The Access Foundation is focused on making a real difference to people’s lives by awarding grants to charities which make a valuable and measurable positive impact. Our grant giving objectives fall into three categories:

to mitigate the digital divide by making computing facilities, support and learning available to disadvantaged and vulnerable people

to advance the charitable causes of the registered charities which are chosen as the "Access Group Company Charities of the Year"
-
to advance the charitable causes of charities for whom there is a strong emotional connection with a member of staff (e.g. through support they or a close relative have received from the charity)
The Foundation aims to achieve this via a fund from which it awards grants to other charitable organisations aligned with the principles above. You are a key member or the team that works towards our target to award grants to a total value of +/- £2 million each year.
The Access Foundation was set up in 2021 following the success and growth enjoyed by The Access Group over the previous decade. While affiliated with The Access Group in terms of its identity, The Access Foundation is a separate organisation, governed by an independent board of trustees and with its own objectives and goals.
The Access Foundation wants to fund projects and activities that make a real difference to people’s lives in the countries the Access group is active.To achieve our objectives, we are looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to help run and improve our operational processes.
Job objectives

Support the trustees in the due diligence and evaluation of each applicant and facilitate the decision-making process for each application
-
Support the ongoing evaluation process of all successful applicants and ensure agreed measures and outcomes are reported back to the Foundation in a timely manner

Manage the external communication of the Foundation’s successes back to stakeholders and supporters, as well as other channels on social media, such as Instagram and LinkedIn
-
Manage the communication with the Access Group and maintain an open channel of communication with the charities team at the Access group
-
Manage the Admin and Grants Assistant and ensure all Admin processes as well as operational processes are running smoothly and make changes where required
-
Manage the use of the accounting package Access Financials to ensure processes are followed and grantees paid on time.

Oversee the data collation for and write the impact report

Collaborate and work with the trustees and volunteers
Duties and responsibilities will include
-
Write regular reports to the trustees of new applications, applications in progress and outcomes, inform and advise the trustees to achieve a swift decision on all cases

Organise the publicity and communications around each successful grant, including newsfeeds, social media and website updates.

Liase with the Access Marketing team to support their own comms

Ensure financial accounts are accurate and complete

Liase with 3rd parties such as external suppliers and partners ranging from auditors to our financial partners

Draft Offer letters for the successful applicants

Recruit, Manage and Appraise the Admin and Grant Assistant

Attend trustees, volunteers and applications meetings

Manage the access controls for volunteers and staff
-
Oversee the financial accounts, approve invoices on our bespoke Finance system and deal with some financial accounting together with our Chair of the board of trustees
Skills and Experience Required

Organised, efficient and reliable with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneous

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels from junior to CEO

Computer literate with good knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.

We facilitate corporate and other investments from over 60 organisations into our community, education and employment programmes.
With over 35 years of experience enabling successful partnerships between businesses and communities, ELBA engages over 15,000 corporate employees in volunteer programmes that support employment, education and community initiatives. In 2023 the Community Works programme supported 126 charities and social enterprises through engaging employee volunteers in practical and skills-based volunteering opportunities.
Purpose of the job
To be responsible for the successful delivery of ELBA’s Dragon Award Nominated Evolve Project, delivering exciting, innovative employer-supported volunteering projects that meet the expectations of specific corporate supporters, and the needs of the community with a key geographical focus in Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Haringey.
About Evolve
The Evolve Project is a collaborative partnership between Linklaters, UBS, Societe Generale and the Societe Generale UK Foundation, delivered by ELBA. Overall, the Evolve project aims to address the wider barriers and challenges faced in society & by community organisations & charities with a particular focus on Hackney and its surrounding boroughs of Tower Hamlets & Haringey. The project does this through supporting community organisations who are addressing different barriers like post Covid recovery, and the cost-of-living crisis, alongside continuing challenges of funding & sustainability.
Evolve aims to build the capacity of thee organisations, especially supporting the leadership, so they can keep up with the increased demand they are experiencing. Evolve has been designed to dynamically respond to the changing needs of local community organisations, drawing on the time, skills and expertise of employee volunteers to address the most pressing community challenges. The project is currently in its fourth year with funding secured for the following two years.
The role requires an ability to build a close and collaborative relationship across the community sector, particularly in Hackney, as well as with the corporate funders. A key focus is developing and delivering a range of exciting employee volunteering activities (including the Leaders in Partnership and Emerging Leaders coaching programmes) as well as leading monthly delivery and quarterly steering group meetings with the three business partners to ensure volunteer engagement and session development is meeting the aims and objectives of the project.
The post will be managed by the Head of Programme, Connect which sits within the Community Works programme at ELBA. The post holder will have weekly one-to-one meetings for input and guidance to achieve agreed targets and will be subject to annual performance appraisals.

