The Supporter Services Administrator is responsible for delivering excellent supporter care to existing, potential and previous supporters of Battersea, to develop relationships and maximise income for Battersea.

Main Purpose and Scope of the Job:
This is an exciting role in an ambitious and growing charity that supports all people affected by domestic abuse.
Working closely with the Business Development Director and Business Development Manager the Fundraising Manager will play a pivotal role in the creation, development and implementation of a robust and diverse fundraising strategy that contributes to the overarching income generation strategy, that meet both current and future operational needs

About the role
The Head of Marketing will play a pivotal role in strengthening the financial sustainability and social impact of our organisation. The Café – Nourishing Food, Nurturing Community
Our café is the social heart of The Bridge — a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive space where everyone can connect, share, and feel at home. Serving seasonal, plant-based meals prepared in-house, the café champions women-led enterprises and affordable, healthy food. It hosts many of our wellbeing and creative programmes, and through initiatives like the Pay-What-You-Can Supper Club, supports emerging women chefs and builds everyday acts of care and solidarity. The café has the opportunity to not only advances our mission of improving women’s health and wellbeing but also generates vital trading income and partnership opportunities.
While it currently operates at a deficit, it plays a vital role in advancing our wellbeing and community objectives. We are now focused on realising its full commercial potential. A feasibility study is underway to explore a range of operational and business models that will transition the café into a sustainable, profit-making enterprise. Plans include expanding income-generating opportunities through hosting more events, developing an external catering offer, and maximising use of the space for private hire and functions during weekends. Our professional meeting and event spaces are used by charities, community groups, and corporate partners for workshops, training, and strategic planning. With over 500 bookings a year and a 89% return rate, these rooms are known for their quality, warmth, and service. The income they generate supports our wider mission, while also acting as a catalyst for new partnerships and collaborations.
We now aim to build on this success by increasing utilisation on our most popular days (Tuesday to Thursday) and attracting new clients to fill capacity on Mondays, Fridays, evenings, and weekends. About the role
This is an exciting time to join Moorfields Eye Charity and work within an established prospect research team, be an integral part of a smooth-running fundraising team, and support the delivery of the charity’s ambitious fundraising programme.
Building on the success of the capital campaign and in line with its five-year fundraising strategy, the charity has ambitious plans to embed and create a step change in the role of philanthropy across the Moorfields partnership, transitioning from a fundraising programme with a core focus on capital support for the new centre to a programme supporting a broader, and more diverse, portfolio of research, education and innovation. The prospect research assistant will join a growing team and will contribute to increasing the size and quality of Moorfields Eye Charity’s prospect pipeline by undertaking high quality and insightful prospect research to help build and replenish our prospect pipeline.
You will provide valuable administrative support that will feed into improved systems and processes across our fundraising operations. You will have demonstrable investigative research skills and a methodical approach with effective organisational skills. The role requires good communication skills with the ability to present information in a variety of formats. The postholder will have prior experience in research and have the skills to produce accurate research reports and collect and process data in compliance with GDPR and other relevant legislation under the prospect research manager’s guidance. Role Description
Research and administration
- Work with the prospect research team to identify, qualify and profile new major donor prospects (including individuals, trusts & foundations and companies) in the UK and internationally by using a number of tools and research techniques to gain insight on prospective supporters, estimated wealth and philanthropic interest.
- To work jointly with the prospect research team to complete larger acquisition projects and work independently on special research projects in line with Moorfields Eye Charity’s fundraising strategy.

The Role
This new role of Fundraising Manager is a key part of the ongoing work to implement the Cathedral’s strategic plan. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the role will be vital in securing sustainable funds to support the Cathedral’s ambitious plans for growth. Main responsibilities include:
- Creating and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy
- Leading and developing the existing Patrons Programme
- Developing a pipeline to secure grant funding from trusts and foundations
- Introducing and leading a new culture of legacy giving
- Increasing the average donation per visitor and growing individual giving
The Person
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies that deliver financial growth. You will have experience in one or more of the following income streams; Trust and Foundations, Major Donor/ Patrons and/or Legacy Fundraising. You should be experienced in working to targets and managing budgets and possess a sound knowledge of fundraising regulations and legislation and GDPR.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. You should also be able to write compelling communications, including applications and proposals.
Previous line management experience is desirable, but most importantly, you should be collaborative, ambitious, and resilient, ready to drive projects forward. This is a diverse role with huge potential to build on historic success and shape the future of Ripon Cathedral!

Reporting to our Head of Student Representation and Partnerships, your main responsibilities will be to lead, coordinate, and evaluate student‑led campaigns that turn Bath Spa students’ priorities and lived experiences into visible, inclusive, and impactful action - empowering Sabbatical Officers, student leaders, and networks to deliver on their commitments.

