About the role
We are hiring in our Grants team which is part of the wider Development Department at ClientEarth. This department is responsible for raising and managing funds to enable the organisation to deliver its mission using the power of the law to bring about systemic change that protects the earth for, and with its inhabitants. As Grants Officer you will work in our Grants Team to manage a portfolio of grants that fund our organisation’s work, with a focus on managing a portfolio of grants from trusts, foundations, and other statutory and institutional funders.
Meet your Manager
In this role, you will be managed by Emma Franklin. Emma is a Grants Manager at ClientEarth, where she oversees a dynamic portfolio of grants related to supporting the Resources, Energy and Mobility system of legal work across Europe and Asia. Emma has worked in grant management and philanthropy roles since 2017 at several major environmental not-for-profits. She’s extremely passionate about climate and environmental issues, and believes deeply in ClientEarth’s mission – using the lasting power of the law to protect our fragile planet. Emma moved to London in May 2024, hailing originally from her hometown of Sydney, Australia.
Main Duties
- Manage a portfolio of grants, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and timelines
- Coordinate key grant management processes including: Go/No-Go, due diligence, funding agreement review, grant kick off and grant management meetings, narrative and financial reporting and renewals.
- Deliver compelling, impactful and timely proposals and reports, and broker the relationship between programmes and the funder
- Maintain excellent relationships with funders through timely communications in relation to the work they support
- Effectively manage reporting and the grant renewal process from start to completion - including working with multiple teams across ClientEarth’s International offices to ensure input from all relevant stakeholders, to complete proposals and reports in a timely and high-quality manner

- Experience in a grant or project management role within the non-profit or public sectors (essential)
- Proven track record in drafting successful proposals, delivering timely and accurate reports and managing funder relationships (essential);
- Experience of managing six figure gifts (essential);
- Knowledge of and/or interest in environmental issues (such as climate change, energy, plastics, chemicals, air pollution, and biodiversity issues), policy and law, litigation, courts and/or environmental justice (desirable)

Last year, our swimmers raised over £1m. This year we’ve sold out events in minutes and want to double the fundraising. We’re on the path to exponential growth and we need someone who can help us get there.
We're Level Water, a founder-led charity solving learn-to-swim for disabled children. We're not your typical charity. We own our events and run them like a business. We've just brought in a new Fundraising Director, and this Marketing role is a cornerstone of the team we're building. If you want to help define how a modern charity grows and does marketing, this is your chance.

Own end-to-end marketing for our events portfolio: from launch campaigns to sell-out.

Data Services is part of the Central Services of the Church of England, providing statistical information, data, analysis, research and consultancy.
The team works collaboratively with the National Church Institutions (NCIs), dioceses and parishes collecting and assembling data to support the Church's missional, pastoral and operational activities through high-quality information and analysis. This is used locally, at parish, diocesan and national levels, involving the Team in a wide range of customer contacts and interfaces.
In the context of the Church of England's Transforming Effectiveness Programme, the Data Services Team will work to promote data collection that is economic, efficient and effective, producing high-quality services and deliverables geared to a varied range of customer needs. Within Data Services, the Partner & Projects team will be the main interface between all of Data Services and its customers across the NCIs, dioceses and parishes, ensuring that opportunities for collaboration are identified and acted upon. ROLDA (Romanian League in Defence of Animals) is an international animal welfare charity working to improve the lives of dogs, cats and other vulnerable animals in Romania and beyond. The Finance Manager leads the eoa’s finances to ensure the businesses resources are used effectively, efficiently, and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of the organisation’s financial strategy, ensuring it underpins and enables operational delivery.
- Manage the annual budget-setting process, working closely with colleagues to align budgets with strategic priorities.

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The Dementia Service Co-ordinator is a newly created role responsible for coordinating and developing Age UK Croydon’s Dementia Service. A varied role with development, supervisory, and facilitation responsibilities, it offers an exciting opportunity to join the team and help shape the service to support people living with dementia, their carers, and the wider community. The Dementia Service sits within the Healthier Lifestyles Team and currently offers six monthly Memory Tree Cafés for people living with mild to moderate dementia and their carers, alongside co-located support groups for carers. Cafes are delivered at our Brigstock Road Community Hall and across the borough in local community venues.
The role has two main areas of responsibility: coordinating, facilitating and expanding the existing café and carers’ group; developing a new preventative strand of the service focused on providing information and advice to residents aged 50+ on raising awareness of dementia, promoting brain health and reducing the risk of developing dementia.
The post holder will ensure the effective delivery, monitoring and evaluation of our dementia-related services across the borough. Salary: £55,407 per annum.
Hours: 35 hrs per week
Place of work: Hybrid with a minimum requirement of 24 in-person days per annum and significant travel across the UK including overnight stays (at least once a month)

We are looking for someone to join us who will take the lead on improving the quality and standards of care for people affected by Crohn’s and Colitis across the UK. As a member of the Senior Executive Team you will translate the strategic direction of the charity into tactical plans for healthcare professional support and quality improvement to achieve the charity’s strategic objectives.

Role Overview
You’ll work with the Director of Services, Research and Evidence to develop and implement a healthcare professional services strategy in accordance with the charity’s strategic aims. You will deliver the charity’s strategic leadership of the IBD UK Alliance and associated programmes of work as well as the implementation of the National Primary Care Diagnostic Pathway for lower gastrointestinal symptoms, and building a support offer for IBD nurses. You’ll be leading the strategic planning and budgeting for the Health Professional Support & Standards team, providing visible and influential leadership to the charity and driving a culture of high-performance, collaboration and continuous improvement.
About You
It is essential that youhave significant experience working in a health charity, leading a team that delivers programmes to support healthcare professionals. This includes developing education, driving engagement, and leading quality improvement initiatives across primary and secondary care.
You will be an experienced leader with a strong track record of managing teams and influencing senior stakeholders to improve standards of care. This is not a clinical role; we are seeking someone with proven experience leading healthcare professional support, education, engagement, and quality improvement programmes within a charity setting, rather than someone whose experience is primarily clinical.

Our Location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail.
In this role, there is plenty of scope for a hybrid approach working from home, although there will be times when you will need to be at face-to-face meetings with your team or our partner agencies. There is a requirement for you to attend a minimum of 24 in person days a year, and the charity’s mandatory ‘All Staff Together’ days which take place four times a year at our offices in Hatfield or a location in London. There will be a requirement for significant travel and overnight stays around the UK (once a month on average).
