Could you be the new Worker Organiser in our team? This 12 month post will lead on worker outreach and organising with onshore and offshore energy workers. Working from our existing contact list, and making new contacts through online and in person outreach, you will be responsible for building links with energy workers and community members and planning interventions.

Create has just entered Year Five of its ambitious seven-year strategy to double its reach/impact by the charity’s 25th anniversary in 2028. As the charity progresses into this critical phase of development, we have been awarded a major (£320k) grant to support capacity building. This will enable the further implementation of Salesforce as the charity’s CRM, focusing on the project management and finance functions of operation, transforming efficiency and reducing administrative strain. This will be achieved by creating the position of Technical Project Lead to project manage and oversee implementation of Salesforce; increasing capacity in the finance team by appointing a Finance Manager; and implementing new cloud-based financial accounting software to work alongside Salesforce. The Director of Finance & Operations will direct, administer and coordinate the financial, governance, HR, IT and operational activities of the charity in accordance with company policies and the Strategic Plan established by the Chief Executive (CE) and the Board of Trustees, and to assure the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the planning, delivery and reporting of these activities.

Salary: £46,000-£51,000 per annum depending on experience.

This person will promote mission-focused content and activity across the Movement, for the 95% of children and young people who aren’t in church, for those who seek to reach and work with them, and for those who nurture them in their new-found faith.

The successful candidate will:

· Provide excellent front office service for all calls coming into Scripture Union, dealing with queries, sales and gifts, and passing on where appropriate to other departments.

· Manage all processing of sales and subscription orders and their associated payments or refunds, top up donations, Direct Debit processing and subscription renewals for the Supporter Care function.

· Proactively support the work of the Mobilisation Team in liaison with the Supporter Care Lead.

· Support the fundraising team with the administration of appeals, campaigns and other related activities.

· Support the Fundraising Team in legacy administration tasks, including corresponding with executors and solicitors.

- Gain an in-depth understanding of current corporate partnerships and patronages at ENB and identify areas for growth, leading on the income and expenditure budgets for the Corporate Business Unit. You will also Support the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to review and deliver the existing strategy for the Corporate Business Unit and be accountable for the programme's pipeline development, for the future

About You

You must have had;

*Experience of working with commercial organisations in a fundraising environment, with a track record of securing six figure support.

*Proven experience of line management in a fundraising department, supporting their professional development and providing inspiring and supportive leadership.

*Track record of growing income and pipeline development in the performing arts, cultural, higher education or third sector, in the UK.