BACKGROUND
Church of England Birmingham (CofEB) is on a journey of growing churches at the heart of every community. Through this we are seeing growth in many exciting ways. Financially we are at a challenging point. We have had an operational deficit for a number of years and this cannot continue. The National Church has agreed to partner with us around this through their Diocesan Investment Programme enabling us to have the time, and resource, to tackle this head on. One key aspect of this is for us to increase our Common Fund returns (the giving from our parishes that supports the costs of our life together). We are taking a radical new approach to our finances which includes intentional reallocation of income to support the costs in our most economically deprived parishes and deeper relationships with each parish around finance through conversation rather than correspondence. Over the next five years we are hoping to be able to move to a financially sustainable platform which will enable us to better serve our communities in the future.
We have recently recruited a new Head of Generosity (who is also Bishops Advisor for Common Fund) to lead on this work and we are now looking to recruit the team to work with them. The focus of the team is to develop long term relationships with all of our parishes leading to:
- Greater support for our parishes.
- Increased generosity by, and within, our parishes.
- Increased Common Fund.
The current plan is to recruit two Giving & Generosity Advisor roles and one Giving & Generosity Support Officer role. Together this team will work with all of our parishes to roll out our financial approach, through in person meetings, and the support that is on offer as part of this.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary focus of this role is to support the wider team in delivering this project. We have 146 parishes and the Head of Generosity will manage the team so that all parishes can be engaged as quickly as possible. It is the Head of Generosity and two Giving & Generosity Advisors who will be carrying out the in-person meetings with each parish. Those roles will work closely with a range of people, and teams, across Church of England Birmingham so that this work is integrated within our wider strategy and parishes are not confused by multiple disjointed initiatives. This will mean working with Archdeacons and Area Deans, Mission Support Team, Ministry Team, Property Team, Finance Team, Community Regeneration Team and Communications Team as well as others.
This role will manage the processes that enable the team to deliver and flourish.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Being the point of contact for parishes and other DBF teams as they will be the member of the team who are predominantly office based.
- Develop strong relationships with parishes, and other key stakeholders, to enable the establishment of meetings, support around Generosity etc.
- Be the first point of contact for parishes when they have questions around Giving and Generosity.
- Manage activities and processes that enable the project to function e.g. a scheme to loan out contact giving devices.
- Support in the creation of resources and communication pieces.
- Keep the teams external, and internal, communication streams up to date (including website, and praying together). Ensuring that the team has a presence in all key CofEB channels.
- Encourage and assist parishes in the implementation of the Parish Giving Scheme, introduction of contactless giving mechanisms and related diocesan resources.
- Support the scheduling and support for training. This will be for clergy, treasurers and others.
- Manage the collation of data and information so progress of the team is clear and evidenced.
- Undertake resource projects.
- Support the Head of Generosity to respond to new and emerging needs and opportunities.
- Ensure a regular flow of team meetings and communication between the team.
- Coordinate team wellbeing activities in line with agreed pattern and linked to the wider CofEB rhythms.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The post-holder will be employed by the Diocesan Board of Finance for a fixed term, ending on 2nd November 2030, subject to funding.

The role
Scottish Women’s Aid has an opportunity to join their Policy team. This is an exciting position where the role holder will be responsible for working on policy relating to children and young people and domestic abuse, violence against women and girls, and gender related topics. They will work closely with the Membership, Training and Communications teams.
Background
Scottish Women’s Aid is Scotland’s leading voluntary sector organisation working to end domestic abuse and promoting effective policy and practice responses for women, children and young people who experience domestic abuse. We are the umbrella organisation for 32 autonomous Women’s Aid groups delivering direct services to women, children and young people across Scotland.
What you’ll do
Working across third sector organisations you will build and maintain relationships to input to policy and influencing, as SWA as well as jointly with others. You will maintain good working relationships with civil servants, challenging ideas and find solutions where necessary.
The role includes inputting to and submitting consultation responses, researching and writing briefings, preparing for SWA to providence evidence in parliament, keep our communications team up to date with policy inputs and changes, and input to good practice stemming from policy changes. All of these roles, requiring great working relationships across the organisation, but especially with Membership, Training and Communications.
What We Need
- We’re looking for someone with experience in a similar role, with specific knowledge of the Scottish policy landscape and the potential that offers. We’re looking for someone who can work across domestic abuse as it relates to children and young people – examples include the Children’s Hearing system, child contact, the welfare system. We ask that you’re a self-starter, ready to apply these skills creatively to meet our strategic priorities. Excellent written and verbal communications skills go without saying: you’ll be skilled in the ability to engage confidently with a range of different audiences, and be adept at writing to suit them, working alongside colleagues across SWA and our members across the country.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Knowledge of the Scottish policy landscape
- Awareness and understanding of the feminist analysis of domestic abuse and the impact on women, children and young people
- Demonstrable track record of developing and writing successfully in a policy context
- Highly organised approach to effective planning, delivery and the development of applicable tasks
- Drive to make a difference in a fast moving time of policy

Annual Leave
We offer a full-time annual leave entitlement of 30 days (210 hours) per year plus 10 Public Holiday days (70 hours) per year. Leave is accrued at the rate of 3.33 days (23.3 hours) per month.
Pension
SWA believes it’s important that we help you save for your retirement so access to Nest pension scheme is given to all eligible employees. SWA contributes 10% of gross contractual earnings on the provision that the employee contributes a minimum of 3% towards their pension contributions.
Learning and Development
SWA supports and develops staff to ensure they have the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities. There is an internal schedule of training on key skills and knowledge relevant to all staff. There is also scope to attend ad hoc training for employees who are working to develop specific skills.
Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay
SWA offers staff who meet the criteria for Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP) an enhanced maternity pay of 20 weeks on full pay and 20 weeks on half pay.
Wellbeing
As part of SWA’s commitment to staff wellbeing, staff are offered access to a confidential 24/7 health and Wellbeing service with AIG which provides confidential advice, counselling and legal support to all staff, and where applicable, immediate family members.
