Carers’ Hub plays a vital role in Lambeth, supporting the many unpaid carers across the borough with 1 to 1 and peer support, signposting, training, workshops and social activities. Our work stems from the fact that carers often go about their roles despite the toll it might take on their own wellbeing, often having to make sacrifices that hamper their own ability to lead a normal life. Whether financial, educational or otherwise, we seek to limit the challenges that carers face. We achieve this through four core workstreams:

About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Office Administrator to join our team. To manage the overall running of the Carers’ Hub office, including overseeing HR admin, implement policy and procedures, including Health and Safety, maintain administrative processes, manage stakeholders, serve the trustee board, and work closely with the Carers’ Hub team in the implementation of events and projects.
The Office Administrator role will provide a wide variety of operational support to the Carers’ Hub Leadership Team as we develop our offer and increase the number of carers who access our services. This job description will be reviewed on a regular basis and may be subject to change, particularly as the needs of the charity change.

As the Office Administrator you will be responsible for managing the overall running of the Carers’ Hub office and administrative processes.

The Speaker Network and Education Manager oversees volunteer Speakers, coordinating talks and workshops delivered face-to-face and online. These sessions engage community groups such as schools, faith groups, and youth organisations, reaching thousands annually, raising awareness of WASH and inspiring support for WaterAid’s fundraising and campaigning work.
About the Role
As our committed and experienced Speaker Network and Education Manager,
you will:
- Manage the day-to-day running of the Speaker Network and volunteer Speakers and overseeing Administrators who coordinate and process Speaker requests.
- Lead and manage the Speaker Network, recruiting volunteers and training them to deliver high-quality talks and workshops.
- Develop, deliver, and maintain educational resources, including Key Stage WASH curriculum materials, ensuring best practice in language, design, and child-friendly visuals.
- Manage operational processes and systems, embedding best practice in volunteer management, GDPR compliance, and safeguarding.
- Monitor performance, manage budgets and KPIs, and contribute to reporting, evaluation, and future planning.
- Lead on strategic initiatives, contributing to the development of a unified volunteer stewardship journey across WaterAid.
Person Specification / To be successful, you’ll need:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and people-focused individual who can inspire and support volunteers. You will have:
- 5+ years’ experience recruiting, developing, and managing volunteers, ideally in education or community engagement.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR, safeguarding, and volunteer best practice.
- A natural ability to inspire, motivate, and support volunteers to deliver high-quality talks and workshops.
- Experience developing and delivering training and/or educational resources.
- Strong organisational, planning, and evaluation skills, including monitoring, reporting, and process improvement.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Experience managing Key Stage educational resources and/or working with freelance educators or writers.
- Understanding of WASH programmes, policy, and campaigning.
- Ability to identify practical opportunities to strengthen the Speaker Network and increase volunteer engagement.

1. Business Offer development for HENRY

With colleagues in Business Development, ensure HENRY has a clear, costed and attractive offer for localities wanting to deliver HENRY in partnership.

Lead an annual review of costs and prices of our training, programmes and licensing to remain cost-effective, competitive and value for money.

As part of Business Development team, work with team members and Finance to ensure timely and clear understanding of income through license fees, training commissions and resource sales.

Remain abreast of the needs of commissioners to ensure HENRY remains agile and relevant in its offer in supporting babies, children and families lead healthy, happy lives

2. Contract Development, Management and Compliance

Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts and licenses, from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal in line with legal, regulatory and organisational policies.

Take responsibility for establishing contracts when a new local area is onboarded, working closely with the Partnerships & Commissioning Manager and Head of Business Development.

Ensure data sharing agreements are in place, reviewed and adhered to, working closely with the data protection leads.

Manage ongoing relationships, additional services (such as training commissions) and renewal discussions with existing HENRY areas, monitoring compliance with contractual obligations and taking appropriate action where commitments are not being met.

Collaborate with local Service Managers and National Family Support Lead in direct delivery areas to manage commissioner relationships and ensure service commitments are met and proactively identifying opportunities for contract extensions or expanded services.

Review and analyse contracts to identify risks, opportunities and improvements.

Work with colleagues in Family Support and Data and Evaluation Team to ensure reporting is timely, accurate and aligned with contractual obligations.

The Services Manager will be responsible for leading a variety of services currently including the Flourish (asylum seekers and refugees) contract and the Primary Care Network contract. As the services grow and develop, other services/projects may sit under this post.
About the role
The role requires travel across Hertfordshire to our Wellbeing centres, community partnerships and external organisations and is responsible for a team of staff and volunteers who work within Complex Needs and Community teams across the county.
As a Services Manager you will be an integral part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and work in partnership with Complex Needs Team Leaders and the other Service Managers across the Charity. Reporting into the Director for Complex Needs and Community you will be directly responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of two or more of our Services and a key member of the Herts Mind Network Safeguarding team.
Responsibilities of the post
- Support the Director of Complex Needs and Community with effective running of the complex needs and community services.
- Build strong relationships and liaise with commissioners and partner organisations.
- Manage the Flourish and PCN contracts.
- Work closely with all key delivery partners across the system to ensure the service is responsive, inclusive and easy to access.
- Support the development of services by promoting and being responsive to changing needs.
- Oversee the recruitment and management of client facing staff.
- Be a strong safeguarding level 3 champion and manage/support referrals.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are current, understood by staff and that they are working within these policies and procedures.
- Monitor outcomes and evaluate the service, ensure all KPIs are met.
- Process referrals and manage and prioritise all administration tasks associated with the service, including Payroll and expenses submissions.
- Be part of the Senior Management on call rota (out of hours), attend SMT meetings as required and support the work of the wider SMT.
- Maintain and enhance service delivery standards and effectiveness.
- Contribute to the service development by working alongside the Directors to evaluate service delivery and produce progress and monitoring reports.
