At Qube we are working in partnership to make a difference in Shropshire by providing volunteer brokerage and governance support to voluntary groups and organisations.

The role of the Volunteer and Infrastructure Officer is to support the Volunteer and Infrastructure Team Lead within the Voluntary and Community Support team providing high quality information, support and expertise in infrastructure support opportunities available to groups and organisations within Shropshire.

They will promote volunteering and encourage new volunteers to come forward for the benefit of Shropshire groups, organisations and communities. Provide governance advice, support, and guidance to local community/charitable groups and organisations, including support to staff/volunteer managers on volunteer recruitment and retention and develop working relationships with community led/based local groups to support future growth and sustainability.

They will also offer and make aware training opportunities and provision to support group and organisational compliance and safety.

This is currently a fixed term position until 31st March 2025 with extension possible dependent on further funding. 

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a collaboration partnership project between TCC, Wrexham Citizens Advice, and Wrexham Foodbank. This project will work to reduce poverty and the impact of poverty on people living in Wrexham.

The project coordinator role will be supported by management from the three partnership organisations.

The project coordinator will be responsible for the management and coordination of the project including budgeting, planning and implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. They will coordinate the project partners and wider stakeholders to support an influencing campaign in Wrexham funded by Lloyds Bank Foundation England and Wales.

Key Tasks Include:

• Raising awareness of the problem of poverty and its structural causes amongst those living and working in the county
• Making local elected officials, policy makers, and local organisations aware of the drivers of poverty and encourage them to take steps to alleviate these drivers
• Running community workshops, training, and other engaging activities to partner with people, including those with lived experience of turning to poverty support organisations (such as a food bank)
• Think strategically about how best to bring about change locally, working with a range of stakeholders, and enabling local people to engage with local policy makers
• Collaborative working – bringing the partner organisations together in a strategic and creative way
• Coordinating the setting of agreed project milestones with partners and track progress
• Being the main point of contact for all partners
• Coordinating partnership meetings (confirming chair, finding meeting venue, sending invites, setting meeting  agendas, and distributing notes)
• Preparing presentations and reports with input from all partners
• Coordinating and implementing monitoring and evaluation of the project
• Being the main point of contact for funder
• Managing project budgets and finances alongside the project finance lead
• Ensuring people with lived experience and grassroots organisations can input meaningfully

Terms and Conditions:

• The project coordinator will be employed by TCC (Trefnu Cymunedol Cymru/ Together Creating Communities).
• Annual leave starting at 23 days holiday per annum pro-rata (plus statutory bank holidays pro-rata),  increasing 1 day per year of service up to a maximum of 30 days pro rata

About the role:

Kinship is in our third year of delivering the first national peer support service for kinship carers in England. We are looking for a new Associate Director of Peer Support and Community to build and develop our model and to take the team to the next phase of growth and impact.

Your first priority will be to oversee delivery of the Department for Education national Peer Support Service contract in England. You will lead the development of our hub and spoke model, with an enhanced offer of national resources and support together with a continued focus on on-the-ground support for kinship carers to set up and sustain a network of peer support groups. You will ensure all members of the team have clarity and are empowered to meet new targets and ways of working.

The role will also lead on the strategic development of peer support approaches in Wales (for which we are seeking funding), ensuring innovation and good practice is shared across the nations.

Kinship peer support groups are powerful levers for change in local, regional and national ecosystems. Your team will ensure that every kinship carer in England and Wales has access to a peer support group, or support to set up and create their own. The team will be purposeful about offering developmental support to all kinship peer support groups, including independent groups, ensuring they remain or become sustainable. And that they have resources, training and peer networks to support this.

Reflecting our strategic focus on developing our Kinship Community of more than 10,000 kinship carers across England and Wales, you will lead a new community strategy, co-ordinating the development of opportunities for community connection and community power. This will include taking leadership for developing the Kinship model of community engagement and integrating across all our ‘in person’ and digital services and activities.

