We are a small but vastly experienced team of family support/volunteer Coordinators, delivering highly respected volunteer-led home visiting support to families in the early years.
We are looking for someone to provide direct support to families and also recruit, train and support a team of local parent/carer volunteers who will provide weekly home visiting and community support to families.
You will work with other professionals from universal and specialist services to provide a coordinated response to families’ needs. You will assess need and risk prior to carefully matching volunteers with families or offering direct support, working as part of multi agency support, ensuring information sharing and safeguarding is at the forefront of your work. This will include instigating Early Help assessments, preparing for and attending Child in Need and Child Protection meetings.
You will have an understanding of recruiting, carefully selecting and managing volunteers to ensure they feel supported and fully trained to offer effective support to families in order to get the best outcomes for the family and in particular the children.
You will be experienced in working with families in their own home - skilled in recognising and responding to safeguarding concerns, be apt in completing strengths-based assessments and conversations and have a deep understanding of the issues families can face and the link with childhood development and difficulties they may experience later in life.

Person Specification
Experience and knowledge:
- Experience working in a partnership, coordination, or programme support role within a charity, public-sector, or health-related setting.

About the Role
We're looking for an Activities Coordinator to join our Independent Approved Premises (IAP) based in Havering. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new service which works with offenders as they are released from prison. It is a community based setting, rather than custodial where residents can go out in the community, depending on their Licence restrictions.
You will play a major part in reintegrating our residents back into the community by coordinating and delivering high quality activities and programmes which work to support individual needs, working in collaboration with the wider team. Some activities may vary but could include days out and visits, awareness days/weeks/months campaigns, cultural celebrations and other meaningful activities to encourage reintegration, and enhance social skills and community engagement.
About You
We are looking for someone who has a passion to support vulnerable people in making a change, supporting their rehabilitation and providing opportunities for them to make positive change to their lives, to reintegrate into society. You will have a general understanding of the criminal justice system, and/or have experience supporting people with multiple/complex needs. The two regional roles currently available are fundamental to the delivery of the third phase of the Seed Sovereignty Programme across southern and western England.

The Compassionate Neighbours Manager will lead the day-to-day running of the Compassionate Neighbours programme across Greenwich and Bexley, helping people nearing the end of life to live as well as they can for as long as they can through meaningful community connection. This includes managing the Compassionate Neighbours Coordinator and ensuring the successful delivery, growth, and sustainability of the programme. The Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space (MHCBS) team at Toynbee Hall is part of a national initiative launched in partnership with We Are Group and The Kaleidoscope Plus Group, funded by the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS). This service provides individuals undergoing mental health crisis treatment with temporary protection from debt collection activities, allowing them a “breathing space” to focus on their recovery without the immediate pressures of financial obligations. Job purpose
To provide administrative and coordination support to the MHCBS team, ensuring accurate data entry, documentation processing, and effective communication with partners and service users.
Scope of role
The Administration Coordinator provides crucial support to the Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space (MHCBS) team by managing administrative processes efficiently. The role focuses on handling key back-office tasks that enable the team to deliver timely and accurate support to clients and stakeholders.
Key working relationships
The postholder will report to the MHCBS Advice Manager and will work closely with other members of the MHCBS team. There will be regular communication with internal colleagues and external stakeholders such as creditors, mental health professionals, and referral agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate team inboxes and triage emails to appropriate team members or stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate responses within SLAs – handling routine enquiries as standard and more complex enquiries as directed.
- Coordinate team tasks in AdvicePro, resolving issues, issuing or preparing correspondence, and highlighting urgent or non-standard cases for direction and resolution.
- Ensure CRM is maintained with accurate client and case information, running reports for management to review cases, prepare MI returns and support invoicing routines.
- Resolve or triage enquiries via the Insolvency Service portal, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Process incoming MHCBS applications and handle scheme closures using standard operating procedures, escalating non-standard issues or cases for direction and resolving issues.
- Support accurate reporting by ensuring high data integrity and flagging inconsistencies.
- Coordinate administrative needs for team meetings, external engagements, and cross-agency communication.

The person who currently leads ADUKs education and training work is moving into an exciting new role within our team. We’re now looking for someone marvellous to take on part of their work, alongside some exciting new initiatives we want to develop. We’re not looking for a direct replacement - we want someone who will relish the opportunity to shape and grow this role into something truly impactful, supporting our work and strengthening the sector.
Key Purpose: The postholder will play a key role in strengthening knowledge, understanding, and best practice both within the sector and externally with service providers and the public, helping to remove barriers for assistance dog partnerships.
Internal focus: Coordinate the learning and development of ADUK member organisations, ensuring access to high-quality resources, training, and support to maintain knowledge sharing and best practice development across the sector.
External focus: Deliver education engagements and training to stakeholders, including businesses, service providers, and the public, through ADUK’s wider education initiatives and the new Corporate Allyship Programme.
Key Responsibilities
Learning:
- Manage ADUK’s shared Learning Management System (Moodle) and training platform, supporting members to make the most of the available content and resources.
Knowledge Sharing:
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers from member organisations and candidates to identify learning needs and expertise.

Education Delivery:

- Experience in managing learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning tools, (preferably Moodle based LMS)
- Excellent organisations skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and coordinate multiple organisations and stakeholders.

- Confident relationship building skills.

Quakers in Britain is looking for a Faith in Action Coordinator to help strengthen and grow grassroots Quaker activism for positive social change. This is an ideal role for a ‘people person’ who is passionate about empowering others.
You will be working to strengthen a faith-driven movement by taking action on a range of peace and justice issues. You will bring a flexible, problem-solving approach to the work, providing advice and support to Quakers working on local projects and campaigns. You will help to build a stronger network of Quaker activists, who are inspired by faith and can learn from and support each other.
Building and nurturing good relationships is key to this role. You will need to respond with empathy and sensitivity to the needs of individuals and groups and identify how best to support them in their work. You will also need good organisational skills and be able to reflect on and learn from your work to inform future planning. The Faith in Action Coordinators also work with the wider team to contribute to newsletters and web and video resources to support Quakers to take action for climate justice and peace.
Experience in community development or community organising approaches would be an advantage, but skills are more important than background for this role. We welcome applications from candidates with a diverse range of experience.
