team. About Us

Advocacy Support Cymru (ASC) is a registered charity with offices in Cardiff and Swansea. We provide Independent Mental Health and Mental Capacity Advocacy Services across most of South Wales, employing 44 employees.

About the role

The post holder will provide support to clients who lack capacity and to implement the safeguards of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 or the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. They will provide non-instructed advocacy (NIA) support to people who lack capacity to make specific decisions and who have no-one else to support them. The successful candidate will travel efficiently and effectively within the Advocacy Support Cymru area of operation.

There are multiple posts available covering the Swansea Bay and / or Hywel Dda Health Board Areas.

About you

You will have significant experience working with vulnerable adults and/or children, either within health or social care setting, or indirectly, for example as a carer. You will understand and have experience of working effectively in an intra-agency context with Health and Social Care Professionals. Knowledge of the role of the Independent Mental Capacity Advocate as defined in the Mental Capacity Act 2005 is essential.

Working closely with Age UK's Network of 120+ local and independent Age UK partners, this role will support the delivery of projects across their life cycle, ranging from the implementation of funder-led reporting requirements to liaising with partners on the impact the project has had on their beneficiaries.

The successful candidate would enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and will demonstrate exceptional organisational skills to ensure the successful delivery of the projects. The role

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our regional programme staff and a global network of over 35 partners, providing technical design and digital product support and developing projects in line with partner and donor requirements.

The Digital and Design team is a central function within KTI, working closely alongside Impact and Safeguarding teams to support the delivery of global and regional frameworks and tools for our programmes. In this role you would be responsible for ensuring best practice for programme design and digital product development are prioritised in our regional delivery, as well as in the global tools and processes which inform and guide our work with young people.
