About the role

You’ll join our finance team as a Systems Accountant, bringing strong financial and technical skills. This role is ideal for someone part-qualified with experience in successfully implementing finance systems and improving financial processes. 

You’ll act as a bridge between finance and IT, ensuring financial systems are optimized to meet business needs, driving efficiency, and enhancing financial reporting.

• Support the implementation, development, and continuous improvement of financial systems.

• Collaborate with finance and IT teams to ensure smooth system integration and data accuracy.

• Assist in configuring and testing new financial systems or system enhancements.

About the role

You’ll support effective governance and compliance by coordinating key processes, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with regulatory obligations across the charity.

You’ll help embed a culture of accountability and integrity, contributing to strong oversight and enabling the organisation to deliver its mission with confidence.

What’ll you do

• Support the Head of Risk and Assurance to ensure the charity remains compliant with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, keeping abreast of changes and developments to ensure they are enacted.

• Assist in the maintenance of statutory records and ensure timely updates to regulatory bodies (e.g. Charity Commission, Companies House).

• Support the development and review of governance and compliance policies and procedures.

• Monitor regulatory requirements in areas such as data protection (GDPR), fundraising standards, and safeguarding.

• Maintain and update the compliance calendar, tracking deadlines and supporting timely delivery of required actions.

What you’ll bring

• Experience in charity governance, compliance, or risk management. Relevant non-charity experience will also be considered, provided you demonstrate a strong interest in the charity sector 

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to charities (e.g. GDPR, Charity Commission guidance) 

• Knowledge of modern risk management frameworks 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Good attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities

About the role

This is an exciting time to join Parkinson's UK, our newly created Performance Analyst role will ensure the work being done to deliver the strategy can be effectively measured against performance targets. This role sits in our Performance & Programme Delivery division which will lead the development of a new Programme Management framework that ensures the charity is able to successfully deliver on its mission to be fit for the future, with an eye on our full portfolio of work

You’ll play a key role in analysing and improving organisational performance by collecting, interpreting, and presenting data to support strategic decision-making. 

You’ll work closely with senior leadership, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure data-driven insights lead to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Oversee the development of high-level, executive-ready reports and visualisations that provide clear, accurate, and insightful information to senior leadership, directly supporting strategic decision-making processes.

• Strategically partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with organisational objectives, establishing sophisticated tracking mechanisms and frameworks.

• Proactively identify systemic inefficiencies and develop comprehensive, data-driven recommendations with a focus on significant organisational impact and long-term performance enhancement.

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience in a similar role, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Knowledge of and cross transferable expertise in a range of relevant tools is essential. For example: SQL, Python, R, Tableau, PowerBI, SPSS 

• Knowledge of qualitative or quantitative research methods, research ethics and research design is essential

• Experience in creating and delivering reports that effectively communicate insights and recommendations

We are hiring two Community Engagement Officers to join our ambitious team. Reporting to the Community

Engagement Manager, these two roles will work closely together to support the growth of our Community Giving Program from £310,000 to £650,000 over the next three years.

The Community Engagement Officer will be be responsible for implementing, and supporting the development of, our donor acqusition and retention strategies for key organisations across our catchment area; identifying new opportunities for growth, and analysing the effectiveness of fundraising initiatives to ensure targets are achieved. The Job

Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, the Supporter Care Officer role sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising team. USPG is looking for someone with excellent communication skills and enthusiasm to join our small but growing fundraising team.  The post holder will be the first port of call for all incoming communications and will work closely with the Individual Giving Manager to ensure that our supporters feel valued. The Senior Psychologist will lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions for service users with complex trauma presentations. As a clinical specialist, you will provide expert assessment, formulation, and intervention, ensuring that psychological care is tailored to the needs of asylum seekers and refugees.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri

Duration: 12 months FTC, with possibility of 3-year extension (subject to project funding)

Location: Birmingham/Sandwell (5-day in-person role working in the project clinic)

Salary: £52,866.48 - £64,614.57 per annum

Job Purpose:

A key aspect of the role is clinical leadership, including supervision and training for psychologists, assistant psychologists, and caseworkers to ensure psychological principles inform all aspects of service delivery. The postholder will drive the integration of trauma-informed practices, contribute to clinical governance, and support outcome monitoring. They will also play a pivotal role in supporting pathways for stabilisation and trauma-focused therapy.

Working closely with the Mental Health Activity Manager (MHAM) to uphold clinical standards, the Senior Psychologist will focus on the direct provision and supervision of psychological interventions, rather than broader operational and service management functions. Additionally, they will engage with external stakeholders to promote best practices in psychological care and facilitate seamless referral pathways.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Knowledge:

• Doctorate in Clinical/ Forensic/ Counselling Psychology with HCPC registration.
• Further advanced training in relevant specialist treatment delivery (e.g. CBT, EMDR, NET)
• Advanced expertise in complex trauma, PTSD, and comorbid mental health conditions, particularly in refugee and asylum-seeking populations.
• In-depth understanding of trauma-informed care models, stabilization techniques, and stepped-care approaches.
• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based trauma therapies, including TF-CBT, EMDR, NET, and third-wave approaches.
• Strong working knowledge of safeguarding policies, risk assessment protocols, and ethical guidelines (e.g., HCPC, BPS, NICE guidelines).
• Understanding of mental health policy, advocacy, and service commissioning within humanitarian and third-sector settings.

