About the role

The Activism Events team help us achieve our goal of building a powerful movement of human rights activists across the UK by leading on the strategic development and implementation of Amnesty UK's dynamic Activist Events Programme: a series of large-scale public-facing events held across the UK which support Amnesty's mission of developing an inclusive, powerful and diverse human rights movement.

The Activism Events Organiser is accountable for leading the creative and artistic production of Amnesty's large-scale activist events. They will work closely with AIUK activists to programme and curate exciting, inspiring and affirming human rights content, and design engaging and empowering event

The Activism Events Organiser will bring significant events expertise and will work with Amnesty activists across complex public-facing events to enable, connect and inspire them to use their skills, knowledge and passion to organise, curate and deliver impactful human rights events. These events could range from conferences, film screenings, public stunts, cultural events or panel discussions.

The day to day of this role involves developing, guiding and leading activists in the curation and organisation of their events. The Events Organiser will build and manage relationships with organisations, speakers, partners and lead activists to support the growth and development of event as well as having oversight of the marketing, comms and design of Amnesty's activist events.

East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is a regional Charity providing life-saving care across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond. Two state of the art helicopters and a fleet of critical care cars take our crew of skilled HEMS paramedics and doctors to the scene of the incident, to provide advanced pre-hospital emergency medical care.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CRM Manager to join our lifesaving charity.

You will lead the continued development of EAAA’s CRM system, working with stakeholders and our third-party supplier to ensure operational processes and integrations are compliant and fit for purpose.

Delivering up to the minute intelligence derived from the CRM, you will ensure all teams understand their audiences and trends enabling them to create effective supporter journeys and deliver an excellent supporter experience.

You will have significant experience of managing a CRM system in a target driven environment and have a high level of competence across the Microsoft portfolio. Business intelligence experience in a customer focussed setting and competence in using reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is essential.

The CRM is the heart of all our fundraising, financial and supporter engagement activities and is used by all charity staff who are not directly operational; its reliability and accuracy are critical to the charity’s financial sustainability, making this role integral to ensuring the system performs at its best.

This role will involve occasional travel to other EAAA sites across the region so a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

Purpose of the Assistant Registrar role:

As our Assistant Registrar, you will contribute towards administering the legal and logistical aspects of collections management for outward and inward loans, the maintenance of the Accessions Register, and coordinating regular auditing checks

Key responsibilities of our Assistant Registrar include:

• Support in the development and maintenance of Collection policies, procedures, and standards

What we are looking for in our Assistant Registrar:

• Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in a museum or heritage environment
• Practical experience in museum documentation and collections management
• Experience in the use of Collections Management systems, including Collections Management databases, and literate in Microsoft packages
• Experience in an assistant registrar or documentation/collections officer post in a museum or heritage organisation
• Knowledge of UKRG reports and the Government Indemnity Scheme, and the processes involved in administering the scheme
• Experience in undertaking and coordinating storage audits within a heritage organisation
• Knowledge of Collections Management standards and able to demonstrate practical experience of their application in a heritage environment
• Experience handling a wide variety of object types and in moving, packin,g and transporting museum objects

BACKGROUND

Ashiana is a ‘by and for’ women's led BME VAWG service with 30 years’ experience in delivering a holistic range of specialist services to South Asian, Turkish and Middle Eastern women affected by VAWG.

OUR SERVICES

Ashiana runs three refuges with a total of 29 bedspaces; specifically for women aged 16-35 fleeing forced marriage. This multi award winning project is the only service of its kind in the UK and is highly innovative in terms of addressing an area of significant need not met in other refuge provision. Within these refuges we designate a number of bedspaces for women with no recourse to public funds. We offer an advice and support service to women and girls who are experiencing VAWG, enabling them to make informed decisions and exit violent relationships. We provide a legal service supporting women with no recourse to public funds to help resolve their immigration status.

Counselling is offered for women and girls affected by VAWG. The counselling service works from an integrative stance, with the focus of providing a holistic service whereby we also work alongside other services and provide specialist domestic violence group work. The emphasis of therapeutic work with our clients is from a trauma informed model.

We also deliver an education programme for young people in secondary schools in East London aimed at preventing domestic violence and enabling young people experiencing domestic violence to access appropriate services. The prevention service includes delivering a whole school approach in schools to young people as well as group work to women and girls across North East London boroughs as well as community engagement activities and delivery. We deliver a range of awareness raising workshops for young people in the community and training on domestic violence for professionals in the voluntary and statutory sector.

PRIMARY TASK

The post is instrumental in overseeing the delivery of a comprehensive package of services and care for women in our refuges. To provide a safe environment and a service that is appropriate to the needs of young BME women particularly those from South Asian, Turkish and Middle Eastern communities and to support ex-clients following resettlement.

The post holder will have a caseload of clients and be responsible for providing advice, advocacy, casework and support to women and girls, advocating on behalf of these women and making others aware of their particular needs. The post-holder is required to demonstrate sensitivity and an awareness of the culture and needs of  minoritised communities in all aspects of their duties and responsibilities.

We’re looking for a talented and driven Supporter Acquisition Manager to join a renowned charity within their Fundraising team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-profile, multi-channel campaigns that recruit new supporters!

About the role

As Supporter Acquisition Manager, you’ll lead on the day-to-day delivery of direct marketing campaigns designed to inspire and recruit new donors. You’ll be responsible for planning, managing and evaluating campaigns across a range of online and offline media, including innovative new channels and products.

You’ll work closely with creative and media agencies, internal teams, and suppliers to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standards — with budgets of up to seven figures. You’ll also line manage a Supporter Acquisition Officer or Executive and oversee their development and performance.

This role sits within the Individual Giving team, where you’ll have the chance to influence strategy, test new ideas, and contribute to the charity’s mission.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Significant experience in direct marketing or fundraising, delivering successful multi-channel campaigns.
• A proven track record of recruiting new donors and testing new approaches.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to build relationships with agencies and stakeholders.
• Experience managing large budgets and using data insights to optimise performance.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to develop and motivate others.
• Knowledge of UK fundraising regulations, GDPR, and digital channels (e.g. paid social, PPC) would be an advantage.

About us

Citizens Advice Havering (CAH) and Citizens Advice Redbridge  (CAR)  work in partnership to provide information and advice to the residents of both boroughs. .  CAH and CAR are amongst the smaller local Citizens Advice (LCAs) and as such have to work hard to meet demand with limited resources.  We work in a number of locations across the boroughs, working  together on back office and support functions to maximize cost efficiency. We deliver our services with the help of 34 paid staff across the partnership.  Most of our paid staff provide advice services.  Our staff team is supported by approximately 70 dedicated volunteers supporting advice and administration.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced back-office professional who comfortably works with trustees, staff and volunteer teams, suppliers, clients and external stakeholders.  The successful candidate will need to be able to handle a wide range of tasks – from the mundane to the complex – equally skillfully and diligently.

The Partnership Support Manager will independently manage their own workload, but work with and be part of a wider team who have a range of expertise and a common aim.  There is the opportunity to recruit and train volunteers who can assist with administrative tasks and build up a small team.

The purpose of the Partnership Support Manager role is to provide support to the Senior Leadership Teams of both local Citizens Advice so that the partnership runs smoothly in every aspect.  This will mean taking responsibility for all areas that make the work of our advisers, supervisors and managers possible.