You will ensure a collaborative approach with services, alignment with national and local campaigning activity, and work closely with marketing and communications colleagues to support kinship carer reach and engagement with our community offer.

We’re taking an integrated approach to our services, so you’ll collaborate well across teams to ensure that support groups and their leaders have easy access to high quality advice, information and training. The team will need to work closely with colleagues delivering our new training and support contract, funded by the Department for Education.

Key responsibilities include:

• Innovation of the Peer Support Service.

• Develop and rollout peer support and community strategy and operational plan. 

• Implement monitoring and evaluation and impact tools for timely and accurate reporting of activity and engagement.

• Work with the Development team to develop proposals for the community and peer support which are ready for fundraising and business development.

Essential requirements include:

• Substantial experience in scaling a national service or programme with high quality outputs. This includes overseeing delivery, strategic planning, budgeting, managing delivery, meeting KPIs, stakeholder engagement and reporting to funders.

• Experience of governance and managing risk on high profile service delivery.

• Experience of effective budget management.

• Significant experience of leading the development and delivery of peer support services.

The Refugee and Migrant Forum of Essex and London (RAMFEL) is one of the largest immigration and asylum advice charities in the UK, supporting refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants to access justice. An OISC level 3 accredited organisation, we represent clients at all stages of the immigration and asylum process, up to and including the Upper Tribunal of the Immigration and Asylum Chamber.

We also actively campaign for a fairer and more humane immigration system. RAMFEL caseworkers therefore have the opportunity to work on systemic and strategic challenges and support broader advocacy work.

Purpose of the role: 

The purpose of the role is to assist some of the most vulnerable people in our society. Contract duration: Fixed term until 31 March 2025

Hours of work: The role is primarily a full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours per week. However, for the right candidate, we may consider accommodating part-time working hours. Specific Responsibilities

Case management 

1. Manage own caseload, working to advance the best interests of the client
2. Adhere to standards set out by OISC/SRA and AQS to deliver high-quality advice
3. Provide representation and advice up to OISC level 2/3.
4. Engage with the Line Manager to create and follow a training plan to ensure compliance with OISC CPD, keeping up to date with changes in law, policy and guidance to ensure clients receive accurate and high-quality advice
5. Liaise directly with the UKVI and related governmental agencies
6. Complete forms, letters and immigration applications
7. Liaise with and refer clients to Legal Aid Solicitors or other advisers, as appropriate
8. Manage clients’ expectations by discussing deadlines, outcomes and timing 
9. Deliver legal advice outreach surgeries/drop in as and when required 
10. Progress cases in a timely manner in line with regulatory requirements.
11. Implement organisational priorities into day-to-day casework.

Person Specification 

Education/qualifications

• Ideally candidates must be Solicitors with IAAS Level 2 with at least 1-year immigration experience or OISC level 2/3 qualified
• If OISC level 1, the candidate will be expected to initially work under supervision completing level 2 work and qualifying at level 2 within 6 months. (Training is provided and study leave is accommodated.) Upon obtaining a higher level of accreditation, the candidate’s salary will increase in line with RAMFEL pay scales.
• IAAS level 2 caseworkers (non-solicitor) will be considered but if appointed must be prepared to work under supervision and qualify at level 1 within 6 months. Experience/knowledge

•  Experience in providing high-quality advice and representation to clients

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Evidence & Engagement Manager to join our team. We need you to accelerate our impact by driving the translation of early diagnosis, treatment and innovation evidence into policy and practice, through planning, delivery and oversight of a comprehensive, proactive content and comms plan across a range of health professional and health system audiences and channels.

What will I be doing?

• Driving the development of our early diagnosis, treatment and innovation content and resources for a range of health professional and health system audiences, making the most of what we know and have and ensuring key messages are reaching our audiences and having an impact

• Developing and overseeing the delivery of an internal and external content plan, profiling Cancer Research UK's thought leadership across different areas of the cancer pathway and facilitating the translation of evidence into policy and practice

• Building strong relationships with key content, audience and communications teams in both the development and delivery of the plan

• Maintaining oversight of resource development, such as those aimed at health professionals, and ensuring a strategically-relevant and impactful portfolio of content and resources

• Liaising with evidence and health system engagement teams to identify and drive opportunities to support health systems audiences across the cancer pathway, bringing creativity, insight and positivity to the task

• Leading on the review and design transformation of our existing health professional webpages

• Managing communications on behalf of the Strategic Evidence team to key audiences, both internally and externally

• Contributing to content sign-off with a focus on impact, accessibility, tone of voice and design

• Developing and managing direct reports, including setting clear development objectives and appraising performance.

• Expertise in health/public health coupled with sufficient breadth of understanding of other areas to hold credibility with others in policy and research communities

The Head of Youth Engagement & Participation is a key senior leadership role at Peer Power Youth. Responsible for leading the youth engagement team (YET) across all aspects of safe and supported youth engagement (individual change) and ensuring youth voices contribute to tangible and meaningful system change (participation/system change).

The Young Partners we engage and connect with, have experience of justice and care/looked after systems. We work across London and Southeast regions, with occasional national events. Our work takes place in the community and in secure settings (examples include -HMYOI Feltham, Oasis Restore Secure School, and Secure Children’s Homes).

About IKWRO

IKWRO –Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO) is an award-winning charity founded (as the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation) in 2002. IKWRO is a registered charity which provides advice and support to Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan women and girls living in the UK, who have experienced, or are at risk of all forms of “honour” based abuse, including; forced marriage, child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM), or domestic abuse.

We work with women and girls of all ages, including lesbian women, bisexual women and trans women. We offer services in Kurdish, Farsi, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Turkish and English. IKWRO offers free advice, advocacy and counselling services and operates a refuge which provides safe accommodation and specialist support to single women at risk of “honour” based abuse, forced marriage and domestic abuse.

IKWRO also provides training for women and girls to help them understand their rights in the UK. In partnership with other organisations, we assist survivors of abuse with accessing English language classes and education, training and employment opportunities.

As well as supporting women and girls directly, we offer advice and training for professionals from the statutory and voluntary sectors, to better understand the needs of the women and girls we represent, the types of abuse they experience and to provide best practice prevention and support services.

Purpose of Job

The Fundraising Officer will work as part of the Fundraising and Marketing team and will be responsible for:

• Nurturing relationships with existing and prospective donors

• Sustaining and developing our group of individual and community-based supporters.

We are looking for a vibrant outward thinking and dynamic Project Co-ordinator who is self motivated and can work with minimal supervision on an exciting project that will provide evidence and information for future funding applications. 

Overall Purpose of the role:

 The Project Co-ordinator will be responsible for liaison with the Project Team and consultants on the delivery of a number of studies and activities as part of a National Lottery Heritage Fund award. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

· New Jetty Project

•  Lead on the New Jetty Project reporting to the Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager
•  Revising project work plans for the Jetty Project as appropriate, to meet changing needs and requirements with Management Team.
• Business Plan and Feasibility Study
• Supporting Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager on managing the day-to-day operational aspects of The National Lottery Heritage Fund resilience project. 
• Ensuring the Management Team keeps to schedules and agreed project plan. 
• Collect and organise data that is required for Management Team and Consultants
• Monitor expenses ensuring budgets are not overspent.
• Keeping details of all budgets.

· To create and maintain a log of work records, in an agreed way, ensuring all tasks are undertaken within pre defined time parameters

· Maintaining an online filing system for all elements of work plan

· Scheduling and attending meetings where required.

· Being the key point of contact for The National Lottery Heritage Fund

· Manage own diary and annualised hours contract.

· Update Social Media as requested.

General:

· Be proactive in identifying and reporting all activities.