Skills:

• Highly developed clinical assessment, formulation, and treatment planning skills for complex cases.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and clinical supervision abilities to support junior psychologists and multidisciplinary teams.
• High-level risk assessment and crisis intervention competencies.
• Strong interdisciplinary teamwork, with the ability to liaise effectively with external agencies and humanitarian stakeholders.
• Proficiency in research, audit, and data-driven service evaluation to support evidence-based practice.
• Highly developed skills in effectively communicating complex, ethically sensitive, and clinically relevant information both orally and in writing to clients, their families, carers, and professional colleagues across different healthcare and humanitarian settings.

Experience:

• At least three years of post-qualification experience, with significant experience delivering trauma-focused therapy.
• Experience providing clinical leadership and supervision to Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists, or trainees.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-risk and complex clinical cases.
• Strong record of multidisciplinary team collaboration and policy engagement.
• Experience working with refugees, asylum seekers, or survivors of trafficking and torture.
• Research, service evaluation, or policy development experience.
• Prior work in humanitarian, NGO, or third-sector organisations would be an asset to the role
• Experience in the practical use of personal IT equipment and Microsoft Office 365 suite. The ability to effectively collaborate and communicate within a hybrid working environment utilising Teams, SharePoint, One Drive and Yammer.

The role oversees the operations of a full range of facilities owned by CMS, to be used flexibly for strategically driven services in relation to CMS’s vision and values. Your responsibilities

Conferencing and reception

· Line management of a team of two staff: the CMS House supervisor and conferencing and reception assistant

· Ensuring team development to nurture a culture of welcome and customer service, while ensuring tasks are completed

· Giving direct support to the team, providing cover on reception and help for major events happening in the CMS House building

· Support the Director of Finance and Corporate Services in setting of policies and guidelines for the use of the CMS House building and for hiring of conference facilities to include rates, publicity, balance of use by internal/external people.

Facilities management

· Monitoring the contracted services for the supply of utilities (gas, electricity, water, etc) and selected services (windows, pest control, hygiene, refuse collection)

· Arranging and supervising building maintenance contracts - lifts, air conditioning, fixed equipment electrical testing, fire alarms, CCTV and others - and minor repairs as required. Renegotiating contracts as needed, involving the director of finance and corporate services and the CMS legal advisor as required.

· Maintain the performance of building services, optimising maintenance regimes and proposing improvements

· Liaise with existing tenants. Work with agency appointed by CMS to arrange marketing of the surplus office space and work with the CMS legal advisor on the tenancy agreements.

· Managing other properties owned by CMS (2025: three houses and two flats) which are let or licensed for occupation to employees and former mission partners, advising on maintenance as required

· Manage the maintenance of the pooled car fleet

Health and safety

· Responsible for the co-ordination of health and safety policy for the whole organisation, working with the support of consultants where required

· Maintain the building to meet health and safety legal compliance

· Carrying out daily and weekly checks as needed, e.g. fire alarm, water safety

· Arrange training of first-aiders, fire wardens and oversee fire drills

Job Purpose 

BSR events are a key benefit to members and the wider rheumatology community, offering the very latest in science, innovation, research and cases.  

Our events team deliver the award-winning Annual Conference in a hybrid format to c2500 delegates, plus our Case-based Conference, as well as a programme of celebratory awards.  

This role sits within the Events team which is responsible for delivering BSR’s annual conferences and awards. The team of four includes the Head of Events, Events Manager, Digital Events Manager and the Events Executive, who assists in the planning and delivery of our hybrid and in-person events. You will work on a range of areas including registration, logistics, being the main point of contact for delegates, and liaising with venues and suppliers. This is an exciting role for someone looking to get more exposure to different areas of events and working with multiple stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the registration process for BSR conferences, including online booking journey, managing CRM/registration systems, end to end customer service and reporting registration data insights.  
• Work with the Events Manager on the delivery of conference programmes and networking events.  
• Lead on event logistics including awards, abstract poster submissions, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation, accommodation, travel arrangements and speaker expenses. 
• Champion BSR’s values by leading on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and accessibility for conferences, working with venues and suppliers to ensure a positive experience for attendees.  
• Support the Events Manager and Business Development Manager with sponsor and exhibition deliverables on areas including registration and posters. 
• Manage event and registration enquiries, providing excellent customer service.  
• Support the Digital Events Manager with online conference integrations and data reporting.  
• Input into our event budgets by monitoring progress and providing financial reporting and reconciliation against income and expenditure. 
• Work with the Marketing and Communications team to create digital content to engage our audiences.  
• Support with BSR committee liaison and logistics.  

