We are looking for a Refuge Worker to provide specialist, high-quality support to women and children escaping domestic abuse. Based in Southwark, London, this role involves delivering practical and emotional support to survivors, ensuring their safety, and helping them rebuild their lives. Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, you will create a safe and welcoming environment in line with Refuge’s values and commitment to ending violence against women and girls.

As a Refuge Worker, you will support women through crisis, providing keywork sessions, safety planning, and advocacy. You will assist with accessing housing, welfare, legal support, and other essential services while maintaining accurate case records. You will also play a vital role in ensuring the effective operation of the refuge, managing referrals, and working collaboratively with partner agencies. • Facilitate data analysis to provide ClientEarth with a clear snapshot of the current and prospective partners (at global, regional and jurisdictional levels) relevant to ClientEarth’s strategy and the level of alignment / contribution to ClientEarth’s theory of change.
• Steward, manage and oversee best practice in partner engagement and provide insights and input to support the organisation’s partnership approach.
• Support the operationalisation of the Impactful Partnerships Strategy and the recommendations of the Partnerships Roadmap (which might include a staff engagement plan).

An exciting position has arisen for a Head of Finance to join an excellent Community Foundation on a permanent basis. The postholder will be reporting directly to the CEO and will be part of the executive team, leading a team of 7.

Responsible for:

To assist in providing an efficient and effective Welfare Benefits service within the various foodbank hubs to assess eligibility, maximise income and review and appeal decisions as appropriate. Required to provide advice through various service delivery points, including outreach locations.

Main Responsibilities:

The Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA) is the national charity for people affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom. 

We are looking for a Digital Communications Coordinator to cover maternity leave and to support our busy Communications team.

The Digital Communications Coordinator is a key role within CLAPA, responsible for implementing our digital communications strategy to engage and inspire the UK cleft community. This role moves beyond content creation to take ownership of CLAPA’s digital communications across social and email platforms, ensuring online communications are strategic and data-driven. We are looking for an Engagement Manager (East of England) to join us on a fixed term contract, for 12-months, to cover maternity leave.

About the role

The key purpose of the Engagement Manager role is to deliver regional Sight Loss Councils across the East of England and to engage with blind and partially sighted people across the region.  We currently have two Sight Loss Councils (SLCs) in this region, so the postholder will be expected to care-take and develop both SLCs, focusing on the retention of the volunteers engaged and making sure the projects and work they are involved in, continue with success. You will also be managing and developing stakeholder relationships across all the areas in which we work including transport and health sectors, as well with local authorities and arts and culture venues in the region.

About you

You will have the passion and ability to use your lived experience or experience to influence change, for the benefit of blind and partially sighted people. As an experienced volunteer manager, you will engage and lead Sight Loss Council members in the implementation of the region’s business plans to bring about change across transport, health and the built environment, as well as areas of local interest such as arts and culture or retail.

You will be a self-starter and work well on your own but will also enjoy being a part of a team of other Engagement Managers across the country, with whom you can learn from, as well as share good practice with.

The Content Officer develops and produces sector-leading content creative output to deliver against Brand and cross-organisational objectives.

Overall objectives:

• Working with emerging content design principles to ensure all content starts with user needs.
• Providing production support in close collaboration with the Content Specialist and Production Officer, the Marketing and Communications Directorate, and cross-organisational teams.
• Writing, filming, and editing own creative content that aligns closely with strategic and business objectives and briefs to ensure the Content team continues to deliver best-in-class work.
• Providing creative expertise and skill sharing to teams across the organisation for smaller business as usual photography and video.
• Applying content design thinking to ensure content meets user needs and drives engagement.