Job Description
Key Evolve duties
● Responsible for day-to-day development and delivery of the Evolve project
● Collaborate closely with community partners, corporate partners and the ELBA team to understand community needs and design appropriate employee volunteering activities to address these needs
● Deliver a range of employee volunteering opportunities focused on capacity building for local community organisations within the geographical remit
● Build and maintain strong relationships with Evolve partners’ Corporate Responsibility teams by organising regular meetings and responding promptly to company requests
● Develop and promote a range of employee volunteering opportunities to corporate partners and manage delivery of volunteer requests
● Organise delivery of monthly delivery meetings and quarterly project steering group meetings including preparation of supporting documents and minute taking
● Achieve good delivery targets of employee volunteers engaged and beneficiaries supported
● Maintain strong impact reporting for the project and long-term tracking
Main duties
● Build effective working relationships with ELBA corporate partner organisations to understand their business and functions, culture and priorities, generate opportunities suitable for their employees, manage expectations and deliver on activities in support of programme and project goals and objectives
● Identify and build relationships with a range of community stakeholders, including charities, community groups, social enterprises and grassroots organisations
● Assess organisational needs and develop creative corporate volunteering opportunities to meet the needs and build the capacity of community stakeholders
● Source, place, train and manage cohorts of corporate volunteers in line with business plan and project targets
● Identify a range of corporate volunteering opportunities that can facilitate large-scale participation and/or collaboration for ELBA corporate partners
● Generate regular communication items such as an annual report, programme impact reports, articles, write awards nominations and case studies and maximise the use of social media platforms
● Work with the Community team to ensure programme materials are kept up to date
● Implement effective evaluation and impact measurement tools in line with ELBA corporate partner requirements, ensuring that evaluation informs best practices to ensure continuous improvement
General
● Adhere to ELBA’s safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
● Develop a broad knowledge of regeneration programmes and local authority priorities in east London and specific geographical area
● Support the wider Community team with the planning and delivery of key events
● Support Connect Head of Programme to align Evolve’s offering with the wider Connect programme
● Use ELBA internal systems to maintain records and report progress, including due diligence and volunteer recording via Salesforce within set timescales
● Ensure that effective project management systems for monitoring and evaluation are in place and keep detailed records
● Complete monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required
● Proactively generate case studies, news articles, photos and social media content to promote the work of ELBA in line with ELBA communication targets and protocols
● Collaborate with other ELBA colleagues on projects where appropriate, and contribute to the development of ELBA as an organisation overall

Energise Sussex Coast is a community benefit society. Our mission is to work together to end fuel poverty and protect the environment through community led local green power & energy saving schemes.
We are looking for an energetic and creative person to organise and deliver a calendar of engaging and inspiring energy and climate themed events and outreach activities across East Sussex. The events will cover the following themes: saving and sharing energy, insulation, solar and batteries, renewable heat, funding energy efficiency measures, creating healthy and mould-free homes etc.

Responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with the ESC team and stakeholders to design a programme of inspiring energy and climate themed events in Hastings, Rother, Eastbourne, and Wealden, reaching a total of 1000 residents across the year.
- Create engagement opportunities for your team at the events and activities of other organisations and local groups by networking and working with the Communications and Marketing person to promote our services.
- Find interesting speakers and organisations to participate in our events.
- Create public events for our No One Left Behind project, finding new, exciting ways to engage the public in conversation about energy and climate topics.
- Manage the administration and logistics of the events, including room bookings, ticket booking processes, etc.
- Look for opportunities to invite our funder along to events and participate in the activities.
- Manage relationships with staff team and volunteer Energy Champions on local events.
- Create event plans and risk assessments for each event.
- Work with the Marketing and Communications Officer and local volunteers to plan PR and promotion of events to agreed timelines.
- Create and work to agreed budgets.
- Ensure you are collecting the data needed to monitor and evaluate the project.
- Create inclusivity in the event registration and attendance experience to support people with a variety of needs.
- Ensure events feed into the wider work and services of Energise Sussex Coast.
- Provide event reports to manager detailing the number of attendees, write-up of the event, and feedback.
- Provide general assistance with ESC events and projects as required.

- Attend monthly in-person team meetings in Hastings.
Key Details
• Hours: 30 hours a week, flexible working. Will include some evening and weekend work.
• Job location: Home based (or optional hot desk in Hastings) with regular events in Hastings, Rother, Eastbourne and Wealden. This locally-cherished landscape of rolling farmland on the edge of Bristol is the strategic setting for delivering local environmental and social priorities.
Main responsibilities
● Leading on stakeholder engagement for the landscape recovery project, including:
○ Designing and delivering engagement workshops
○ Gathering and baselining landowner data and existing farm practices
○ Ongoing landowner engagement
○ Collating and incorporating landowner feedback
○ Homeowner liaison with those living within or adjacent to the project site
○ Outreach, engagement and events, working alongside our Outreach and Communications staff

○ Working with other team members to ensure our impact is communicated in a clear and concise way

○ Increasing our impact by being on top of emerging research, techniques and data to improve what we do
○ Dissemination of learning to help other projects
● Leading on a 20-25 year monitoring and evaluation plan for the Lower Chew Landscape Recovery project, whilst contributing to other plans, including:
○ Assessing and identifying learning opportunities
○ Incorporating baseline data into the monitoring and evaluation plan
○ Designing and establishing the monitoring and evaluation plan
○ Identifying future monitoring requirements
○ Packaging and disseminating learnings

Main Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver a structured programme of enjoyable, recreational, high-quality activities to meet the needs of children and young people with additional needs and disabilities who attend Short Breaks clubs
Lead and line manage a team of workers and volunteers, and to assist in the recruitment and training of the Disability sessional team
To coordinate and take responsibility for the planning, allocation of places, and staffing to ensure safe delivery of Short Breaks clubs
Have responsibility for processing of new referrals, initial assessments and individual care plans and any associated risk assessments
To develop strategies and behavioural support plans for young people attending activities and access YMCA Disability Services
To be aware of Ofsted requirements and ensure Short Breaks clubs for children are compliant, with ongoing monitoring
Administer medication for children and young people with health needs and undergo relevant training and transfer this knowledge onto the staff team
Work closely with individual children and young people and their families to identify a range of social, recreational and leisure activities to meet the needs of young people and children
Ensure that all young people are made to feel valued and enabled to develop and improve self-esteem, life skills, self-confidence and positive experiences
To gain young people’s feedback and capture their voice in shaping and evaluating future club sessions
Work as part of the delivery team, initiate programmed activities, alongside additional opportunities
To be responsible for the Health and Safety of children, young people and staff, above all, ensuring that Safeguarding Children and Safeguarding Adults at Risk policies are adhered to
Provide information, guidance and advice for parent/carers about local services for young people and families

DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose:To coordinate and deliver an exciting range of Short Breaks activity clubs for children and young people aged5 - 17 with additional needs and disabilities at weekends and school holidays.
Hours of work:35 hours per week including one evening per week.
Term time hours: Wednesday – Sunday 09:00 – 17:00 or Tuesday – Saturday 09:00 – 17:00
School holidays hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00
Location : Based at YMCA Sovereign Centre, Slipshatch Road, Reigate, RH2 8HA. Managing Short Breaks Schemes located in Epsom.
Annual leave:Starting allowance - 25 days plus Bank Holidays
NB: School holidays are key delivery periods and annual leave is not usually agreed during these periods.

