As Graphic Designer you’ll be responsible for showcasing the impact and reach of our work through a wide range of creative. You’ll be working in a busy Communications Team, as part of GWT’s wider Engagement and Fundraising Team, and will work closely with the Head of External Relations , in addition to building relationships with staff across the organisation.
You’ll develop creative across a range of communications channels, including digital and print. As our ideal candidate, you’ll be a strong problem solver, with a conscientious and collaborative approach. You’ll have an excellent level of attention to detail, communication and strong interpersonal skills.
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing a fluctuating workload, with the ability to balance creativity with pragmatism to meet the varied needs of the organisaiton.
As a member of the Communications Team, the Graphic Designer will plan and execute creative for a variety of projects and audiences, including to support GWT’s fundraising work. You’ll work closely with the Head of External Relations and Head of Supporter Development to shape ideas, develop concepts and articulate and refine our message through creative.
As a key brand guardian, you’ll work to keep the organisation unified, using and developing our brand identity effectively both internally and externally.

Job Purpose & Background:
CDP’s development team is ambitious, dynamic and at the heart of everything CDP does. As a Senior Manager, Philanthropy, you will focus on developing and managing strategic, high-value relationships with Trusts and Foundations. The Senior Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing a global fundraising strategy at a key time of organizational growth. Reporting directly to CDPs Head of Philanthropy, you are an independent thinker who can help grow and sustain grant funding from Trusts and Foundations.
You are the kind of person who gets out from behind your desk to meet people, influence and achieve long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships. You’ll need to be determined, tenacious and focused on results.
Who you are
- Must reside and be eligible to work in the locations stipulated above.
- You have a proven ability to build and manage philanthropic donor income streams, maximising the value of existing and prospective supporters.
- You have a proven track record of relationship building to secure grants at seven figure and above level.
- You have 5 or more years of fundraising experience, preferably with Foundations or High Net-Worth Individuals.
- You are able to understand diverse donor motivations and deliver a bespoke relationship to meet these and have demonstrable skill in adapting written and verbal communications for a philanthropy audience.
- You have excellent face to face, interpersonal, negotiating and persuasive skills.
- You are an effective communicator.
- You are confident working with senior stakeholders internally and externally, using tact and diplomacy.
- You have extensive experience of bespoke proposal and report writing for a philanthropy audience.
- You have excellent attention to detail, ability to analyse and prepare budgets. You are organised and methodical approach to plan and deliver against a varied workload, managing competing priorities under your own initiative and to strict deadlines.

Your day-to-day
You will support the execution of CDPs philanthropic fundraising strategy.
You will manage a portfolio of strategic, high-value donors, building strong relationships and implementing creative solicitation plans to maximise donor engagement and income.
You will research, develop and secure funding from new donors, with a strong focus on funders with a potential to give 7-8 figure grants.
You will develop an excellent knowledge of CDP’s work, liaise with colleagues to prepare and present high-quality information such as tailored presentations and proposals for the donor.
You will build excellent external working relationships at all levels with donors, their staff and networks in order to directly influence their decisions.
You will build excellent internal working relationships to engage staff at all levels in supporting donor stewardship to manage prospective and existing donors effectively.

The Social Media Manager is an integral role within the Marketing team at CoppaFeel! and will play an essential part in supporting our 3-year organisational growth strategy. About the Role
The Philanthropy Lead joins an energised and committed major gifts team covering trusts and major donors. You will have significant ambitions for developing and sustaining relationships with new and existing donors giving up to seven figure gifts.
This role is key to leading excellent stewardship of donors and the management of the recently re-launched 1766 Circle of benefactors. You will ensure that the organisation communicates the impact of it’s work by creating a compelling and thoughtful stewardship plan. You will then deliver excellent communications and touch points with some of the closest supporters to ensure they feel connected to and inspired by the charity.
Ultimately the role will lead ACT’s philanthropy stewardship programme through establishing slick systems, sympathetic and thoughtful donor engagement and a pragmatic approach to project management.

Communications:
- Develop, contribute to and implement impact-driven and strategic communications campaigns that build Kineara’s fundraising capacity and raise awareness of the issues

Established in 1936 and one of Scotland’s leading wildlife bodies, the Scottish Ornithologists’ Club is a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) with some 3500 members. Its purpose is to advance the study and appreciation of birds in Scotland by promoting their documentation, promoting interest in them, promoting their conservation, providing a focus for information about them and encouraging the appreciation of relevant creative arts.
The Club’s headquarters, which also feature a renowned ornithology library, wildlife art gallery and sales outlet, are in Aberlady, East Lothian. Fifteen nationwide Branches are led by members who organise events, outings and projects in their areas. Staff contribute a national series of events, conferences and training activities for members of all ages. The Club Manager will lead and oversee all aspects of running the Club, including its small team of staff, volunteers, an annual turnover of about £350,000 and assets which include built property (HQ). They will champion and drive forward the Club’s vision and goals. There will be emphasis on strong leadership to manage and support staff, volunteers and trustees; ensuring the highest standard of services to members; planning and reporting on the annual programme of Club-wide events and developing future priorities.
KEY OBJECTIVES:
