Purpose of the Job
Oversee the planning and delivery of a portfolio of trusts and foundations funders, that maximise income potential and provide relationship management for a number of key accounts, providing impact reports and associated benefits
Devising, implementing and attending a variety of national Stewardship events as and when required and leading and supporting depot visits for potential and existing funders. Develop a range of engaging, innovative and persuasive proposals that capture the ambition and vision of the charity.
Provide continuous reviews of plans and/or funding agreements managed by the trusts and foundations team to ensure appropriate levels of stewardship and undertake research to identify potential funders, both within and outside of the UK and maintaining an effective pipeline designed to undertake detailed prospecting and identification of targets needed to deliver long term income.
Provide development of key relationships with Network partners to provide support and guidance on national funders and identifying new funding opportunities and actively participate in budget setting and quarterly forecasting
The ownership of identified funding for specified projects and create, maintain, and disseminate as appropriate.
Duties & Responsibilities
·Experience of working in a regulated environment and demonstrable risk assessment capabilities
·Significant experience of working with trusts and grant funders and a good understanding of the UK funding landscape, in a management/line management position
·Proven track record of meeting challenging targets, securing multi-year business and increasing income from existing funders
·Strong financial acumen, with the ability to work with complex budgets and production of associated grant reports
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in writing proposals and presentations, with the ability to engage at all levels with diverse stakeholders
·Proficient level of IT skills, specifically Microsoft Office applications
·Experience of managing projects or varying scale and scope

The Fundraiser - Corporate & Events will play a pivotal role in enabing Deafblind UK to achieve its goals - helping us to reach more supporters, inspire long-term giving, and raise vital funds through corporate partnerships and charity-led fundraising events. Reporting to the Fundraising Development Manager, the Fundraiser - Corporate and Events will be responsible for growing our existing supporter base and driving engagement, loyalty and income through innovative corporate fundraising activities and charity-led fundraising events. You will be responsible for implementing fundraising strategies, coordinating campaigns, and developing strong connections with businesses in order to generate income and meet targets.
The role includes helping to market and promote Deafblind UK events, with a focus on writing compelling copy for online and offline promotion. BIAS is a leading local Irish charity which has supported England’s largest community in Brent for over 45 years. We deliver our support across London through our welfare advice drop-in service, our active ageing clubs and our Be-a-Friend volunteer scheme. This is an exciting new role in which you will proactively generate and grow fundraising income across all fundraising streams to enable us to continue supporting the most vulnerable members of the Irish community. You will support our fundraising strategy by contributing to digital communications and creative content across all channels, in cooperation with project delivery teams. The role will play a central part in raising awareness and growing supporter engagement through digital campaigns, donor events, individual giving initiatives and the development of relationships with local businesses.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver BIAS’s community fundraising strategy.
- Develop and implement a varied portfolio of events, community fundraising activities and campaigns, all of which reflect the spirit of BIAS.
- Explore marketing opportunities to raise the profile of the charity.
- Ensure relevant processes are in place to deliver successful, profitable community fundraising activities.
- Oversee the management of fundraising systems and platforms in order to create the best possible experience for donors and participants.

To achieve these objectives, the post holder will be expected to:
- Plan, budget, coordinate and attend an annual community fundraising and events calendar with set objectives, budgets and KPIs for each activity.
- Regularly review the performance of fundraising activities/events, making recommendations for improvement.
- Build and maintain a variety of community relationships across varying stakeholders.
- Explore and coordinate fundraising opportunities such as online donation platforms, auction platforms and text-to- donate services.
- Work with colleagues to ensure that all events are adequately supported with staff, volunteers and post-event debriefs.
- Ensure that all events and activities are compliant with the Code of Fundraising Practice, GDPR and internal policies.
This job description reflects the basic duties required of the Fundraising Manager. However, it is necessary for all staff to be flexible and you may be required from time to time to perform other reasonable duties which are required for the efficient running of the organisation. Adoption UK is undertaking a major digital transformation, initially focused on CRM and Website developments. About the role
The Corporate Partnerships Officer will play a key role in this growth, managing and securing new corporate partnerships with support from the Corporate Partnerships Manager. Our corporate partnership income has grown from zero in 2020 to c£2.3 million in 2025. It is a very exciting time to be joining the charity and our Fundraising team.
Primarily, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of corporate partnerships, growing strong relationships, delivering partnership activities, and proactively securing new corporate partnerships, including charity of the year relationships. • Key operational lead, deputising for the Head of Individual Giving and Legacies, taking responsibility for the planning and delivery of campaigns and activity across channels and supporter journeys.

• Digital Proficiency: Demonstrable expertise setting up and managing campaigns in Meta Business Suite, Google paid advertising, and email marketing platforms like Mailchimp.