Purpose of the Role
The Digital Marketing Manager will implement and help develop a new digital marketing strategy, crucial to the ongoing development of ArtsEd’s profile and reputation and the successful delivery of all our programmes.
Understanding the needs of current and prospective students and pupils and their parents, and being able to identify digital plans and initiatives which will enable ArtsEd to meet both the long and short-term needs is a central aspect of the role.
The Digital Marketing Manager will lead in the planning and implementation of digitally creative and customer focused campaigns and will be responsible for the achievement of student and pupil recruitment targets. They will work closely with senior staff and the rest of the Marketing team to deliver highly effective experiences to all stakeholders and potential stakeholders.
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the continuing development of ArtsEd’s online profile amongst all of our target audiences, including high-level industry connections, potential supporters and the local community, alongside potential students, pupils and parents.
In addition, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring that ArtsEd’s messaging is consistent, innovative and compelling across all platforms.
Digital Marketing
- Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising campaigns in collaboration with the wider marketing team.
- Use digital marketing expertise to create effective user funnels to optimise conversion rates, tracking user behaviour in order to refine processes.
- Collaborate closely with staff across the organisation to identify storytelling opportunities to ensure a full understanding of ArtsEd’s broad range of target audiences.
- Set up digital advertising campaigns through Meta, Google Ads and other platforms
- Utilise excellent graphic design skills to collaborate with the team on the design and delivery of different digital campaigns for all stakeholder groups. This will include mass e-mails, social media posts and digital collateral as required.
- Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
- Monitor social media communications (both comments on posts and direct messages) and respond in a timely and appropriate manner.
Design & Brand
- Be a guardian of the ArtsEd brand, ensuring correct and effective use of our branding and house style both internally and externally.
- Ensure all digital information is accurate, up to date and relevant.
- Ensure ArtsEd embraces and celebrates diversity and inclusion through all digital marketing touchpoints.
- Develop and manage image library including liaising with relevant staff to select images, co-ordinating in-house photography and film requirements, up-dating plasma screen and fulfilling external requests for images.
- Ensure all touchpoints communicate ArtsEd visual identity. Working with the wider Marketing team to review and implement ArtsEd brand architecture structure on digital platforms
Graphic Design
- Create print and digital advertising material using Canva or similar software.
- Design and create in-house digital signage and support the Marketing Officer where needed.
- Support the print production process, liaising with printers and publications, proof reading and adapting print collateral as required.
Recruitment
- Lead on the implementation and delivery of a robust digital marketing strategy to optimise student and pupil recruitment across the whole organisation. This will include:
- Building on existing digital activity to maximise its reach and impact against all of our target audiences, including digital and associated print advertising.
- Managing an associated programme of recruitment focused events and activities, both virtual and face-to-face, to raise our profile and to maximise our enquires, registrations, applications and acceptances across all of our activities.
- Supporting the relevant teams in the delivery of this programme, which will include existing activity e.g. Day School and Sixth Form Open Days, degree audition days and our outreach programme.
- To programme our email marketing conversion communication using software Mailer Lite/MailChimp
- Overseeing the production of all marketing collateral.
Social Media
- Overseeing the planning and delivery of a social media plan that aligns with and enhances all strands of the marketing and communications strategy
- Create engaging and content drive social media assets.
- Oversee and a schedule the delivery of day-to-day social media content
- Work with the marketing officer to Launch as short form video content strategy for all platforms with aligns with the Marketing and organisations strategy.

Website
- Manage through line managed staff all aspects of the ArtsEd website, ensuring that it remains relevant to all users at all times. This will include:-
- Ensuring factual content is kept up-to-date, imagery and video is regularly refreshed and that the overall site reflects ArtsEd’s unique offer.
- Identifying opportunities to create and update brand focused content

Market Analysis/Planning
- Review and analysis of data to identify competitor tactics, market trends, new opportunities and challenges.
- Ability to understand different audiences and relevant content to ensure successful conversion rates and enhance the student and stakeholders experience.

- Complete quarterly digital impact reports
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).

The Events Officer plays a key role in our highly effective communications team, leading on the delivery of an impactful programme of events – both online and in person. Communications Strategy
- Lead the development and socialisation of an effective organisational communications strategy and implementation plan

Platform management:
- Manage and develop ENN social media platforms for optimal visibility, engagement and impact, working with donors and collaborators to proactively engage their platforms and networks towards mutually beneficial ends

- Review and deliver performance indicators across all relevant platforms to ensure SEO and high user engagement is measured
Content:

- As a member of the FEX editorial team, provide specific and tailored input and support to ENN’s flagship publication Field Exchange (FEX) on style, brand, design and presentation of print and on-line content.

Essential requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification or experience preferably in media, journalism, science health or humanitarian communications, digital production, marketing or public relations

Terms and Conditions
Type of contract: Permanent
- Location: Office-based, with the opportunity to work from home 1 – 2 days a week. ENN’s office is in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.
- Holidays: 25 days plus UK Public Holidays, increasing by one day per annum after two complete years of service to a maximum of 27 days per annum. Pro-rata for part-time staff.