General 

• Be a core member of the events team by attending and inputting into all planning meetings, venue site visits and delivery of events onsite. 
• Identify and contribute ideas on how to improve processes and ways of working. 
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Head of Events.

Please note: This role will require travel, overnight stays and weekend work, for example at our conferences (6 day stay). As we are a small team you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in cross-departmental projects, lead or contribute to agile sprint working and support wider business needs. Overview of the Team  

The Corporate Services team provides essential strategic and operational support across the organisation. Our governance function oversees compliance, risk management, and performance frameworks. The finance team manages budgets, financial planning, and reporting. All of this contributes to effective decision making. We are also responsible for looking after our properties, which includes maintaining oversight of two commercial leases, and maintaining Dartmouth House which is a grade II* listed events venue and our Head Office in Mayfair.

 Purpose of this role  

The Senior Governance Officer will provide high quality support to the Board of Trustees and its sub-Committees, and the Chief Operating Officer. This role will work closely with the Executive Assistant to the Director General.

Responsibilities and Expectations  

• Provide governance support including the preparation and timely circulation of agendas, papers, minutes and action logs for Board and Committee meetings.

About the Role

We are a hardworking organisation, seeking to promote the positive contributions and achievements of young people through the grants we make and the programmes that we run.

We are looking for a dynamic, highly organised, enthusiastic and efficient person to join us to provide effective administrative and database support for the organisation and to help to ensure the smooth running of JPF’s grants programmes. The post holder will be a member of the Operations Team and will be required to work closely with colleagues across the Foundation.

Purpose of Job

To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Operations Team at the Foundation, with a focus on maintaining accurate records, coordinating administrative processes and database management, supporting financial operations, and ensuring the smooth running of the office.
This role is essential to the delivery of the Achievement Award Scheme and other JPF grants and programmes.

Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Operations and Database Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Operations Team.

The primary duties are:

1. Administrative support for JPF’s Achievement Award Scheme and other associated grant programmes
1.1 Support the Operations Officer to prepare and send Achievement Award (AA) materials to all new joiners and organise the general AA mailouts twice a year.
1.2 Manage the JPF general email accounts ensuring that all emails/correspondence are forwarded to the relevant staff member.

2. Database and information management
2.1 Maintain accurate records on JPF systems, particularly the Salesforce database.
2.2 Support the Operations Officer to run periodic data checks on the database and correct identified errors.
2.3 Generate lists and reports from Salesforce, as required, deleting those that are no longer required.
2.4 Assist the Operations Officer with other database tasks e.g. setting up and amending other grant processes in our database such as online application forms, report forms, requirements from grantees, amending email templates, setting up automations, etc.
2.5 Support Head of Operations with maintaining up-to-date organisational policies and procedures.
 

3. Finance and payment support
3.1 Process weekly payments under the guidance of the Finance and Operations Manager.
3.2 Reconcile company credit cards for senior management approval.
3.3 Ensure that bank details for organisations are correct within Salesforce.
3.4 Respond to general finance enquiries and support the Grants Officers recording returned payments accurately.

4. Programme administration
4.1 Assist in the administration of the Internship Programme, other partnerships, IGFV or Open Grants programmes as required.
4.2 Ensure accurate records of all grant applications and reports for all programmes.
4.3 Lead the coordination and distribution of partner programme materials to JPF partners ahead of the academic year.
4.4 Maintain stock control of all JPF AA materials, advising the Finance and Operations Manager when stock requires replenishment.

5. General IT and administrative duties
5.1 Liaise with JPF’s IT providers to ensure seamless IT support for staff and onboarding/offboarding processes.
5.2 Maintain sufficient office cover and manage staff attendance using the Microsoft Teams calendar.
5.3 Distribute daily post and manage general incoming communications efficiently and update contact information in Salesforce.
5.4 Maintain a tidy and well-functioning office environment, including shared spaces and meeting spaces.
5.5 Organise refreshments and ensure room set-up, including technology requirements, for meetings and events as required.
5.6 Arrange for staff photos to be updated on the staff noticeboard and JPF website.
5.7 Complete stationery orders and ensuring that supplies are maintained.
5.8 Maintain inventory of AA and LA medallions and coordinate reorders with the Events Team.
5.9 Oversee the circulation of staff birthday cards, collections and staff celebrations where required.

6. HR and onboarding support
6.1 Support recruitment administration and onboarding processes, including office set up for new staff.
6.2 Lead induction and office set up for work experience placements and other volunteers or contractors.
6.3 Maintain the JPF telephone directory, ensuring staff mobile numbers are current and accurate.
6.4 Administer DBS checks for new staff as required.
6.5 Monitor Cyber Security Training completion and report non-compliance.
6.6 Purchase the weekly supply of fruit, milk, coffee, tea and other supplies for the JPF kitchen.

7. Other Responsibilities
7.1 Attend and actively contribute to Operations and wider JPF Team meetings.
7.2 Provide telephone and email support to enquirers on JPF funding streams.
7.3 Adhere to the Foundation’s policies and procedures, including Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Data Protection, and Publicity Consent.
7.4 Provide cover for reception as required.
