Prospectus are excited to be working with the our client to help them recruit for a New Business Development Consultant to join their Partnerships team. The foundation is an independent, non-profit charitable organisation working in partnership with a range of other organisations from the private, public and NGO sectors. They were set up in 1996 by the internet industry to provide an internet Hotline for the public and IT professionals to report potentially criminal online content within their remit and to be the 'notice and takedown' body for this content. The organisation works to eliminate child sexual abuse imagery online, preventing the ongoing victimisation of those abused in childhood and making the internet safer for all.

The role is offered on a flexible 1-year part-time contract basis (0.6FTE) with a salary of £55,000 per annum pro rata with a flexible hybrid or remote working model between home and their Cambridge office.  

This new role will help drive income growth for their Partnerships Team through preparing compelling written proposals, tender submissions, and grant applications. The post holder will collaborate with the Director of Development and Head of Partnerships to select appropriate projects for funding.  This role is ideal for someone who thrives on identifying prospects, managing a ready-to-go pipeline, relationship building, and closing deals. They will support with diversifying income through trusts, foundations, philanthropy, corporate partnerships, and sponsorships.

They are looking for someone with a demonstrable track record of securing new income and business in terms of five & six figure grants and gifts from Trusts, Foundations and HNWIs. They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience in pipeline management and writing high-quality applications. The ideal candidate will have a personal interest and demonstrable experience in child protection and/or the not-for-profit sector.

The main purpose of this role is to support rough sleepers on the RBWM housing pathway. The resettlement team help service users to maintain their tenancies and remove the risk of homelessness.

A solid understanding of safeguarding and how to respond appropriately is essential.

Experience working with individuals who have experienced homelessness, rough sleeping, or temporary accommodation is required, particularly those with complex needs such as substance use, mental health issues, and offending histories. The candidate should be familiar with recovery principles and approaches, and committed to empowering service users to make informed choices and work toward independence.

You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, including supporting the induction of peer staff and volunteers. An awareness of lone working and health and safety practices is important, alongside motivation to uphold professional standards and use management and peer support to maintain resilience. Good IT, literacy, and numeracy skills are essential, including proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and email communication.

About the role:

Would you like to manage a service that makes a positive difference to the lives of vulnerable older people and their carers? We have an exciting opportunity for a manager of our Day Care Service in Maldon. This is a part-time role offered as part of a job share arrangement. You will have experience of supporting people with dementia, whether gained in a professional capacity or as an informal carer. Management experience is preferred but not essential.

Maldon Day Care Service provides an opportunity for older people to mix socially in a safe environment and engage in stimulating activities with the support of trained staff and volunteers. A varied activity programme caters for a wide range of interests including quizzes, singing and gentle exercises, and a cooked lunch is also provided. Day Care also provides a vital respite break for family Carers. The role of Day Care Manager involves overall responsibility for the service, and management of experienced and dedicated staff and volunteers.
