About the role:
Our Communications and Engagement team is responsible for engaging external audiences, supporters and beneficiaries in PACT’s work and fundraising challenges.
As our Communications and Engagement Officer you will play a valuable role in shaping and sharing compelling content that brings PACT’s mission to life. You will:
· produce PACT communications and marketing materials that reflect our values and demonstrate our impact. This includes a programme of social media engagement, regular newsletters, press releases, internal communications, creating content for the website and capturing illuminating lived experiences for the variety of channels.
· ensure that all internal and external communications align to our brand
· raise awareness of the PACT brand and our services
· contribute to PACT’s fundraising targets with appeals and challenges

To be a successful Communications and Engagement Officer, you’ll have skills and experience in using:

This is an exciting opportunity for an Events and Community Fundraising Executive to take responsibility for supporting the delivery of the Whizz Kidz third-party events portfolio, including the London Marathon and Great North Run, and supporting our community fundraisers to raise vital funds.
You will support our events from set up and planning, recruiting and stewarding supporters whilst maintaining an excellent level of supporter care. We are seeing a growth in the number of fundraisers, so it is an exciting time to join Team Whizz Kidz.
Key accountabilities as our Events and Community Fundraising Executive include:
• Being the first point of contact for enquiries from events participants and community fundraisers

The person

THE VACANCY
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Agreements Section Assistant to join the team at the ITF. About the Role
The Agreements Unit Section Assistant will be responsible for processing of ITF Agreement applications, monitoring consultations, assembling and verifying evidence in support of beneficial ownership; representing the ITF to ship-owners, affiliates and inspectors in connection with agreement processes and related matters; responsible for identifying source of cash receipts relating to Welfare Fund, including unallocated cash receipts and membership fees and preparing special agreements and related documentation.
The Assistant will work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve ITF Agreements and other issues; secure the active interests of ITF’s aims and objectives and provide narrative reports for relevant decision-making bodies including constitutional and non-constitutional entities within ITF structures.
About the You
A professional, with Maritime background, or have previous experience working with the Agreements team and trade union experience are desirable. Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel at intermediate level; broad experience in general administration and data inputting as well as knowledge of and experience working on database such as Microsoft CRM. High level communication skills, both verbally and in writing are key requirements, plus a proven ability to develop positive relationships with organisations and individuals across diverse cultures. Due to the nature of the organisation and the role, speaking a second language would be an advantage.

The Operations Coordinator will play an important role in the smooth running of the day centre and night shelter. Volunteers

In this role, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for our incredible supporters who are ‘doing their own’ fundraising and you’ll also play an important role in the day to day running of the mass ‘DIY fundraising’ programme.

Do you want to use your skills to make it possible for people with myeloma to live longer and better lives? We are looking for someone with experience of delivering high quality supporter journeys and delivering fundraising projects and activities to join our Legacy & In Memory Giving team. About the role
The Legacy & In Memory Giving Fundraiser will help support and deliver the Legacy and In Memory Giving fundraising strategy. You will have compassionate communication skills, especially when talking to supporters who are recently bereaved and you will develop and deliver outstanding stewardship programmes that offer support and drive retention.
This role requires using data and insight to help deliver the Legacy marketing programme, whilst also supporting the day-to-day Legacy and estate administration, dealing with solicitors, legal representatives and executors. You will proactively develop In Memory Giving fundraising, maximising the fundraising products, channels and messaging already available, as well as identifying new opportunities that are suitable for the Legacy & In Memory audience.

Job Purpose:

Specific Tasks:
- Act as a reliable first point of contact for Members, handling queries received by email, post and over the telephone efficiently and politely.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate member data within the database (Microsoft Dynamics 365) including accurate servicing and storage of all membership renewals, new joiners, lapsing/ reengagement and donation processing.
- Ensure all data is held and processed in accordance with BC’s Data Protection Policy and individual communication preferences.
- Responsible for ensuring the timely and smooth running of the membership welcome and renewal communications (email and post), liaising with contractors and keeping all letters and emails up to date and relevant.
- Responsible for the process to contact members who’s payments have end (sometimes referred to as lapsed) aiming to reengage and minimise attrition.
- Work with colleague to continue to develop the membership offering across all membership categories – student/young person, family, single, joint, benefactor and life memberships.
- Work closely with the Database Support Officer to ensure all database processes work effectively and accuracy of the data is always maintained. Investigate queries and raise issues where necessary, assuring a satisfactory outcome. Create and maintain guides on database process as appropriate.
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of regular reports on membership numbers to BC’s 32 Branches.
- Liaise with Branches on newsletter distribution – hard copy and email - including proofing content, obtaining print quotes and requesting data extracts to supply directly to our printer / mailing house.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with relevant branch volunteers, including providing timely responses to queries and requests for additional information. Ensure Branches are kept up to date with all membership recruitment campaigns and changes to subscription rates etc via the quarterly Branch e-newsletter
- Contribute to the creation and distribution of branch emails including welcome and newsletter communications from branches to members.
- Maintain accurate records of total membership numbers (individual and household) through the database. Collate a monthly membership update for the Chief Executive and Director of Fundraising and Comms detailing new and leaving members and working with the Head of Supporter Fundraising to include an explanation of trends and anomalies.
- Assist with the accurate recording of income into the database, following BC processes in areas including cheque and cash handling.
- Work with the Finance Team on monthly reconciliation of income recorded on the CRM with finance software information (ensuring correct allocation of income etc).
- Assist with the preparation of the annual membership audit reconciliation to explain any discrepancies and payment exceptions for all membership categories and income
- Ensure sufficient stock requirements of all membership leaflets, welcome pack contents, membership incentives and any other literature required within allocated budget
- Distribution of membership application forms, promotional codes and resources to staff, Branches and the public as required.
General
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators and prepare information for the Head of Supporter Fundraising.
- Attend meetings and events as required.

We are looking for a permanent and full-time member of staff to help develop and communicate RSTMH’s role within tropical medicine and global health. We need a passionate and creative communicator who can play a key role in meeting our communications objectives. This role is office-based in central London, with the option to work from home on Mondays.
RSTMH is a membership society formed in 1907, with around 1,800 members and Fellows in over 100 countries. We work to improve tropical medicine and global health by enabling and promoting research, sharing knowledge and convening networks through our members and Fellows and beyond. The Communications Manager will have the opportunity to develop and enhance RSTMH’s reputation as a credible and trusted voice in tropical medicine and global health.
This is a wide-ranging and exciting role. You will lead on implementing the organisation’s communications strategy, working with the leadership team to ensure it meets the aims of the wider RSTMH strategy. You’ll maintain and further develop the website and social media platforms, build links with media contacts, and source, commission and develop content. You’ll manage relationships with key suppliers, including website developers, strategic partners, digital media and creative agencies. You’ll also be responsible for delivering RSTMH’s newsletters to our members and Fellows, and global network of supporters.
